This is the only thing getting me through the gloomy Canadian weather as we turn into autumn and winter. Even if i wake up sad i spray this and the sweet maple instantly provides comfort. This is a classic example of a fragrance that makes you smell nice and cute and therefore makes you FEEL nice and cute, smelling it on me throughout the day is a nice pick me up. Also I work at a butcher shop so fragrances usually fade fast but this is one of the longest lasting fragances I've worn to work.

I am blown away by this collaboration. It smells exactly how I pictured a Canadian inspired fragrance to smell like. If you enjoy edible smelling gourmand fragrances, you will love this! I notice the pear (sometimes smells like apple) and maple syrup the most. It’s sweet, but not too sweet. It’ll be perfect to wear this fall/winter when I want a comforting and sweet fragrance. Once it dries down on skin it smells like brown sugar.

Love this! Sugary pear opening and then mostly getting light airy confections, vanilla and maple syrup. Sweet but still light and airy. This is so nice. I’ve been wearing it a lot lately.

At first sniff I thought it will be too dense and cloying for me, also I even thought it has some chestnut among the notes and thought of Trasrevere by Pantheon Roma which I find to be too much... But I tried wearing it and was pleasantly delighted. It is rich but very well balanced, so it does not make you sick or overwhelmed. Also I feel like there is a touch of coffee in the scent, which does help to achieve this great balance. It does not smell like an overdose of that common maple syrup scent, and to be honest the note that I get the most is actually meringue! Very strong, rich delicious gourmand, perfect for cooler weather

I got a sample of this with one of my orders, and I was excited to try it! It unfortunately doesn't mix well with my body chemistry in the beginning. It is hard to explain, but I feel like the different notes in the beginning just clash. That being said, I do like the dry down. The dry down on me smells like maple syrup and vanilla, but it is really hard for me to get over the smell when initially sprayed, so I won't be purchasing a larger size. It might smell better on someone else :-)

This smells like a full-on breakfast platter—think maple syrup, sugar, and more sugar. It’s listed as having pear and lemon pie in the top notes, but I don’t pick up any fruit, just straight syrup and a little brown sugar warmth. If you love smelling like a syrup-drenched dessert, this is for you. Personally, it was too much for me. I was hoping for more nuance or brightness from the lemon/pear, but those are totally lost. Definitely gourmand—but heavy on the literal syrup.

Parfum Exquis is one of my two go-to Canadian boutiques to order Niche fragrances from, so when I saw they were launching their own fragrance I was intrigued. When I saw the notes, I ordered immediately. I will be reviewing this as soon as it comes in, but right now I can't wait! This is a hard one. After I ordered the 5 ml spray tester, I received a 2 ml sample in a recent order. Made me laugh, but I don't mind supporting the business so no big deal. Unfortunately, this one is not for me. I am a gourmand girly through and through, but I am discovering that while I like rich, sweet scents - bring on the vanillas and sugars and fruits - I don't like smelling like literal food. And that is what this one brings - a rich, fruity, nutty pastry scent that would be amazing in a candle, but it just isn't what I want to smell like. I will say, projection and lasting power are great, so if this is your vibe you are in for a treat.
