Gold Musk

Underrated. A lovely powdery floral everyday fragrance. No very unique, but awesome for everyday use as it's inoffensive, pleasant and stays fresh. Awesome for warm weather, doing sports ... I can smell the currants clearly, also the rosey floral notes. I can also sense some spiciness, but could not tell it's star anise. It's quite different from the regular Musk, I like this one better. I don't find it that good for layering tho, too much is going on. The bottle is ok, the cap feels terribly cheap though. Longevity is really good for this price, it lasts for about 5 hours on me, longer on clothes or hair.

This is so calming, comforting and I would never expect that I would like an old school perfume. It's feminine. Wow! And I get more like a creamy vanilla musc orange blossom, then the notes listed ..

This is like a modern take on Jovan Musk. I find the reviews interesting because although this is a gentle musk, much like the original Jovan Musk, if you over spray it or layer it over itself, the muskiness becomes absolutely overwhelming! I always think that the point in musk is to get that "your skin but better" vibe, and this is one of those! It has a syrupy boozy note at first with a kick of fruits, but it dries down into a cosy and lightly spiced sandalwood musk with a vanilla orchid sort of vibe. It's super pretty and easy to wear - much easier than the original Jovan Musk (which I also love in colder weather!). The fruits aren't sharp or screechy, the booze doesn't make this sour and the musk is soft and sexy. A warm musk you can wear in springtime!

The name Gold Musk made me think I was about to experience an amber musk, but this one is way more like a fruity musk. Not overwhelmingly fruity or silly, but the fruits come out for me stronger than the florals. The musk is subtle, which is good if you're not a musk fan -- except I AM a musk fan, and I was hoping for a bit more. Still, it's nice, and there's something familiar/nostalgic about it that I can't quite put a finger on. Maybe my dance teacher used to wear it, because for some reason my mind keeps going back to the dance studio of my childhood. It also has a bit of a sunscreeny vibe so I think it would do particulalry well in summer. Wear it by the pool with a rum cocktail in your hand!

Opens with Breck shampoo vibe which I like (think high end salon shampoo). Dries down to a finish that I can only describe as sun-warmed sand. The sandalwood and other notes form a tropical vibe musk that evokes a dusky sunset. Lightly seductive, comforting and zen.

Strong and stale passionfruit and currant opening, slowly dries down to nondescript rosey floral with hues of amber and liquor. It is a bit of a disappointment, as I really like Musk and Soft Musk - this is not musky at all, more of a mish-mash of random notes..Doesn't perform well sillage-wise either. Honestly, Avon does a better job with scents these days.. I wouldn't advise getting it, unless you want something mediocre and overpriced. Pity.

Smells like a spicy, sour passion fruit rum. I don’t drink so I don’t know if it’s a cheap rum or a fancy one but I’m trying to like it. Not very musky to my nose. Better suited to hot summer nights.

I don't know what I expected from this one... Maybe the fact that I usually love musky and ambery scent... But this frag turns to be tooo much similar to Amber romance VS, at least to my nose. Thant kind of generic sweetness, with a fruity touch and plastic, generic base notes. I love the og Jovan Musk, maybe even more than more expensive musky fragrances. But this one, unfortunately, was a blind buy gon bad for me 😒.

Very beautiful smell, I love it, but unfortunetly is too weak. On me stay just 5 minutes :) is it the same like Musk from Yves Rocher
