Make Them Talk

This new Jovan perfumes have been a nice surprise. They smell really nice, longevity on me is about 4 hours. Not sure about the sillage but I can smell it on me. I tried this one on my wrist at the shops first and it smelled really nice after 5 min. Then I bought it, but after applying a more generous amount on me I didn't like it that much on me anymore as it turned out be more of a masculine scent on my skin. It is still a nice citrusy - woody affordable perfume, but I think I'll give it to my boyfriend and get the "I want you to like me" for myself and see how it goes.

This is definitely a lot more masculine than expected, but I do still like it! It smells of lemon peels and a bit of wood. I got Etat Libre's I Am Trash in the same order I got this in, and it's a combo that really pops. I also tried it with Jovan's Skin I'm In, but that was also really good. Good stuff I like and not a love, because I don't like it that much when its own its own.

Good value at the 50ml for 15 or 20 bucks. Decent balance and blend to it with the patchouli of note. Not dominated by the citrus or the floral. Unisex but leans masculine. The musk is clean and I think it could've been elevated a bit with a slightly funkier musk to pair with the patchouli. This will be a workout scent for me.

Modern, masculine musk with a fruity backbone. It was instantly familiar, sniffed my bottle of Polo Red and the DNA is very similar. $9.99AUD for a modern, non-intrusive, environment fluid 100ml EDP? Yes please.

Jovan Musk for Men is signature fragrance, so needless to say when I saw Jovan was releasing three new scents, I had to get them. Make Them Talk is branded as the provocative one of the group, but to me, the original Jovan Musk is more provocative than this. Upon first spray, I immediately notice a clean citrus accented with light woods and just a hint of patchouli, which is the most interesting angle to it. It's all based in a clean, airy musk. As it dries down, it doesn't change too much. The volume just turns down. It's also interesting that you can mix it with either of the other two fragrances to amp it up, which is a neat trick. That's the best use for it, it's kind of hollow on it's own. Overall its such a safe, modern fragrance that it could be used anywhere, anytime, by anyone, which is actually what I DON'T like about it. At least original has some kind of hairy-chested intrigue to it.

Guys you are not supposed to wear them by themselves they are for mixing and layering that is why some of you are underwhelmed.
