tldr: you TOO can purchase this iconic and wonderful scent for 7 euros and be complimented! got the edp (gold cap orange juice) at the local drugstore and holy shit is this a winner? this scent brings me back to days with my grandmothers and my grand aunts and my godmothers. growing up on the cusp of 90s and 2000s, the iconic women in my life all seemed to have clean and fresh musks following them along, with warm gourmands a close second (thanks mom!). so growing up, little ol me would be sniffing something fresh and gorgeous following the gaggle of lawyers, socialites, teachers, and businesswomen that would all rally together to look after me while my powerhouse mom would be out working, and that has shaped my whole life, especially now as I’ve transitioned. I saw this at the drugstore weeks ago, got it (“it’s only 7 euros I literally do not need pumpkin spice right now” I said) and sprayed it. suddenly, clear as day, it felt like I unlocked the next chapter of being a lady. the scent was clean, soapy, fresh, but WARM AND COZY. in it I can detect hints of whatever jasmine and neroli and bergamot were in there, but not in the way most perfumes used them. they were soapy, clean, like hotel room soap dispensers and fancy mandarin hotel bathrooms after having drinks at the bar. but the scent itself was just clean, fresh, and human. and strangely sweet, but not saccharinely sweet. just like a warm, almost essence of caramel cloud. I sprayed it on while wearing a hoodie and it made me want to burrow up and smile wistfully despite not having someone to cuddle with. it was that memory-inducing. I had just received a longchamp bag secondhand too before buying this so it felt like the mom torch was being passed on to moi. but, to be honest, fades away kind of quickly? which I don’t know if it’s a con tbh it just goes down to a clean musk with a bit of bite to it. I sweat easily, and I sprayed it behind my knees; after sitting for a while, I curiously swiped at that spot, finding it slightly sweaty, and sniffed (which is I think probably the worst mental image for people reading this): the musk went down to how yaoi manga authors use “musky”, very lived in and bitingly sweaty but in a good way. it’s definitely a skin scent, with projection ranging from decent (smelling it from my shoulders and neck and maybe an arm whiff) to skintimate (skin scent type shit) which I do not mind at all; if I wanted to bowl people over with musk I’ll do another perfume (maybe extreme musk by Louis Varel or, god pray for everybody around me, musk by Alyssa ashley), but jovan does it nice and cozy. perfect for class, going out for coffee, and slinking around in soft loungewear. spray it on your lingerie, its a banger. final thoughts: the memories this perfume brings feels good feels organic. for 7 euros this is a steal. for a scent that brings me back to both 90s and 70s, it is surprisingly on par with modern musks. mainstay.

I've worn Jovan Musk for so many years or rather decades! It is a must-smell for any musk lover and a staple in any perfume collector's repertoire. Perhaps it isn't the earth-shaking newest and greatest fragrance but it's a classic that deserves it's place in perfumery. I have always worn the oil form and in the last several years I have begun to love and appreciate the cologne concentrate. Yesterday I was hoping to receive some fragrance samples in the mail so I didn't want to wear an actual "perfume." I decided on Jovan Musk for after my shower. The samples came later in the day and I found some new things I really love. I just dabbed a couple things on my wrists. Fast forward to this morning and while sitting with my coffee and the news I keep smelling lovely sort of woody notes, so I keep smelling my shirt thinking hmmm...Wild Woods? Stash? what is that? While those are both awesome it's not those. It's the Jovan Musk! The other samples were not sprayed but dabbed on and not across my midsection which is what my shirt was resting on. That is where the Jovan Musk was and it's beautiful. I do not get animalic or dirty vibes off this and definitely not J&J baby shampoo. Maybe we smell what our brain is actually looking for? I so often go off in pursuit of the "next big thing" forgetting the gems sitting right there in my collection. Jovan Musk sells for a few dollars and is available everywhere. I'll always have this and back ups as well in both oil and cologne spray. Great for layering, great for an understated gorgeous skin scent. Dime store fragrance...yes. Elegant and classy? Absolutely! Years ago a business woman friend told me, upon my asking that she wears Jovan Musk. This is someone who always looks polished and beautiful and has always embodied professionalism in her field. That moment really established in my mind how classy a simple fragrance like Jovan Musk can be! It's a no-brainer! Just buy it! Edit: I keep reading comments that this smells like nothing or it has no longevity. My new-stock JM oil seems to go on and on. I am still smelling the scent from a couple of dabs on my wrist last evening and it's now mid-morning. It's such a lovely perfume and I will always make sure I have plenty on hand and back-ups of both this and the White Musk for women version.

My second review of this fragrance! Of all the bottles of perfume I own Jovan Musk for women is still one scent that I always love to smell the most. Always a compliment-getter. This frugal minded fragrance is in my top five. I have several bottles of the spray. I like the bottle I have like in the above photo just aesthetically and mine is half full. Not sure if they still make that one. I have the tall glass bottle with the small gold lid as well and the orange capped bottle. I love them all scent wise. I keep all my perfumes in storage in the closet so it really doesn't matter. In regard to the oil, I just opened another new bottle of the oil. I have about three backups of oil. When I first dabbed it, I couldn't smell it much but then I had just sprayed the cologne concentrate as well. My nose was overloaded maybe. Anyway the more times I've opened the bottle of oil it has darkened in color and taken on more fragrance. Oxidation? Seems strange that it happened so quickly but I'd say give it time and keep opening the bottle. My last oil thickened considerably as the level of oil depleted. I never rub the stick on my arm, I always let the perfume oil drip off the wand onto my forearm. Many fragrances improve with use and time. I'm still able to smell it on my arm after rubbing it on last evening. I've noticed that sometimes the Jovan Musk Oil doesn't have a lot of scent when I first apply it but the next morning it is the most gorgeous skin scent I could ever ask for.

Thank you for all those very kind fragrantica members who helped me to find a soft, inoffensive yet unique and chic everyday perfume. There were many suggestions but the two that are available in my country and are also very affordable were Jovan Musk and JOvan White Musk. I just received them (both in the 96 ml bottle, Musk is Cologne Concentrate SPray and White Musk in Cologne Spray) today and I'm testing Musk right now. First of all, this is a very familiar scent for me and I suppose it's the same for almost everyone. When I was a little girl I got a small roll-on bottle of Avon's Soft Musk that I liked a lot, and Jovan Musk reminds me on that. THis is a very subtle, soft, powdery, slightly flowery smell, it's a little bit on the sweet side but not overwhelmingly so, I feel fresh, polished and organized while weróaring it the way as I had put a luxurious body lotion on. I can get only beautiful whiffs of it whenever I move but it doesn't have a great sillage to offend anyone. Sexy? It's hard to tell. Musk must be sexy in a way, as nature created it, of course. But in this form, on a woman's skin it is not sexy in term of erotics, in my humble opinion. HOwever, it may be sexy in the natural, uncomplicated and overly feminine way, it really is. I love it so far and I'm planning to buy the perfume oil, as well.

Why isn't this the potent musk you remember? Two words: Nitro Musk! Banned in the US since 1979 they were in most if not all of the old musk oils. Contrary to what some believe "real" musk hasn't been used in most mainstream fragrance for almost 100 years! Nitro-musks were once used extensively in perfumery and are now largely prohibited in many countries because they can't be fully cleaned out by sewage treatment plants and accumulate in fish and such. The kicker is that there is no conclusive proof that they're actually harmful. Polycyclic musks are mostly used in fragrance and londry products these days. They far inferior in strength, longevity and odor to the nitro musks. Macrocyclic musks are also not a good replacement for nitro musks. Although they closely resemble the true scent of real deer (Tonkin) musk, half the human population are anosmic to it. That means there is 50% chance you can't smell it! EVER! So fragrance companies use several musk chemicals in the hopes that you'll smell atleast one! So now you know why fragrance can smell so much different between people. Alicyclic musks I don't know too much about, their sort of new but from what I've heard they are also no match for nitro musks.

I own both modern and vintage Jovan Musk Cologne spray and Cologne Concentrate. In my opinion the orange capped bottles are the best formulation. Vintages of this, in my experience, go sour unless stored delicately. This is a pleasant skin musk that smells beautiful and inoffensive. I always receive compliments even when I become anosmic to it. I wear it with the vintage body powder and it is sublime. This has been a signature for me for quite a few years. I am also a male nurse, so this is definitely a sensual unisex fragrance suitable for close encounters. It smells and feels like a delicate and gentle warm hug. Modern formulation smells similar, however lasts around an hour on my skin before reapplication is needed. Vintage lasts the longest: I can smell almost 12 hours later. This does better on clothing for me. Get either the gold cap pictured above or if possible the orange rectangular capped bottled Cologne. Pre-Coty formulation is the original, however the orange capped and gold one above are Coty produced before IFRA restrictions and are my FAVORITE and most recommended to purchase if you can find them. If you find the body powder: SNATCH IT. It’s divine!

Omg What sweet hell is this? I know I’ve not smelt this in a long time and as a kid in the 70s my mum and nan wore this often and I even got it at school for myself once and I loved the powdery white musk smell. I think this is actually divine and even tho you may think it’s old fashioned but the vintage notes of this once dried down leaves the best powdery, jasmine and heady spicy fragrance that’s actually worth its weight in gold. And I so thank my mother who just got eight 12ml bottles for a ten pound note and gave me three, this has taken me right back in time, a more innocent and carefree time This is actually one of the best fragrances I ever come across, it’s literally like liquid gold, it's unusual, mystical and there is nothing else like it, completely original, it reminds me of a vintage soap, a powdery that envelopes you in a warm hug when you're feeling down, I 💕 Just to add I sprayed this in the morning and after a full day I laid on my sofa to watch tv this was all I could smell, even after my shower I could still smell it, and it was even better after I came out the shower

Today I got a bottle of the concentrated cologne spray (CCS) version of this to replace my nasty cologne spray bottle. The CCS goes on somewhat lighter and it starts out on the powdery side. The musk and citrusy notes aren’t as strong, either, but they’re still stronger than those in White Musk Jovan. I can see the CCS as a great inexpensive choice for a ‘first perfume’ for middle schoolers on up because of its gentle fresh smell. It also makes a great candidate for layering and lingerie spray 🤩 You’ll just have to spray on a bit more of the CCS when you’re wearing it solo to get an effect similar to that of the cologne spray. When you apply it that way, the musk note is more prominent. Unless you pour a bucket of this stuff over your head, you shouldn’t have to worry about it bothering people around you. When I run out of this, I’ll give the oil version a try.

I went into a dollar store looking for cheap napkins and plates for a picnic, and walked out with this. My bottle is 2.5oz clear, slightly oval shaped with a gold cap. It says natural spray instead of cologne. Ah, where do I start? It has that skin/musk smell without any sharp citrus or jasmine notes to overwhelm it. I honestly cannot stop sniffing my wrist. Clean, sexy, yet inoffensive enough to wear most places. It is better than any musk I have used, including my favorite Avon Night Magic. Night Magic has a "cold" element to it, that I can't name. Cold cream scent is the best way I can describe it. Not quite as "heavy" as Coty Wild Musk. This Jovan has none of that. Warm, soft, and elegant. That's what she is. And I cannot believe I spent only $5 USD for this. It suits me better than any of the expensive stuff I have. I may have to stock up.

My dad used to purchase the regular Jovan Musk for my mum, but he passed away. So, this year I purchased the entire Jovan Musk line for her (black, white, original), except the tropical, I couldn't find it. I love ALL of them! I remember smelling a musk scent on her when I was a child, but never knew what it was until my order came. I must say, this scent is a classic scent. It smells youthful and classic at the same time. I can see any woman over the age of 21 wearing this fragrance. Jovan is classic, soft, and beautiful. White is floral, soft, and reminds me of a wedding. Black is soft and sexy - it reminds me of a modern, much more expensive scent, but I am not sure which...I'll update when I remember. All-in-all my mommy was happy, I am happy, and I will be ordering these for myself too. Thank you, Daddy!

I bought what I thought was an older bottle. All the old ads sold big SEX! but all I smell is "baby shampoo" like Swamp Lily said. I was going to say baby wipes from the 80's and 90's but shampoo works too. They all had the same soft white musk type in them. Now it's true I didn't think I would get Arnold Schwarzenegger's underpants but I certainly didn't expect my baby brother's backside! It's nostalgic in the sense that it brought back memories of a sweet natured little baby of some 26 years ago but the furthest thing from what I was thinking it would be! It does dry down to clean skin but it's so slight and not the skankfest I was hoping for. Can anyone direct me to a truly smutty 70's animolic musk oil? I want sex in a bottle! I'll be keeping this because I think it will be nice for layering.

Thanks to the reviews here I purchased Jovan Musk oil 10ml from Walmart in US. I am so glad I did it! It has a warm, comforting smell of the musk I remember from 90s. I've tried it on couple of times, and it is a nice relaxing scent for the bedtime (tested late spring to summer) The other day, I went to the gym and I already had the Design EDT on (I sprayed it in am) so I applied Jovan Musk oil on my wrists and elbow area as an add-on. Once I start "perspiring" in the gym, the smell was very potent and silage increased. I thought I was producing the musk myself! :) And I loved it!!! So I do recommend, like many others, to go for the oil version, but I can't guarantee it will smell good on everyone. Can't wait to try it in the winter and see what the cool temperature will do to it

Review is for the actual oil, since they do not have a separate page for it. 100% unisex to me. My currently cheapest perfume and still one of my favorites. It smells like intimacy to me. It’s sexy in a very soft way. Warm, cozy, musky and slightly floral. The tiniest bit of freshness. Very human. The oil is easy to use and gets absorbed pretty quickly. The projection isn’t great but that’s not something that I’m particularly concerned about. Longevity as a skin scent is pretty okay, especially considering the price. It’s easy to carry and cheap so I wouldn’t mind just reapplying and carrying it with me. Sometimes I do wish I knew a somewhat higher quality version of this. The edt and edp didn’t impress me as much but I do like those a lot as well.

I was searching for something that smelled like Johnson and Johnson's baby shampoo. I had heard mixed things about Demeter Fragrance's baby shampoo, and their more affordable options for that particular scent weren't in stock when I started searching, so I took to Reddit. Someone on Reddit suggested this, and I'm so, so glad I took them up on that suggestion. It smells incredibly close to Johnson and Johnson's baby shampoo. It isn't an exact match, but is very similar. I'm ecstatic. I've always loved the smell of Johnson and Johnson's baby shampoo, and I've been searching for years for something like this. It will absolutely become a new signature scent of mine, and I think it will complement my natural scent really nicely.

Update: This oil has been growing on me all day and now I can't stop applying more and more. Although I still want a skankier musk for my collection, I enjoy this one on it's own merits. It's soft and comfortable and in one day this is fast turning into love. I have a funny anecdote! Today I took my son and dog to the beach. (Lake Superior is 2 blocks away) Anyway we were looking at beach rocks and picking raspberry's when a whole company of wild minks came wrestling up to us in broad daylight. They were just few feet from us looking and sniffing! My son was mesmerized and the dog went nuts but they didn't seem to care. They were young. When they moved on I said to myself in joking "It must be my animal musk".

An oldie but a goodie. It doesn't get compliments. It doesn't garner attention, but it does seem to attract both people and animals without them realising they're attracted to it. This might sound silly, but whenever I wear this perfume, people are friendlier and more chatty with me. My cat cuddles up more than normal. So does my partner. Dogs walk up to me on the street to be patted. I'm not kidding. People say longevity is poor because it's a cologne, but this is one of those fragrances that disappears and reappears throughout the day. I will always have a bottle of Jovan Musk for women in use, and another in the cupboard for a rainy day. Suitable for most of the year, but too much in hot, humid weather.

My mom knows about my love for fragrances. Today she shared with me one of her favourite fragrances back in the day. She could have gotten me a designer. She could have gotten me niche. One of my favorite smells, ever. My mom wore this one, Coty Wild Musk & Jovan White Musk a lot in the 90s (then Body Fantasies Fresh White Musk in the 00s) and those fragrances are the most comforting and nostalgic perfumes to me. I just got myself a bottle of this after having not smelled this in years (my mom pretty much only wears gourmands now) and omg.. SOO GOOD!! I wish I could bathe in this. Or have it pumped through the vents in my house. lol It reminds me of J&J baby shampoo but a little spicier. It smells perfectly unisex to me. **Get the oil version of this to wear along with the spray. It smells amazing and is super strong!

I layer the cologne spray (not the cologne concentrate, it is a less pleasing version, in my opinion) with the oil. Both are well-crafted scents that can be easily found for less than $12 each, which is one of the great things about many Jovan and Coty fragrances. It lasts for a work day, and it is fuzzy, powdery, slightly sweet musk with a citrus kick and a light floral halo. I never got to experience the seventies, but I have a strange fascination with that decade, and this fragrance seems to epitomize that era. It has an earthy, effortless sexiness that is welcoming rather than beckoning. Easy like Sunday morning.

I will never get tired of this simple, classic perfume. Originally I bought it to replace my very favorite, Jovan Wild Musk, which I adored and was my first "real" perfume. I still wish I could get some of the original formulation of Wild Musk, but until that happens, I'm content to love this. The notes aren't complicated at all so it's a fairly simple scent, yet when I wear it I can't keep my wrist away from my nose! I love it when I get up or move around and then can distinctly smell the perfume. Clean, classy, and yes, sexy. There will be a bottle of this oldie-but-goodie on my perfume tray as long as I live!

I have both the vintage spray and the current oil formulation. They are both pretty similar to my nose, with the spray having greater sillage, as one might expect. Overall, Musk for Women is a clean, sweet, somewhat soapy musk that smells like freshly washed skin. It is very likeable, inoffensive, and in my opinion, unisex. I can smell the white floral notes, but it's not screechy. I wear this often for the office as it's unlikely to bother anyone around me. It doesn't have the strong aldehyde burst like Jovan's White Musk. A great affordable fragrance for those that prefer subtle, musky scents.

Opens with some citrus. The jasmine and neroli give it a creamy, sweetness. The "body odor" element found in older musk fragrances is present here, it remains on the animalic side with the body odor aspect never going away. The base has a woody element. After it settles it's very pleasant. Reminds me somewhat of Coty's Wild Musk, this one is cleaner but it lasts a lot longer. I like the neroli and jasmine touches alongside the warm musk. Most of the time I'm disappointed with the cheapies I try, but this one was a pleasant surprise. It smells great, especially for the price.

Vintage oil version. One of the best comfort fragrances there is. A very natural-smelling skin scent with a buttery musk that's not quite clean or dirty to my nose, yet animalic. I get some slightly sweet florals, cocoa butter and a touch of vanilla here (more notes are listed elsewhere online). Sillage is light, though long-lasting...I put it on before bed last night and could still smell it next morning. I've worn this for decades and have no idea what the current version smells like, but there is nothing laundry or synthetic about the older bottles. Great for winter.

I love this, adore it. Wore it in the 80's as a teenager and felt so grown up, just bought a bottle last week and love it even more as a more mature woman. I can't stop sniffing it, it feels so comforting and special. I will always keep a bottle of this now I've rediscovered it. Comfort in a bottle, not sexy, reminds me of Coty L'aimant in that respect. I'm sure children will have fond memories of their Mums wearing this at Christmas and on special nights out. You might never want to ravish a woman wearing this, but you'd definitely want to cuddle her to bits.

I love this as a generic, clean, easy-reach. If it’s meant to enhance your natural aroma, I must have a very clean rather than seductive scent. I get a powdery musk and flowers, reminiscent of hotel soap. I think this could turn sexy when mixed with sweat and warmed up in the heat of the moment, but it’s not really a carnal musky sex-magnet for me. Today is cool and full of summer thunderstorms and this seemed like the perfect scenario for Jovan Musk; snuggling on the couch with the kids watching movies, it feels clean, cozy and mom-ish.

This is what my mother wore, for as long as I was alive this is the only fragrance that she wore, nothing else would do! It smelled so good on her, she was one of the only people I could smell this on and it'd smell amazing. This fragrance holds a bittersweet, somewhat painful note for me, since my mom passed away at the very young age of 54 this past April. I miss her so, so much, so whenever I want to be close to her, I always grab this bottle that my dad gave me, spray on my pillow and just enjoy. I miss you, Mama, so very much!! :'(

Jovan Musk and the variant White Musk have incredible longevity. ~3 sprays last me all day, and I can still smell it strongly 6+ hours after applying. (reviewing for the orange capped bottle.) This musk smells fairly unisex. Sometimes, like today, I get a whiff that makes me think of older men (not meant as an insult, this is a GOOD smell, to me! Like my beloved uncles who are now in their 70s/80s) Other times smells just like my mom inthe 90's. What memories will it showcase for you? Worth a try for the small price!

Before I get to the review, please be aware that I know I am anosmic to some musks, and I thoroughly believe I am, at least partially, anosmic to this. I have the musk oil edt spray. On first spritz, I do get that alcohol/hair spray scent but that fades quickly. What I smell is a soft, cozy musk with nuances of citrus and some white florals. It is soft, to my nose anyway, and so gentle and easy to wear that this would be appropriate anywhere. I do not care for Jovan White Musk but I enjoy wearing this.

I have Jovan Musk in body spray and oil. Body spray = soft musk with a slight soapy/floral overtone. Lasts about an hour. Oil = almost equal musk to floral composition that is rich, creamy, and a little sweet. Lasts about 3-4 hours. Either blends well with other fragrances and the oil Helps them last a bit longer. A new favorite! Update: my review was during cooler weather. It is getting hotter outside. The florals get overpowered by the musk in the heat. I'll save this for late Fall.

Clean, classic and nostalgic. All the women in my life wore this growing up, and now it's my time to pass on the torch. This is truly a wear everywhere fragrance...i expected it to be a lot stronger and more cloying but I think my mom and aunt just way over sprayed LOL. This reminds me of going to the YMCA as a kid for some reason, but not in a bad or sweaty way, just in a soapy way. I will have to check out the flankers since I got this at such a good price.

I don't find Fragrantica carrying reviews for the separate Jovan Musk COLOGNE Spray for Women. I'm referring to the orange capped bottle. It also is a few dollars less than the Concentrated Cologne (gold capped, above). These are two,completely different smelling formulas,and I much prefer the orange capped one. It's a subtly dry blend of cedarwood, Arabian musk and a slight hint of flowers. It's a pleasure to wear when you don't want to smell sweet.

Yep, definitely buying this again! I especially love how the sweetness of the jasmine balances out the musk and the citrusy vibes from the neroli and bergamot. It reminds me of a slightly weaker version of the early 2000s incarnation of Amazing Grace, but sweeter. Just like its gentler younger sister White Musk Jovan, it also doubles as a fine lingerie spray. This is another great choice for younger wearers due to its affordability and availability.

An affordable retro classic musk. Since others have made a lot of good points about Jovan Musk for Women, I'll just add that it's nice, clean, and recognizable. I don't layer fragrances often, but I could see layering this one with a simple floral. Lots of new musk fragrances released at much higher price points give a similar vibe, and perhaps, are inspired by Jovan. I have this and Skin Musk on hand for casual, comforting, clean scents. A staple.

This is a beautiful scent. It doesn't smell like the powdery musk like the White Musk version. This one has an aromatic and cologne vibe to it. Then, shortly after spraying, the florals shine. Far in the dry down is when the muskiness comes out a little. It's well blended and smells better and more unique than many perfumes coming out today. The only thing is that it doesn't really last long. Other than that, this perfume is amazing.

Now I don't mean to put you down... The smell of you makes me calm down... Have you never smelled mellow? Have you never tried To recall scent mem’ries inside you? Have you never been happy Just to smell cologne? Have you never loved someone who smells strong?

The musk oil is the best version of Jovan Musk. It’s subtle but very present and long lasting. I prefer this oil to the bolder Kiehl’s musk oil. It’s slightly more soapy and piquant than Kiehl’s musk, and priced much better. It almost has a gold Dial soap bar note in there somewhere. It’s irrepressible but almost subliminal in its quest for attention. Excellent for layering or by itself.

Soft and dreamy musk. Just gorgeous and will always be a love. It was what my Nani wore before she passed. I miss her with all my heart and this brings back wonderful memories. I will never be without a bottle of this. <3 P.S. The orange square cap smells exactly as I remember. There was something off about the orange round cap. I haven't tried the gold cap.

I purchased the oil and when I smelled it I immediately got some serious nostalgia! It smells how my mom did fresh out of the shower, though I'm not sure if she used Jovan or just a product that smelled similar. A beautiful clean musk and jasmine with a bit of a Krispy Kreme smell to it lol It's lovely and not at all dated in my opinion.

It does smell like Johnson baby shampoo and I totally LOVE it! It's the best 'budget' perfume I came across. Recently I tried a few but they ended up in the trash, so I decided to stop the cheapies ventures, but couldn't resist the musk and your reviews were so great! This is definitely a keeper for me.

Very jasmine forward on me. Leans more baby wipe than musk unfortunately, but I like it more than that may imply. Still, I only see myself using this for layering to warm up other things. There are nicer basic musks out there even at similar price points (skin musk for example).

I love musks in general, but this is my favourite musk, and one of my overall favourite perfumes. It is incredibly sexy, without being heavy or overbearing. It is really hard to believe how inexpensive this is, considering how amazing the scent is, just beautiful.

I added a few sprays of Blanche Bete to a mostly full bottle of the oil version. Blanche Bete beautifully rounds out the Neroli and still maintains the integrity of the scent of the oil. I get whiffs of Blanche Bete and Jovan Musk Oil. It’s such an enjoyable wear.

Musk 101 for beginners and where the pathway to other musks starts! Jovan Musk is an aldehydic floral clean musk for all occasions. Best worn on the skin, as a second skin. It's very pleasant, crazy affordable and inoffensive. What more could you ask for?

Funny how a simple spray of this to bring out all th memories of when I was a kid. My mom wore this all the time... She now says it's awful and too strong but I had to buy it to try it again and... I don't regret it at all 😊

If you want longevity with this one, go for the oil! It is amazing! You'll think it is gone but then you'll smell it or someone will compliment and ask what you are wearing. Great for layering too!

The most beautiful pure musk scent ever. With light wet slightly dirty musk, this scent beautifully exudes the spirit of the early 70's. Through the decades it has become a timeless icon. Love it!

It is an old fragrance, but in my opinion, it doesn't smell dated, I like it, and the only bad thing I can say about Jovan Musk is that the fragrance disappears after 10 minutes.

I got Jovan Musk / Orange Cap Vintage Version at eBay. The scent is take me back to the 80's that when I was teenager. I love this skin scent very much!!! Nostalgic and Sexy...

I wore this in my teens. Have hundreds of fragrances/ Revisited this one recently. Fan-freaking- tastic. It's so much more than a perfume, it's a weapon.
