Psychedelique Jovoy Paris Bought a bottle from Amaris at S$152.60. 30% off their retail price of S$218. This is still cheaper than what I can get off USA discounters/wholesale price (it seems USA prices aren't a lot cheaper than Amaris's retail price either), so Jovoy is worth getting if there's such discount % on retail. As usual good Jovoy Presentation with well protected hard box, bottle comes with a heavy shiny cap and thicker than normal glass bottle, heavy and simple elegant looking. Psychedelique isn't for anyone and everyone. You have to like Patchouli. A little tart sourness from the hesperidium at the opening that goes away fast. I put in quite a few sprays on the hands and arms and my polo tee today. I feel it smells really nice on the clothes, getting the main smokey dry rose patchouli amber on the clothes. On the skin, initial sprays gave off great projection and Silage and then it settles on skin and on the skin it's pretty drifting, I thought I got nose blind but it's not, it's the scent drifts in and out on my skin, especially the forehand, inner arms seems better settled. To me this is a smokey, ambery, slight incensey, dry earthy rose patchouli scent, definitely musculine and more suitable for men, unsure if any ladies want to pull this off on them but I think the ladies would love to smell this on a man, especially mature ladies. I feel this is pretty all weather wear but I think Psychedelique will work great at night and in cooler climate. I'm in Aircon and it's settling down pretty good. While not all patchouli scents are really good or easy to wear, I feel Psychedelique is rather easy for most noses to accept and use. The patchouli is not overly strong and pronounced and it gets the support from the rose/geranium discreetly in the background, however the labdanum and amber is pretty pronounced and upfront with the smokiness. The drydown comes with a nice gourmandy vanilla, not quite a stand out but a support with the musk while the heart notes lasts pretty long to the drydown. I've had the pleasure of owning quite a few patchouli scents and decants and Psychedelique is definitely one of the better ones around. If you want a more loud and pronounced patchouli at the opening, perhaps you want to look at Montale Patchouli Leaves, there are closer similarities after the opening but Montale is louder and very upfront with the heavy patchouli and amber but not really smokey. Psychedelique seems much more balanced and well blended compared to Patchouli leaves. Better wear for sure. I'll find a day and wear this out on a night out to the pubs or nightclub and see the reaction. Meanwhile Psychedeliquen is a keeper.

Psychédélique by Jovoy. Wow, now when I think about it, this is one of the first perfumes I purchased back in the day. And it still holds the spot as one of my favorite Patchouli compositions. I love Patchouli as a note, yet I get bored quickly with it and never felt the need to own multiple takes on this genre. Moreover, there are many facets of this shrub that can be showcased, and I tend to go for those perfumes that focus on the musty, earthy, dank, and earthy facets. Psychédélique falls in that category and is the only patchouli-based perfume, next to Borneo 1834, in my collection. While Borneo complements the patchouli with cocoa and cistus, the former focuses on the warmth and sweetness of the amber resin accord(here cistus and vanilla) and the musks. Much like with Borneo, this perfume delivers a big dose of that dank, earthy, and dusty patchouli, only that it feels even larger here. And it irons its creases with a sweet, glowing amber accord and musks. An ambery-patchouli that is larger than life and lasts forever with intoxicating sillage. It passes the test for me in the sense that when I think of ambers and dank patchouli compositions they have to make me think of old dusty books and chambers. And this one does. In the opening, there is a hint of booziness and an almost chocolaty feel, liquor-like nearly, before it recedes to the patchouli heart and later in the amber base. In the colder months, it is an utter delight and I feel it is one of those compositions that shine in the sillage more so than smelling them up-close. It is my favorite perfume from this house. A solid house all around with many great offerings and unique and beautiful sturdy bottles (seriously now the bottles are gorgeous). IG:@memory.of.scents

I found so many olfactory memories in this fantastic scent. I love it, and I would say it is entirely unisex by current standards. It smells like a sort of blend of all the girls I knew at the age of around 18-20 when everyone had a 1970s fling around the release of the film The Doors, when Lenny Kravitz was the king of contemporary hippie rock and the captain of every young woman’s heart (me being slightly envious obviously, I was a very heterosexual young male). The girls wore essential oils mostly, with just a light touch of top notes from some perfume, if any. Designer fragrances were simply not a thing, it was reserved for 30+ women with heavy make up, and businessmen (apart from my crowd wearing Jazz, Dalí Pour Homme, Fahrenheit, perhaps Ungaro pour homme — only a few select ones that had some artistic reputation). For a moment I thought of Lagerfeldt for men, but with several added layers of complexity, especially top notes with patchouli and labdanum. But now after a couple of hours, everything just floats in a dreamlike, psychedelic flow back and forth, up and down. Marvellous perfume. Difficult to see myself wearing it, but rest assured that I will gift this one to a special someone as soon as possible. In fact, To All the Girls I've Loved Before. Let Love Rule, as Lenny put it. PS; There is an initial blast of strong camphor, with sharp menthol and alcohol that very quickly fades, so there is no point in any test run of less than five minutes. It is very strong, so spray onto skin while not wearing anything else that interferes.

This and Incident Diplomatique had been on the radar since I first started building a wardrobe. In no rush I figured I'd get around to them when I get around to them. To my surprise, I received a sample of this with another purchase and I was thoroughly impressed with it to say the least. I enjoy Tempo by Diptyque, it’s a fine patchouli fragrance by any standard. But something about Psychedelique makes me want to keep smelling it. Tempo was similar in that regard too, in that I never got tired of smelling it, but Psychedelique is straight up olfactory dope. Pun intended. Dark, damp, earthy, ever so slightly floral, smooth, chocolatey patchouli with an air of mystery and sophistication blended to perfection. This fragrance was paradigm shifting for me. I feel that it is to the patchouli category, what Sultan Vetiver is to vetiver category (speaking from my personal taste of course). Having it makes my wardrobe feel a sense of completion and its honestly revealed superfluity. When I smell(ed) it, something in me says ahh this is the kind of fragrance I was looking for. And that since adding it to the scent arsenal, if I stopped here, trimmed that which is excessive, I'd be good. Nothing about this feels "dated" to me. Then again one of my top favorites is Polo Green. This is overall one of the best fragrances I've ever smelled. I find no faults. Its an easy 10 for me.

Lovely, strong, chocolaty patchouli with soft spices, even though no spices mentioned in the notes, and a smooth balsamic, intense, ambery base. It has a bit of rose scent lurking in the background, I guess it came from the geranium/rose combo listed in the heart notes. But overall it smells like a very luxurious patchouli, with impressive longevity and strong to moderate sillage. Sebastian from the Perfume Guy, recommends this scent every time he speaks about patchouli, and he speaks highly of it. So I was naturally interested to try Psychedelique. And I am not disappointed with how it smells, it’s a phenomenal patchouli fragrance! From my personal collection, when I sprayed Psychedelique on my hand, I was reminded instantly of Patchouliful by Laboratorio Olfattivo. The way that patchouli is done in here, it’s exactly like in Patchouliful. Very comparable fragrances in my experience! So, if like me, you have than one, you don’t need Psyhedelique! And as a tip, Patchouliful is cheaper than Psyhedelique. But they are both amazing patchouli perfumes, no matter what you choose! Cannot comment on similarities with the others scents listed in the reminds me of section, because I am not familiar with any of them..

Update: Tested it again and got earth and petrichor and dark chocolate! The patchouli was strong on the second wearing and I love it even more. The dry down is so good I can't stop sniffing my wrist! I have a tester and I'm about to get a full bottle. This is amazing if you enjoy patchouli. The first burst of notes is deceptive because I got a face full of hippie handbag, the worst sort of patchouli. It almost immediately begins transforming into this fragrant, cool yet sultry patchouli and amber concoction with fragrant florals. There is the slightly leather note that complements the other notes so perfectly. I can only assume this is the labdanum? This perfume is just powdery and perfect. Perhaps I have been living under a rock but I have not smelled a patchouli this good before. I don't know why this is listed as being more masculine. I think it's a perfect unisex fragrance and I'm not generally one who goes for more masculine scents. I don't get the chocolate cake or dirt some of the others have but I'm not complaining. There is that slight 'vintage' vibe but the patchouli is so good I am willing to forgive anything.

ive been trying to smell this masterpiece for ages but never got to it, i stumbled upon jovoy at doha and i must say i was completely blown away at first sniff, purchased instantly. One of the best patchouli’s i’ve ever smelt, certainly the best of the amber-patchouli genre...indeed multifaceted, theres earthy, damp woods/soil, warm chocolatey creaminess, and ofcourse an intense and rich warm, balsamic amber. topped off with some soapiness (like coromandel but less intense), but its so smooth and well blended. idk if this is relateable but have u ever smelt old clothes/sheets taken out of a wooden closet? The dry down here kinda smells like that on my skin, at a glance. it has an antique woody vibe, very nostalgic! It doesnt necessarily strike me as dark as it does for others - it leans dark yes but nothing crazy; its sweet but not as sweet as coromandel...i think this is a perfect concoction, very well balanced, nicely rounded, sultry, unique, and intriguing. definitely best for cooler temp, unisex

A bonafide patchouli classic. A must have for any serious collector. Opens with some citrus then you get a huge a patchouli bomb supported by some vanilla and a slight amber accord. Sillage is off the charts. To me this is reminiscent of hollywood before color pictures or perhaps the very early days of color. It's charming and overtly sexual but elegant more of a fine dining experience than a night out on the town. I guess both men and women can wear this but it does wear better on women. A serious alternative to try is Atelier Des Ors Cocoa Kimiya for a slightly more gourmand direction. I wouldn't bother Reminiscence or Profumum Roma's patchoulis Jovoy has both of them beat and the price is more than fair. I've had this since 2019 and probably bought 4-5 bottles of this concoction. As I said to me this is as iconic as No. 5, Coromandel, Ambre Sultan, Portrait of a Lady and Guerlain's Insolence EDP. All of which are category defining scents.

What the heck! This might just turn me into a patchouli-head! This is incredibly well-made. And I don’t say this lightly because I’m not typically drawn to patchouli or wear patchouli-dominant perfumes, but I appreciate well-crafted ones like Armani’s Indigo Tanzanite. However, this, is truly captivating! It’s so smooth, rounded and elegant, with an addictive chocolate-cakey undertone. Gosh, what a masterful patchouli, arguably the best in its class! While I’m deeply impressed, my personal taste hasn’t yet evolved to the point where I’d comfortably wear loud patchouli perfumes but I’m optimistic that my olfactory preferences will mature over time, and when they do, I’ll immediately invest in a full bottle of Psychedelique. Jovoy has undeniably created a masterpiece. For devoted patchouli lovers, this perfume will likely be the ultimate find!

Patchouli in the top, patchouli in the heart, patchouli in the base. I picked up a small 15ml bottle from Jovoy, London--whose staff are incredible and incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and attentive btw--based on nothing but reviews and the opening (which is borderline a blind buy). This fragrance is everything I wanted: a patchouli bomb; it's dry as patchouli often is--to me--but there's a real creaminess to this perfectly gender neutral EDP smoothed out with an ambery base, and some kind of iso e giving that woody skin scent never letting go of that patchouli from start to finish. The longevity is insane. Beautiful. Wearing this after a few days of not, induces that close of the eyes, deep sigh, smile that I need from a fragrance. Warm cuddly patchouli cushion. Clean. 1-2 sprays. Lovely. Thanks, Jovoy. 10/10

This along with Incident Diplomatique was gifted to me by a friend, both full 100mls and I just realized that I’m a huge Patchouli Lover. Psychedelique to me and on my skin is this beautiful earthy, sweet, kinda chocolatey, warm, spicy, woody with a touch of citrus that gives it a little bright feel to it. Definitely not blind buy safe and not for everyone. When I first got it I’m not gonna lie, at first I was like HELL NAH but after letting it sit and smelling it here and there it started to grow on me and I love it. Very unique and different but sexy, elegant with this rugged bad boy/bad girl feel if that makes sense lol Damn this is good!! Performance on my skin is amazing!! This is not the patchouli scent that reviews made it out to be. Ill always have a soft spot in my heart for patchouli after seeing Jerry Garcia for so many years. Its a faint reminder of the jams and the hot women with dreads. This however is not it and I am now convinced that the natural oil is the only one that would take me back. This however is my favorite patchouli fragrance. Sure it has that earthy patchouli feel that I am looking for, but its a modern take on it. Its blended to perfection with the amber and vanilla and I perceive it as quite powdery. The performance is outstanding as well! The projection is perfect with 2 sprays and it just creeps outside the scent bubble. Patchouli is a polarizing scent and I don't wish to fill rooms with it. 8.5/10 and full bottle worthy.

I agree, this is pure love. It is quite possible that I now have THE patchouli scent that I've been searching for. Dark, sweet, thick, smoky patchouli-amber with unquestionable quality of ingredients. Sillage is about medium on me and longevity impressive, over 12 hours on my cardigan and still going strong. The labdanum and musk play supporting roles and show up more frequently in the drydown than the opening. Having done a side by side comparison with Reminiscence Patchouli and Patchouli Elixir, although the Rems being gorgeous patchouli in their own right, do not hold a candle to the opulent and intriguing Psychedelique. Not on my skin at least. What a beautiful name for a beautiful scent. I have ended my search for the perfect patchouli for me here.

I've been so in love with this fragrance. For years. If anyone in Canada wants to swap, hmu. I have years of swap experience. 22/5/25 ETA; this fragrance remains tenacious at the top of my wish list. 10/6/26 ETA; Finally acquired this about seven months ago. It's everything I imagined & more. Top 10 worthy, 100%. It is powerful. It will fill a room. Be aware of your sprays. It's like everyone says; chocolate patchouli & so much more. Not generic milk chocolate. Like slightly dusty cocoa. Wrapped around a heady patch. In an artistic & classy way. There's more to it but I cannot add anything that hasn't already been said. Was fortunate to obtain it just before the bottle design change. Curious to know if they kept the same extravagant, glorious 'recipe'.

Exactly as 'greensandgourmands' mentioned three comments below, the opening is a wonderful strong earthy patchouli. The huge issue is that it goes away after an hour or two and then it just becomes a very sweet and slightly boozy heavy vanilla amber. What a shame, as a huge patchouli head, this one has a lot of hype around it. Some people consider it the go-to patchouli for patchouli lovers, and at first that's arguably true, but it's a real shame that the strong patchouli goes away to a generic sweet vanilla. Sigh. Something similar happens with Coromandel (in its own way) but at least it retains some of the eathiness. This one doesn't. The new 75ml bottle is gorgeous, at least - the only reason why I'm keeping my bottle, for now.

Thick amber accented by jammy florals, patchouli envelops this earthy composition for a complete, natural smelling oriental that also smells like a fine fragrance at the same time. Vanilla appropriately sweetens it up. I don’t really get anything smoky here. There really is a dense, jammy quality about this.. there’s nothing effervescent and airy... this is for those who want a heavier-duty fragrance. Dries down into a luxurious vanilla. If you love thick, dark, full-throttle oriental smells and French perfumery, you might love it! Feels like a good mashup of both. Sample it, this isn’t safe to splurge on. Fine fragrance and natural smell, 2-in-1. Lasts and lasts and projects and lasts. 9/10

The opening is indeed very challenging, you must really like patchouli -- medicinal, earthy, aromatic --- to withstand the initial blast. Around the mid, it smells of cement after an afternoon drizzle. There is a hint of the smell of cheesy feet which fades quickly. Just hold on and be patient because the dry down is where the chocolatey patchouli unfolds. I love it despite the rough opening and mid. I no longer feel the need to get Coromandel; to me it's quite redundant despite being very different. Blooms on my skin in the heat even though I think wearing it in summertime will be very cloying. Made one tiny spray on my arm and I get whiffs of creamy chocolate every now and then.

Among the patchouli perfumes that I have and there are many of them, Psychedelic has the first rank, the reason for this rank is the excellent feedback it has given me from others. And another reason is my different perceptions of this work, it always looks different to me. Sometimes beautiful and happy and pleasant but with maintaining dignity and character ,sometimes lonely and sad 🎭.To me it's more of a psychic playing with your psyche (character similar to Dr. Hannibal Lecter👤) 😉.The scent does not have a stop mode and will change according to the conditions. It has high performance and is worth buying of course, if you like patchouli

The one stop (head)shop of patchouli fragrances. Among the top tiers of patch (SMN, Reminiscence, Profumum, Borneo 1834, Coromandel), Psychedelique hits the sweet spot. It highlights the deep green undergrowth, the minty camphor, and the cool damp earth. On top, Jovoy pours in a delicious and smooth melty amber. When mixed with the dark cocoa patchouli, a photorealistic Lindor caramel filled truffle jumps into my mind. Its undoubtedly semi-gourmand, but the pure patchouli accord keeps it from being cloying. Despite the name calling to mind 70s hippie culture and hallucinogenics, Psychedelique is certified bougie: rich, smooth, refined.

I love patchouli- and yummmmmm. This is straight up, top shelf patchouli essential oil "neat"; whereafter about 10 mins a nougat-like, tobacco-y vanilla adds familiarity, warmth, and depth. I get absolutely no citrus or rose at all; and struggling to believe anyone who says they do, unless it's a different batch altogether. If I really put my nose up to it I get a gentle bite of geranium; for listed notes, that is all. As for unlisted, I get birch- which gives Psychedelique a mildly smoky overtone. It's gorgeous. A bold patchouli oil + vanilla incense fragrance for honest to God patchouli devotees. How I do love this.

This fragrance is a signature scent worthy. During the initial spray, it is not a scent to which one should put their nose, rather it smells great in the air during those initial hours. It leaves a beautiful scent trail. If sniffed closely you will smell that very green patchouli that everyone may not like. After a couple of hours, this scent becomes so beautiful. Patchouli becomes Boozy and chocolaty and the scent becomes delicious. To me it smells like chocolate syrup mixed with booze. I enjoy every bit of this and definitely recommends. 10/10 scent. For patchouli lovers it is 20/10 scent 😄

I wasn't sure about this with the first spray, as it's very boozy and sharp. After a few minutes it calms down and starts to turn into a beautiful, smooth patchouli brownie. It kind of reminds me of a chocolate Tootsie pop in a bag of earthy patchouli. One spray is all you need. I'm liking it more and more on my skin. Perfectly unisex in my opinion, although it is on the sweeter side, so if you don't love sweeter fragrances, maybe steer clear. But if you love a chocolate-cakey patch, this is a must try. Definitely not blind buy safe, as this won't be everyone's cup of tea.

This one is kind of a journey to me, at first i smell a little touch of citrus aroma, kind of a tiny lemon pop, but one minute after is full patchouli. It feels very sexy, chocolaty, not annoyingly sweet but creamy. It starts more sweet and creamy, almost fruity and becomes woodier during the dry down, the labdanum gives a leathery vibe to balance things. I confess at first try I associated it with the hippies but is so much more than that. Had to buy a full bottle, it’s on the way. 12 h longevity 2-3 h for greater projection, not a beast mode by any means.

One of the best patchouli frags I've ever smelled. It's intoxicating. When I wear it, I cannot stop smelling my wrist. It projects for hours and strong. The amber note is not overly balsamic and blends beautifully will the rest of the notes to make this masterpiece. Geranium and white musks give it a soapy twist in a very good way. So although it's a heavy resinous woody patchouli scent but also gives me a clean soapy feeling that I really really like. If you like Nasomatto Pardon and/or l'instant de Guerlain then this is a must to try fragrgrance.

Best blended patchouli I have ever smelled! Very woody but there is a sparkling cuddly amber and sweet, lasting and very gourmand vanilla. The fragrance is rated more as a unisex but to me it is mostly feminine. Superb quality, suitable for the cold winter evenings when you might want to wrap a huge, soft scarf around your shoulders and spray this magical rich potion all over. I can feel resemblance to Barenia by Hermes and Crush on me by Unique’e, however Psychedelique undoubtedly wins the patchouli race for me!

The opening is heavy dark patchouli amber and woody then it settles down slowly to this earthy balsamic patchouli. It's like when it starts raining in a forest at night and the rain hits the tree branches and then fall down the black soil, some might say a bit chocolaty. Now as a fan of patchouli I see why Psychedelique is getting praised! it's a sophisticated patchouli bomb well blended with a good longevity! one of my favorites for sure, But if you don't like patchouli don't come near it.

Wow, what a unique fragrance. Saying out loud the name in a French accents feels cool and funny at the same time :D The scent: powerful patchouli, but in a modern way. My first impression was the first few minutes are a bit overpowering, a bit medicinal, a bit challenging. But after a few tries I love the whole thing. The drydown is heavenly. Boozy, kinda sweet, patchouli, amber. You can still smell the amber on you next day. I wish it had a good clone because it's expensive for my wallet.

Fantastic amber forward fragrance. Really can't stop sniffing it. Fantastic throughout. My first from Jovoy and I am impressed. Lasts for several hours. If it had a tad more projection, I wouldn't know what to do with myself. Exceptionally smooth. Unfortunately, I only had a small sample. Enough for one wear. I certainly enjoyed it. The only thing that was amiss, is that I didn't pick up on any of the geranium. Not a bad thing but geranium is a favorite of mine. Still, this is quite nice.

Love at first sniff for me because it smells just like my favorite beer of all time (of all things) - Omnipollo Gimbagagompa imperial stout; sadly discontinued and sorely missed, like so many good things in life. That smell of coffee, oat granola and dark chocolate - I just love it! So glad to have this as a throwback to that incredible beer and all the wonderful memories that came with it. If you enjoy Mugler A*men, then there's a good chance you'll enjoy this to :)

Psychadelique is what made me fall in love with patchouli. Initial large blast of this rich citrus, patchouli and amber- drying down to a darker more musky and earthier patchouli. There is a damp/dank nature to this perfume which I really enjoy. Price is a bit expensive but I actually would pay for a full bottle (though my 15ml seems to last because of the crazy longevity and projection). Definitely a winter/fall fragrance, my go to for hiking and stuff.

This is what I’ve been looking for! Dirty hippy patchouli with sweet musky dry down. I want to bathe in it. I have a 5ml decant and I will definitely be buying a full bottle. As someone mentioned below, it opens pretty sharp but that immediately settles into sexy hippy. I’m so happy this lived up to my expectations! I don’t feel like I’m getting crazy longevity, but maybe I am going a little nose blind to it. And I love it so much I’ll just reapply.

Don't blind buy this. Anyways... This is my favorite perfume, but it is not loved by all. On the contrary, I know more people who hate it than love it. To me it smells like dark chocolate and the medicinal herbs of a wise elder. It doesn't smell young, or modern, but it heals my soul in a way. I get the same mental relaxation from smelling this as I get when I smell lavender. Prepare for people to tell you you smell like a grandma. Love it!

This perfume opens up with a beautiful, strong patchouli that I really wish would last longer. It quickly dries to a sweeter vanilla base with little of the earthiness promised in the opening. It reminds me of Lord of Misrule by Lush, just without the kick of the pepper. To me this is a true unisex. Despite my slight criticism, I've tried a bunch of other choco-patchoulis and amber patchoulis and this one is THE fragrance of the category.

Incredible, incredible, incredible, INCREDIBLE! The OG patchouli fragrance. Flawlessly executed and incredibly well blended creation. If you haven’t smelled it yet, you should. If you have smelled it before then you should smell it again. I’m personally not a big advocate for people having “signature scents”, but if there was ever a fragrance that qualified as one, this would be it. Happy to add it to my collection.

I love it -- bought it as a gift for a patchouli lover and I think she will be pleased. Starts with a strong hit of booze but that fades quickly. It's very warm and chocolatey but without being too sweet -- more like a cocoa powder than milk chocolate. It has a subtle earthy quality that makes it very interesting, sort of organic like mushrooms or soil. It's lovely, I might get a second one for myself.

A killer Patchouli with longevity that may well outlive the wearer! There is nothing hippy-like about this Patch. It has that decadent, dark chocolate delightfulness that I've previously found in Borneo 1834 , but here it's amped up to the level of 90% intensity. It is accompanied by an amber/labdanum heart which anchors the scent sensation and amplifies the general sense of earthy, damp luxuriousness.

Got a full bottle even before I finished my decant. I love it very much I can't stop sniffing it, the patchouli is quite dark & chocolaty but its blended with ambery orange makes it a bit easier to wear, still it feels like an expensive night fragrance, I'd like to try a couple sprays to wear as an office scent. Definitely a signature scent type of perfume. Aiming for 21 conduit st next.

The best patchouli fragrance- that earthy, warm and slightly sweet type of patchouli. I am a hippie chick when I wear it, and I love it. It is elegant too - Rose nuances and a slightly smoky air. It must smell like chocolate because when I was in line at the store, some gals commented on someone smelling like chocolate. A bottle of this is in my future after I use my sample.

@medwatt Hello, this is a problem with your nose, maybe your nose is used to the scent, I have the old and the new version, both are bombs. After some time, the human nose gets used to the strongest scents and will not notice the scent as it did the first time. To prove it, do not use the desired perfume for a while so that your nose forgets it.

this is the best patchouli scent in the world. with Psychedelique i fell in love with patchouli. damp moldy patchouli along with earthy fusty ccacao and nice smooth amber creates one of the most iconic scent ever. specialy the older baches has a kinda darker a little earthier feel. this is defenately a good referance for pachouly scents.

This has quickly become my favorite bottle on my shelf. I'm a patchouli lover in general, and those deep, dark, chocolatey patchoulis have my whole heart. The addition of the citrus notes at the top gives this a beautiful complexity that makes me want to wear it constantly. It's dark and earthy, chocolatey, vanillic, but also bright.

THE patchouly fragrance, godfather of all patchouly! i feel like this and profumum roma's patchouly smell very very similar to each but while the profumum roma stays on the dry side, this one seems abit more lush and creamy with this sort of liquor facet about it. truly love the way it eminates out of me.

wow this smells extraordinary. It reminds me of something sweet that i possibly ate in my childhood but i can remember what exactly.The scent is rather linear (but it is a good thing in this case) its very base heavy but it still has very strong sillage. It kind of reminds me of pardon but is much nicer

Love this. Close up it has the damp earth patchouli smell, but it is very 'chocolate cake' from a distance. Was a love at first sniff and I normally dont like patchouli. Performance could be better, I dont agree with these 'beast mode' reviews I hear/see... it performs 'ok'.

I'm tripping balls, man! But seriously, smelling this fragrance is an experience you won't forget. This is a masterful patchouli-centric composition with creamy vanilla, strong amber and labdanum. Don't confess your love for patchouli unless you have this in your collection!

Ambery, golden, dark, rich, opulent...Gothic. A patchouli lover's wild dream. There is a smoky aspect which reminds me of Shalimar as well. I might have hit the jackpot with my amber perfume quest. If you love Coromandel and Noir de Noir, you will fall in love with this.

Was looking for a sub for my almost empty bottle of Nasomatto - Pardon and found this so I blind bought it in hopes that it might be similar or better.. I was not disappointed! My nose gets the damp earthy smell with a dark chocolatey tone in the dry down. Love it!
