Hisui (Jade)

All fragrances in this line are pretty poor performers, and are fairly linear. However they are extremely photorealistic to what they claim to portray, and this scent is no different. It smells EXACTLY how you imagine Jade to smell. I never wear this, I just spray it to feel nostalgic about Japan.

Beautiful and clean - truly a white tshirt fragrance. It is a bit soapy and creamy at the same time. Very unisex. It’s not super unique however it is pretty and for the price point you truly can’t go wrong. This is a safe blind buy in my opinion.

An elegant perfume with tuberose as the main character here. The opening is clean and fresh, with slight sweetness. I also get some green notes which brings more freshness. Tuberose is already very detectable from the initial spray. At this stage it feels like you are at the entrance of a garden and you have just pushed the door open. It's pleasant and calming. Then it welcomes you with a white flower bomb. Tuberose gets stronger and stronger, together with other white flowers. It is floral and indolic. I can understand it may drive many people away, especially if they do not appreciate white flowers. To some people, it may smell stinky as it develops. I get some green nuance too, which really helps to "lighten up" the scent. Otherwise it would become too much like an "old lady" smell in my opinion. It creates a vivid picture of a garden full of white flowers. Afterwards I start getting something powdery. White flowers remain dominant, well mixed with this powdery smell. It smells elegant, even seductive. The drydown is just beautiful. It is creamy, floral and a bit sweet. It is the right amount of sweetness and creaminess that does not make you feel too heavy or cloying.

Smells a bit like Opus Kore by Vilhelm. Quite a few similar notes, but this smells a bit more green and bright, most likely due to the cassis. This is like a floral clean laundry scent. Nice, pretty, and good for spring and summer. It just isn’t a scent profile I am particularly in love with, but it's not bad by any means. If you like soapy/shampoo-like scents, you will love this.

The opening really takes me right into a hair salon. Like a high-end Aveda salon that use quality products. Hisui plays in the border between creamy and fresh. Tuberose, almond, soft musk and citrus notes. But everything is blended way that the notes comes out linear. Feminine, quiet, clean and truly pleasant. A fragrance you can use every day. Easy to like.

Freshly laundered linen, neatly folded after drying outside on a clothesline. There’s a damp earthiness in the background, from a soft touch of oakmoss, giving it a slightly weighty, atmospheric feel.

Voted more masculine leaning. This is what the luxury men’s clothing department smelled like at the mall during the late nineties/early aughts. What a memory!

Hisui reminds me of Dior Lucky. A lily of the valley bomb. Especially in the opening. As it developed it became a biting green soapy fragrance. I could see a man wearing this. It reminds me of classic male fragrances that were heavy with lily of the valley, green and ozonic notes and oakmoss. I would actually prefer this on a man but my husband disagrees with me and thinks it is female. It also reminds me of the Gucci Bloom flanker that is the greener floral. I forget the name of the flanker, god curse flankers... Anyway, this is a sharp green floral of yesteryear. A tad postmodern take on fragrances like Vancleef First as well. If you like green florals with heavy lily of the valley and oakmoss give this a try.

'bitter, green and slightly soapy' is a really good description for this scent. not getting much of the florals. unisex leaning masculine. there's something unpleasant in the drydown, bitter and dry, and pungent and 'stinky'

this is so pretty. I don't find this masculine. I find it soap and clean. Another great option for spring / summer. The lasting power is not the strongest, it's great for a hot day.

Wow, this is really beautiful. It is soapy and a bit masculine, but there’s also something green, powdery and gentle that makes it unisex. Very fresh and clean. I may love this.

Unisex, mossy, calm soapy scent. A little bit strong on my skin but still worth it trying.
