Tsukishizuku (Mother Of Pearl)

This is the most exquisite fragrance I've experienced in a very long time. From the first sample, I simply had to own it. I could only describe it as transcendent. It possesses a delicateness that sets it apart from Western fragrances. It was apparent to me immediately that it was created with an Eastern aesthetic. The floral notes are expertly blended in a perfectly symphonic display of olfactory understanding. There is an authenticity, a freshness, a natural beauty to this perfume that is incredibly rare, even in niche perfumery. I hope to never be without this resplendent perfume.

Tsukishizuku is my first ever perfume love, and is my signature scent, so this review may be a tad biased XD It's this beautiful shimmery, aquatic jasmine and tuberose fragrance that really is true to its name! It's shimmery, bright, feminine (though perfume has no gender), and beautiful! It has this mouthwatering, juicy sweetness from le lectier pear, but it isn't overly sweet, even with the tuberose. Even though it has all of these amazing fruity and floral notes, it's also sparkly, elegant, and clean. My roommate told me I smelled like I came out of the sea.

Beautiful. I don't really like bubble gummy tuberose fragrances and this one is lightened by the pear and citrus notes. Very natural-smelling.

Tsukishizuku smells lively and adorable (and energetic!) with strong bubblegummy tuberose. It also smells delicious, which makes me want to bite into whatever making that smell... although I do think it smells a bit synthetic at first sniff, giving me a tiny headache. I love this scent though, so I'd endure that little tradeoff. Kinda smells like a body wash, and there's also a citrusy presence that immediately unclogs my nose. I was a bit apprehensive at first because it might smell granny-like (bc of the name...) but not at all. The scent is young and happy, slightly sexy? I like to wear it whenever I'm wearing smth cute but feeling a bit showoff-y. It's a very linear and bold scent. Tbh, doesn't really change with time; the tuberose lingers for the whole duration, so there's a pro/con associated with that but overall, I like it!

None of the notes stand out on their own for me because, somehow, it smells exactly like the metaphysical shop in my hometown. What an olfactory memory! It transports me to browsing around the shop with my friends in high school. For that reason, I love it. I probably won't go FS but I will definitely cherish the sample while I have it.

This many floral notes would usually send me packing immediately. I got a sample from a friend, and was delighted to find that this scent was enjoyable. I would not buy it but I wore the sample happily, and ended up designating it as a bedtime scent--soothing and happy, a bit too soft for my daytime life.

Yes a little bubblegummy at first and I wouldn't be a fan of that in normal circumstances, but it is so elegantly done here. Smells like visiting a lush flower show with vibrant colors everywhere, next to a pretty lake. This brings me peace.

Most realistic pear note I’ve smelled so far and you get it immediately when sprayed. It is soon overpowered by the white florals. I get some citrus musk and rose. Mainly just florals notesZ very strong

Ohhh no. I’m pretty disappointed. This smells like the super medicinal cough syrup plus used litter box for the first ten minutes. It heads toward a bubble gum tuberose after that. This isn’t for me.

Harsh plastic dipped in white florals and sour pear. 🤮.

I enjoy white florals a lot, but this is not a scent for me personally. To me, it feels super clean and fresh. It reminds of the feeling of being clean after a shower. Perhaps, because it smells like body wash. I am not sure what note is making that association for me because I don't experience that with other citruses. Maybe the pear? To me the wonders of the florals are obscured by this shampoo like smell. The smell is really nice, but I can't get over the association. Probably a personal preference, and I see why someone would love this smell.

never got the bubblegummy smell of tuberose until i came across this scent. bubblegum heavy in the beginning but there is also the freshness of the pear with it. but, there is something bitter/metallic to my nose as it dries down? i don't know if i like it as much as i was expecting to but will be using as a night time perfume!

In the bottle this smelled like very bubblegummy tuberose to me, now it's a nice, light, jasmine-magnolia (and tuberose). Fresh, not overpowering (though I do get whiffs of indolic-animalic notes in it).

I’m really surprised by how much I dislike this sample. It smells like bubble gum and cough syrup and pear. I don’t think I like pear.
