Tsutaju

The opening is similar to Zegna Uomo but Tsutaju goes to a brighter,sunnier and ozonic direction after that. It reminds me of the smell of a dense forest in the summer after rain or humid indoor botanical garden. Overall very sophisticated and safe office scent for the whole year. Unique offering from J-Scent that doesn't smell like anything else they (or any other house) have for sale. Ozonic, green, watery(not marine) in that order is how i would describe it. I agree with the review above that it has this cucumber like watery fresh note. The packaging says it has underlying tone of aged black ink that i don't get at all. On the other hand it's not mentioned on the actual note breakdown on the package.

This started with a brut style of amber powder smell. After awhile, the amber powder went to the back and the violet came forward. At this point the smell in the air is mostly an ozonic violet green smell. Kinda reminds me of Aqua Fahrenheit. There is a little jasmine that makes its self known in the air too. Up close you can still get a slight amber powder smell but it’s a mostly green almost cucumber like smell. Projection is on the lighter side which I expected from this brand. Longevity is decent. Overall, i'd say it’s a good scent for spring. Edit: looks like I judged it too soon. Firstly projection is actually pretty good and longevity is good too. Secondly, it’s been 7 hours and I can still smell it projecting but at this point, it’s got a Xerjoff Nio/John Varvatos Artisan kind of bright beautiful effervescent smell. Really nice perfume that changes quite a bit from opening to dry down.

A very elegant and refined smelling fragrance. It makes me picture an abandoned library that has been overtaken by nature. A very natural and fresh smelling perfume with a touch of earthiness from the oakmoss. There's a subtle warmth in the background and a slight softness from a blush of violets which really helps round the fragrance out. Not an everyday wear for me personally, but definitely something that I can appreciate. Very pretty!
