Hollywood Royal

Hollywood Royal is one of the most difficult to find juicy coutures here and it's been a while that I've decided to collect juicy couture perfumes so when I saw a bottle in a perfume shop I bought it immediately and unsniffed. 2.5 oz was priced 57$ and by looking at foreign perfume sites I can see that it's twice more expensive than it's real price but I knew that I can't find any better deal here First test was a huge disappointment.I would give it back if there was a return policy and I wasn't shy.I think I was disappointed because comparing to my imaginations it was very white floral and not enough gourmand.it's white floral heart was like a less aquatic/ozonic,more sweet juicy couture juicy couture and paris hilton fairy dust.actually I could detect something aquatic,ozonic here too but I didn't know which note to blame Fortunately my feeling changed gradually.now I really like it and I'm very happy to own it.I think I'm going to wear it a lot during this spring and summer.it's a beautiful perfume and I can't believe I didn't like it at first sniff.it opens with fresh and bright fruits but soon white florals take the stage while there's still a hint of fruits present in background.white flowers are creamy but also truely fresh and airy.tuberose,jasmine and gardenia play their roles to create a white floral accord with no emphasize on it's components.it becomes a bit warm as it dries down.white florals are still the main actors but they're in a base of soft,fluffy,clean and slightly powdery sweetness.marshmallow,vanilla and musk don't try to cover florals.they just add this sweet and clean powder puff to white flowers-light fruits combo.it's a soft and pleasant scent.very feminine,ageless and easy to wear.longevity is about 6 hours on my skin and sillage is soft to moderate in most of it's life span All in all I love this brand's bottles and Hollywood royal is no exception.it's one of the prettiest bottles I have.If marshmallow and vanilla were amped up I could call it my number one favorite JC perfume.for now I can say that I prefer it to original JC It's a good choice if you want a white floral perfume which isn't heady and heavy and mature,something easy to wear even by younger generation

The first time I wore this was in the winter. The beginning was so bad but the dry down was heavenly. I ended up getting rid of it though cuz I didn't want to wait for the dry down. I just bought it again to see if I'd like it better now. It's a cool spring day and the sugary marshmallow is cute at first. I'm waiting to see if this will resemble the original juicy couture, as that is my number one fragrance in all the world! But no. It's actually a deep dark musky spun sugar. Nothing like I remember from a few years ago. I got gorgeous floral last time. This time it's deep, dark, fruity musky sugar bomb. And there's nothing that reminds me of original jc. I really love Katy Perry meow and purr but I hated them at first as I bought them in wa4m weather. I found that meow sings beautifully in fall and purr must be warm in middle of winter to be at her best. I'll have to try this in different weather's to find out when she's at her best. And although she's not like original jc she is pretty enticing, but id compare this to sure, the dry down in this weather like a beginning spark of jc sucre.

Blind buy at Ross was like $14. for 1.3oz and omg I LOVE this perfume! To me it smells like if you took viva la juicy and added lemon sugar cookie fragrance oil to it. Might not sound great but boy it smells awesome. Not sure what else to say, I will be buying a backup bottle of this in case they discontinue it. This is my third Juicy Couture perfume, I love viva la juicy and also viva la juicy gold couture, will be trying others from this house since have not let me down yet. While I say it smells like they added a lemon sugar cookie to this I dont think I smell like a lemon sugar cookie wearing it lol if that makes any sense. Oh and there is marshmallow in there too I think but still it is just lovely. I say give it a try and to me age is irrelevant, I'm a little older and still rock some of the younger scents, I'm 56.

I have been obsessed with the Juicy fragrances since they launched. JCJC was SO DIFFERENT from anything on the market at the time.. fresh subtly sexy, I was coming off a long obsession with Hilfiger True Star and this was such a breath a fresh air. THe first thing to draw me to Hollywood Royal (JCHR) was the flacon. THE STARS GOT ME. thankfully the fragrance was beautiful- the white florals sophisticated and clean with the fruits and marshmallow making it playful and extravagant. This is what I imagined a walk on the red carpet should smell like. When I wear this, people stand closer. Women ask if I'm wearing pheromones because it's just that alluring.

55 degrees Fahrenheit, coming out of winter and this lady is at her FINEST! I’m in Minnesota. Climate, temperature and season make a huge difference in how a perfume performs- as in which notes come out to play and how they dance together. This one has never changed, she loves early spring weather. Very short window to wear this one. Definitely try it fresh out of winter in cold climates. It’s magical! Can’t even pinpoint a note they blend so well at this time of year. Gourmand floral sweetness with a richness and scrumptious delight- I want to spray it all over my bed and roll in it like a cat does with scattered catnip.

FINALLY found my juicy (and I've tried several). This one is ethereal and angelic. After the major portion of the fruit dissipates, the drydown is soft, very feminine, and creamy, neither too youthful nor too mature. The vanilla marshmallow combo is lovely. The apple and pear liven it up. The floral keeps it from smelling 100% like a food item. (although I love full blown gourmands...but I digress...) This has the marshmallow note I've been looking for. I thought I found it in Dolce and Gabana por femme, but there was something rough, itchy in there. This one is smooth. I'm very happy with this one.

I bought this the other day on ebay for 27.50 awesome deal and i got it in a 1.3 size that they do not sell at the store or online no this was no fake its smells beautiful at first I was going to pass on it but the same day I went into ulta to test it.. I also went to watch a movie and I could not stop smelling myself I asked my sister what was that smell and she said it was the perfume. SOLD!! I had to get it and I found a good deal so happy and surprisingly this last on me being a edt they dnt last to long but it did even on my cloths to me this is better then the o.g glad I got my perfume fix :)

Totz scored a 5 oz bottle on eBay for 25 bucks. Yay! Being that Hollywood Royal is pretty much the original Juicy, that I love and adore, lightened and fruitied up, I love it! It's heaven in a bottle to me. It's a juicy, pun intended, fluffy white floral. I. Love. This. Stuff. You do have to spray generously, being that it's a JC edt, so I fully expect to need more bottles of this beauty in the future. Haha! And in my opinion, Hollywood Royal beats Couture Couture, Couture La La, the two Malibu fragrances, and the new I Am Juicy Couture. Hands down! Bravo to this one JC!

I don't understand what other reviewers are smelling here So had to leave my own Review. First I love this perfume and will keep buying backups in case they Stop making it. To me it smells like they took Viva la Juicy and blended it with Lemon sugar cookies which must be the Pomelo note. I just Love it and I gifted this to a friend and she also Loves it. I don't get the cigarette or marshmallow or other stuff just VLJ with Lemon Sugar cookies So sweet and just beautiful. And longevity is Ok but I will respray because I like Strong Scents.

I found this at Winners for $30 (50 ML) and snapped it up blind. I tend to like most everything of Juicy Couture's, and "Juicy Couture" is one of my all-time favorites, though I tend to shy away from it because it projects so well and I don't feel it's office-friendly. This new edition completely fixes that! It has all the wonderful bright white flowers that I love so much about JC with the gentle sweetness of VLJ, and it's more transparent because it's an EDT. This is an absolute LOVE! Gorgeous fragrance, so glad I found it for a song!

LOVE. Soft, sweet but still fresh. Juicy apple, pear and tangy pomelo make a fresh opening, while white flowers and marshmallow are a match made in heaven filling out the base. Sillage is nice, enough to garner compliments. I can smell it on myself well enough to know I smell delicious. Lasting power could be better, it's not a powerhouse, but it doesn't underperform. A decent 6-7 hours wear. THE BOTTLE IS EVEN CUTER IN REAL LIFE. The heavy bottle and gold give it an expensive look and feel. All in all, my favourite from the J.C house.

I was pleasantly surprised by the sample of this perfume. Initially I mostly get a delicious marshmallow accord, with a strong note of candied apple and fresh pomelo, plus a touch of vanilla. Later, the floral notes join in, especially a surprisingly sensual and dark tuberose, which dominates the drydown, along with a spicy, warm, powdery woodsy aroma. Sillage is on the low end of moderate, making this OK for office wear with a very light application, while longevity is a bit better.

Let's get this out of the way- I LOVE IT. It's pretty, it's a little bit more complex than Viva La Juicy and the bottle is cute. It doesn't project far, and the longevity is x3 times longer on clothes than on skin. That would usually knock it down a few points in my eyes but...It's just too damn pretty. I got 2.5 oz on discount and I'm very pleased with it. I've been on a hit streak with blind buys and right now, I take what I can get. And what I got I could wear day or night.

I wore this today for the first time in a long time.And it always gets me compliments, and it never fails to bring a smile to my face.And people always tell me, I smell.So good and I love the bottle.Design, it is fun.It fits the theme of hollywood royal.The set in this bottle is artwork.Because it smells like the original juicy couture fragrance, and then it turns into its own thing.Whoever came up with this perfume deserves an award.It is perfect all year round

Hollywood is a soft,feminine floral fruity perfume. I mostly get the jasmine, the apple,the gardenia that brings that summery effect to the perfume. The vanilla,the marshmallow brings a little sweetness to the perfume. As for the pomelo it brings a little freshness to the perfume. The musk and cashmere is super soft in the fragrance. So mostly feminine and spring/summer fragrance.

Hollywood Royal is a creamy-rich tuberose gourmand. Gardenia plays a role too, likely giving it the creamy quality. Hollywood Royal reminds me of the original Juicy Couture but creamier and simpler, with a hint of tropical coconut, stays close to the body. A luscious intimate dessert fragrance for the tuberose lovers.

When I wear this it reminds me of Hole in the late 90s - 'Courtney Love chain smoking while thrift shopping in LA' is what I vibe when I wear this. Unique floral mix of gardenia and tuberose, sweet apple creamy cashmere marshmallow long live courtney love

Wonderful magical, young and alternative perfume for the summer! An aura of joy and carefree, this is a beautiful perfume! Juicy Couture perfumes never disappoint me! Sillage: 8./10 Longevity: 8./10 Scent: 9./10 Overall: 9./10

My boss bought me this since it was only $15 and I loved it at first spray! I'm not a huge floral fan but white florals are definitely something I like! The marshmallows come in so nicely at the end. Over all great scent! 🤍

Gorgeous inside & out! I bought this as a gift for my friend and whenever she wears it I can't believe I got it for her and didn't take it for myself! We all know that conundrum ;)

The notes sound very interesting, definitely gourmand and the bottle is so fabulous, can't wait to have it in my collection!

I didn't like it the first time I tried because I detected something aquatic and ozonic in it. but my rating went from dislike to meh, then to like and now it's a love for me! it's like a combination of milky white flowers(mainly gardenia)+marshmallowy sweetness + some fruity notes(mainly red apple). eventhough marshmallow adds some powdery sweetness,Hollywood Royal is not too sweet and the sweetness is airy and lightweight.freshness of fruity notes cuts through creamyness of white florals and make them feel more milky than creamy. this perfume is so springy and summery that I can't even imagine wearing it in fall or winter. it's bright, delightful and youthful yet ageless, clean and refreshing yet sweet and inoffenaive yet memorable. I highly recommend it if you're looking for a modern, easy to wear, springy white floral. it's like a white floral fragrance for beginners or a white floral perfume for white floral haters. it's a floral perfume but not too floral, fruity but not too fruity and gourmand but not too gourmand if it makes any sense. Royal Hollywood is like a love child of Juicy Couture Juicy Couture(airy white florals) and Viva la Juicy(yummy, girly sweetness). it stays about 5 hours on my skin and sillage is somewhere around two feet. I agree with the review likening this to apple shampoo--that's basically what this is, a clean but sweet predominantly apple scent with many supporting players. Apple note aside, none of the notes listed really stand out to me. I get sweetness, definitely, but it's not a marshmallow specific sweetness. Clean freshness, white florals, but not gardenia or jasmine in particular. Hollywood Royal is difficult to describe in terms of notes, but conjures images of the mid-2000s that sum up what this scent 'feels' like. This is probably what Paris Hilton smelled like while she wore dresses over flared jeans. That's not to say this JC flanker smells bad, but it's akin to other scents of that era. I think of Britney Spears' Curious, Bath and Body Works' Sweet Pea, and Victoria's Secret's Love Spell. This is a perfume-y perfume that's hyper feminine, sweet, and as someone else said, 'basic.' I didn't think I'd wear it much when I first smelled it, but it's growing on me as something easy to spray on warm days. Its soft sillage and poor lasting power are a saving grace, as HR would be cloyingly sweet otherwise. It performs like a body spray. I was gifted a huge 5 oz bottle of this stuff--it doesn't last when sprayed liberally on skin, but makes for a nice fabric freshener. I probably wouldn't have bought this for myself, but I'm happy to use it throughout the spring and summer. EDIT: Addictively pleasant! I find myself craving the sweet apple note in this fragrance... I also love that I can spray this liberally without much thought. One of my favorite perfumes to wear to bed.

Delicious, soft, unbelievably feminine. I fought with myself for weeks about buying this. My rational "we need to save money" side of my brain was saying no and my "yolo right?" Side was saying 'whats just one more ?' So, naturally, a massive 150ml bottle is now on my bathroom cabinet hahaaa. There's definately the signature white floral and citrus undertone of Juicy Couture in there,as with all of them but its been softened by the cashmere and marshmallow notes. It would be great if there was an edp or ' intense' version if this just to make the projection that bit stronger, but i like bold, in-your- face scents anyway. To be fair, i sprayed it on my arm then showered and scrubbed with a loofa and could still smell it after i got out so not bad really, especially for an edt. Starts off with the fruity citrus and apple, very quickly becomes a burst if white florals with still slight citrus, then dries down to an amazing creamy, sweet but still slightly powdery marshmallow and cashmere scent. No regrets here at all. Only negative here: the gold collar around the top of the bottle feels loose and cheap, luke if i pick it up wrong the bottle's gonna fall right out of it. But that does not have anytjing to do with the scent itself..i just hope i dont lose it all to my tiles one day

This is very much a candied, marshmallow-y tuberose scent on me, and a beautiful one at that. I'm actually surprised tuberose has been voted as one of the lesser notes. Anywhoo, this perfume is one of the more mature scents by Juicy Couture, but it still maintains their signature playfulness. The marshmallow is apparent from start to finish, and the apple and pear play their fruity roles. All of the notes mingle so nicely. It reminds me of a lighter, fluffier version of D&G's The One Desire, with marshmallow instead of caramel. I'm really liking this one! It's great for cooler/warm weather and bright sunny days, but I don't think it will work for me in the dead of Texas summer heat. Longevity is great on clothes, projection goes moderate to soft quickly. Update: The more I wear Hollywood the more I absolutely love it! On clothes it lasts all throughout my 10 hour work day; by the end I have to sniff up close, but hey(!), it's still there.

Initially I wasn't too impressed or pleased with this one, but giving it time to settle on my skin has changed my opinion. The opening is a huge, almost headache inducing blast of white flowers and then it quickly calms into familiar candied fruits with a dryer sheet musky base. I smell the vanilla and marshmallows wafting around and, although it isn't listed, I swear I smell a hint of caramel here, too. This faded on me within an hour, so longevity is seriously lacking. All in all, a nice 'youthful' fragrance, but not something you just have to run out and buy because honestly, this smells like a mishmash of all Juicy Couture fragrances to me, especially Viva La Juicy Gold Couture and Couture La La (it has the warmth of VLJGC and the almost too sharp freshness of CLL). Again, not bad, but I think Juicy needs to step up the game a little and maybe throw some spices in the mix (cinnamon or saffron perhaps)...

This one is very pretty. Not sexy, not deep, not offensive. Possibly a tad immature. But it's very pretty. Pretty and playful little gem. The main players in this composition are undoubtedly the apple and marshmallow notes. I do feel the gardenia and vanilla notes dancing around in the backround here which adds something nice. The gardenia here smells sweet...it plays very nicely with the marshmallow...almost amplifies it and it's sweetness. Longevity is average. About 4 hours. Sillage is on the lower end of average. About 2 feet. Overall Score - 7.5/10 Overall...I like this one. Nothing amazing but it is pretty and it's very carefree. One of those perfumes you'll reach for when you are in a rush or can't decide what you wanna wear. Also...a good choice for those of us who wake up and randomly crave something very sweet to wear for the day...this will fit the bill for sure as it's very sweet.

All I smell in this are the white flowers. I bought at tj max based on the notes. I don't see this as a gourmand at all, it is extremely floral, it gets a little creamy during the dry down but anytime I think I'm starting to smell vanilla or marshmallow I get hit with flowers. It's pretty, it smells like my gardenia candle, but its not sweet enough for me personally! Edit: after comparing it back to back with VS Bombshell Seduction, I can smell the sweetness! Wow! It's very faint! But sooooo pretty. I was smelling it after another perfume I just bought (Sweet by Lolita Lempicka) which is extremely sweet so I was blind to it. This is very a very classy perfume. I'm not going to be able to sell this now lol

This is an interesting scent, but I find that I like it. Initially I get a burst of pear mixed with something sweet (I’m assuming the candy apple). The fruit & sweet notes help balance out the white florals. I don’t get any vanilla here, but perhaps that will appear in the dry down. This perfume is nice & feminine. It’s a nice twist on a white floral scent. The apple comes out more as the fragrance dries down. I really like this one & I almost got rid of it. I’m glad that I didn’t. Also, I just realized what this reminds me of. It smells like my Cactus Blossom candle from B&BW. That’s definitely not off putting to me at all as I was thinking that I would love the body care items for that scent.

This is really great! I got this for $14 at Ross! Lol... at first I was afraid I wouldn’t like it because on the first spray all I could get was the white florals. And I really dislike strong white florals on myself, since they don’t suit what I like. Then I waited for it to settle and then the sweetness set in—the sweetness of the marshmallow and vanilla shone through and I was impressed! And as it dries down I get this delightful candy apple with a creamy musky dry down. It’s not a love at first smell... but love after you get past the white florals, for myself anyway. It’s perfect too because it’s not this strong fragrance... it’s really mellow but still you can smell it on your body.

This is really sparkling on top with a slight undertone of cigarettes and alcohol. I agree with the old Hollywood motel vibe, but to me it's subtle and intriguing, not off-putting. I wouldn't recommend this if you're really craving marshmallows and vanilla. You will probably be disappointed because they aren't very prominent. I think they just smooth it out and help it from being too tart and sour. Overall, I think this one is pretty darn cool for a Juicy fragrance! I am very wary of them as I haven't had much luck with them in the past. This reminds me a little of Victoria's Secret Angel Gold, but I like this one much better. It has more depth.

I wore this in fairly warm weather today (80F), and it was quite enjoyable and not cloying at all. It started out with tangy citrus-like fruit combined with vanilla. At no point did I feel I was wearing apple or pear as the notes suggest. I could smell some white florals in the heart, seemed like jasmine possibly mixed with gardenia. A few hours later what was left behind was a surprisingly musky base. I tend to like Juicy's perfumes. My favorite will always be Viva la Juicy, but I do like this. One spray on each wrist lasted several hours. I had no problem with sillage nor longevity. Like I said, not my favorite, but nice for summer.

I bought this truthfully because the bottle is so pretty. And a 5oz is just a steal for under $100 anywhere. But I'm so disappointed how the scent just dies on me! Maybe it will last better in the fall/winter. As its dead summer here and been rather humid lately. I've worn it to work several times. And I don't even smell it on it let alone receive any compliments :/ beautiful bottle and honestly the scent is nice. Fresh. Almost had a lemon vibe and just nice. Not too heavy either. But nothing. Maybe later in the year it will gain some attention or if I wear out at night. Just had high "wow factor" hopes.

I bought this one on a cruise yesterday for a very low price. I hope it will remind me of this awesome weekend when I wear it in the future. :) It got all the notes that I like: Marshmallow like D&G pour femme, Gardenia like Tocca florence, Green apple like Lush So white, and so on... I love it! It's not to complex but not to simple either. A mix of the original Juicy couture(too flower-y IMO) and Viva la juicy(too sweet) that goes great together and balances each other out very well. Great for both day and night(from experience ;)) and probably even greater in the summer.

Juicy Couture fragrances are consistently pretty good. This isn't one of the best for me, but it is a great addition to the collection. My favorite is the highly underrated JC Couture Couture which is brilliant. Hollywood Royal shares the JC DNA you would be familiar with if you have any of the Viva la Juicy range so if you like those flankers you will probably like this. I don't find I wear it as much as I thought I would and the staying power isn't as good as other JC fragrances but it is a great night time going out fragrance with the prominent juicy marshmallow notes.

I’ve only had this for a day and it is winter so this may test differently when it’s warmer outside which I think the fragrance is more suitable for. This smell s like a light version of Viva la juicy but with a slight sugar cookie note added. It is feminine and floral and not too sweet. I can’t see this offending anyone. It appears to be a skin scent and not very loud. Something I can see as a very easy daily reach in spring and summer. If you like the juicy dna this is a lighter flanker of their offerings.

OMG! This is a dead ringer for my very first perfume Tribe by Coty! It took me a few minutes to place it, but there it is.The pear really comes through and it reminds me of a creme brûlée with poached pears on top. It's fruity and creamy scent makes it a wonderful option for a young lady as a first fragrance. And the bottle is so fun! Not so much for anyone say over 35, but fun and nostalgic non the less. I would happily purchase this for my daughter as an entry to the world of fragrance.

I wore this yesterday to run an errand and to have lunch. It is very pleasant to the nose and has a wonderfully feminine, flirty dry down. It was a blind buy that I purchased at the end of the summer. I am thoroughly satisfied with it! It is not too complex, pretty easy going--perfect for a sunny, Sunday afternoon. The beautiful white flowers shine through and the vanilla and marshmallow notes give it modern day flair. I think this is a safe blind buy for all ages...

I smell citrus in the initial spray of this, which I suppose is the pomelo. I didn't even know that JC had a citrusy flanker. It has a similar heart to most of the other JCs, so if you've smelled one, you've pretty much smelled them all. They're all fairy decent. I'd assume that if you try one and like it, you've got at least a 70-80% chance that you'll like any of the others.

It smells very much like pear when I first spray it, and eventually dies down to a very sweet marshmallow smell. Definitely a creamy kind of scent, and most of the floral notes are unnoticable on me. As with all the Viva La Juicy perfumes I find it lasts a long time on me. It's a nice scent, but for me it was nothing super special.

Pleasant, I think it's more fruity sweet than floral. It almost comes off as a BBW body spray, but that's not a bad thing. I think you could actually find this perfume for cheaper than most body sprays. Bright and fruity. I don't regret this blind buy. I'd say this was worth the inexpensive price tag.

I found this on ebay for $14 and thought why not? It definitely has that Viva La Juicy DNA and I agree with other posters that the white florals are very prominent. I actually don't care for white florals or anything too floral, but this isn't bad at all. The dry down is soft and creamy.

I ordered this online. I read the Fragantica reviews. I do not regret buying this perfume. It's sweet and powdery.I get the floral notes. I really like this perfume. Though it does remind me of Katy Perry Purr.

This is a decent scent. I only get the floral notes from it, the jasmine backing up the gardenia quite nicely. Nothing makes it unique or really stand out though. It just is.

i'm getting apple and slightly powdered gardenia. I like it and got it for a steal, but I do wish it was more gourmand.

This is a nice perfume, but it's so soft and subtle that I can barely smell it on my skin.

Juicy Couture is like a gateway to fragrance for us middle/ lower class ladies. It's affordable and generally easy to find at incredible prices. The scents are usually leaning more youthful/juvenile although they do have some mature scents I enjoy. That being said, if you have a huge collection, this may not be a necessary add. I find that I very rarely reach for this fragrance and I've had it for about 4 years. I think I've used less than 5 ml of a 30 ml bottle. It smells good but it's nothing incredible, at least for me. The strongest and most visible of the notes is the pomelo and then the musk as it dries. The tuberose and apple is very subtle, I can't really pick them up. There is a slightly synthetic scent to this, almost like what a fruity hair oil would smell like. The dry down is soft & inoffensive, so if you are trying to find a fruity musky work/everyday scent , this may be a good option.

First whiff: Vanilla, rum, cigar and tobacco smoke, a tiny bit floral, but something is musty and smelling-off. Drydown: Smells like a cheaper old motel in Hollywood with faint smoke, carpet cleaner, decades of rum and perfumes soaked in somewhere under the floorboards, even though the place is clean. Faint fragrance, flimsy longevity. But it's definitely in possession of a very vivid scent image painted with this. I think of the Hollywood that silver screen era actors would have lived in. The title fits, but in a faded times-have-passed, haunting echo way. It's kind of neat. I also hope it never becomes the mainstream fragrance everyone wears so it stays special that way.

My friend sent me a sample decant. I am surprised because I like all of the notes listed (only one I could do without is pomelo), but the trio of Jasmine-gardenia-tuberose is just too much white florals for me. Normally I love a white floral, but this drowns out the fruit. The name does not match. Don’t get Hollywood; I get fairytale princess. Delicate, feminine, walking through flower garden.
