I Am Juicy Couture Dry Oil Shimmer Mist

Review is for my own reference - I was ecstatic to find this fragrance on a discount website (fragrancenet.com). I LOVE the way Subway White Chocolate Chip & Macadamia Nut cookies smell, and I've tried other beauty products with almonds that I fell in love with. When I searched macadamia and almond notes this came up. It's a nice tropical scent and the nuts do not smell stale, which I was a bit concerned about. I think it would be a nice comfy fall scent or great for a hot day at the beach! The bottle feels substantial and 'juice' are STUNNING <3 I can now understand why this was discontinued; the silage and longevity are VERY weak. I think it's due to it being a shimmer dry oil. It's supposed to cover a large part of your body so if it was too strong is might be off-putting. The oil itself feels like it could be moisturizing. There is a mix of gold shimmer and larger gold glitter particles. I personally prefer a natural shimmer over chunks of glitter. I have had perfume before with glitter and after about 20 sprays the glitter gets clogged up and can no longer spray; I am hoping that doesn't happen to this one! I am on the fence about selling this. It smells lovely, but it's so faint and the glitter is too chunky so it comes off as juvenile. You could probably find body lotions at BBWs that smell similar for a fraction of the price and then add your own crush-up eye shadow or highlighter for glitter. Edit: Wearing it again on a rainy end of November night, it smells LOVELY! It's a perfect balance of floral, sweet, and nuttiness. I ended up selling this on Poshmark, bc I won't use it enough due to the glitter. If I could find a perfume that smells the same, projects more, and lasts longer I would buy it right away!

Man, I have no use for shimmer scents (I have the Shimmer JC EDP) because I'm a 36 year old goth/punk.... but I do like "I Am Juicy Couture"... and this really excites me because of the macadamia and sweet almond notes! Dammit! I don't want any shimmer- but I do want to sniff this! Why not make it a new/different scent if they are adding notes?

I absolutely love this perfume and Frosty Couture shimmering Eau De Parfum!!! I also have Tom Ford Soleil Blanc, shimmering body oil. In fact, I LOVE anything with shimmer, and I'm 60. I will try anything with a shimmer in it, makes it fun and sexy. I give this one, two thumbs up!!

I wish this line would follow in the most recent footsteps of the fashion label it's named after.
