Palm Trees Please

As someone whose collection recently crossed the 700 scents mark, I’ll admit tend to chase the rare, the obscure, or the overly complex niche creation. So, when I tested Palm Trees Please in my local Kohl's while doing an Amanzon return, I was expecting another generic, sweet summer spritz. I was gloriously, and surprisingly, wrong. This scent, is a masterclass in unpretentious joy. For those of us overloaded with oud and heavy spice, this fragrance is a palette cleanser and the perfect casual green scent. Sometimes what you truly need is impeccable wearability. The sillage is modest but present, making it ideal for the office, or travel. The initial blast of dewy is ivy is very realistic. Yet, it avoids the screechy feel that plagues so many mass-market greens. The light Tuberose is airy, not heady. This keeps the scent genuinely fresh, slightly moist, with a "Southern California morning" vibe (I live in San Diego.) It reminds you that beauty often lies in simplicity done right, and that’s a quality any true collector can respect.

💲 I bought the 2.5oz EDT at Ross for $16.99 👃 Mmm! This smells so good & clean; Not laundry or linen clean, rather pamper-yourself-spa-day body clean. It’s a very green, fancy spa, scent reminiscent of the type of mini bath products you might find at a luxury hotel. The sweetness in it gives me chewing caña (sugar cane,) frozen white grapes, or walking through a misty bamboo forest (which I’ve only ever come close to doing at the zoo.) I think this crisp, just- m-bathed fragrance will work well for any season or climate.

Albeit synthetic and slightly upsetting opening, Palm Trees Please dries down into a very pleasing green and fresh scent. I'm not a huge fan of freshies but this is like a cozy green scent for me. It is definitely reminiscent of sunny palm trees or a warm day in a field. It's not grassy, and the matcha came out later on pre-drydown. I have this one and Sunny Hunny, and would say that this is my favorite of the 2. Wish it lasted longer though! The bottle is super pretty and fun!

I love green scents, and this doesn't disappoint. I like that it's both green, AND tropical-sweet. A lot of exciting and grown-up notes in this one. The black currant, ivy, labdanum, and angelica give this major vintage vibes. A bold offering for a trendy, youth-centered brand. I can see why the reviews for this are mixed (at best!) but I personally love it.

I love this. Idk if it's the matcha tea, but it's so green and sweet and airy. I agree on the over spray to make it last. Its a great summer scent, I would say both day and night here in socal where it's pretty consistently hot during summer. Its like a reminder that summer shouldn't fry you too a crisp every year lol

I typically am not a fan of green scents, but I absolutely love this scent! It's green and fresh yet luxurious and feminine. It's really surprising how the two could work together. I wish it lasts longer on the skin though

I love this perfume. I've been looking for a replacement for Yves Rocher Neonatura since they stopped making it and I happened across this today. Sooo happy.

I wasn't sure this would be anything special on my initial sniff, but once it was on my skin, I loved it. This one is a great choice for a spring or summer day. It starts out smelling like something fruity from the 1990s, but that is not the aura that sticks around. It's a fragrance best described by its main accords rather than actual specific notes. Overall, it's a fresh clean spa green floral with a small amount of fruitiness. It's not until the dry down that I could detect a green tea note. The fragrance is overall uplifting, and I think it's a good one to choose as a mood enhancer.

So wanted to love this. Love green bottles. Love green scents. This. However. While a pretty scent. Ugh. Has ZERO staying power. I have body MISTS that last and do more. This has maybe 30-45 mins of coverage even with lotion on a hour half max and even then no one knows you have anything on. I don’t hate it. Because it doesn’t stink but I hate it due to longevity. I had to sell this one. Which was sad because it was a gift and I loved the color of the bottle. Huge disappointment.

I really love the scent. It's so refreshingly sweet, and just girly. However, it doesn't last or project at all, no matter how much you spray it. The nectarine and lemon blossom are really strong when just applied, but once it dries down, it smells more like a subtle field of pretty flowers in the summer, along with some citrusy notes. l also think it smells a little bit like ramune. I'm not sure what flavor though, maybe melon...

I got this one in a rollerball set with Rah Rah Rouge and Pretty In Purple at TJ Max. Super sweet and reminds me so much of DKNY Be Delicious. I like BD better, but this scent is great too. This is a lot more green than BD, and BD is a lot more fruity. Smells like you're sitting in a wooden sun chair on the beach, drinking a lemonade, the sun beaming down on you. If you like this scent, you'll love BD.

I wanted to try this because of the matcha but I didn't get tea at all, it's a bright fresh perfume but nondescript. The dry down started smelling funky and a bit unpleasant but not so strongly that it ruins the scent. It strikes me as something I would've liked in my teen years much better.

i recently found this in my closet after not using it since quarantine... oooof. i used to looove this fragrance, but now all i can smell is the sickly sweet nectarine just burning into my nostrils.

I think this fragrance would be perfect for somebody who is ultra sensitive to fragrances. If you enjoy the way aloe vera smells, or VERY Light fruity smells, then this would be ideal. This smells like maybe three notes....that's it. For having quite a few notes you barely get anything. It's lightly green and fruity. Without being herbal. This fragrance is NOT worth the price tag. Anything over 15, you're SERIOUSLY over paying. The bottle is beautiful though. This is one of those fragrances you can MASSIVELY over spray and it never becomes too much or suffocating. If anything, I would actually encourage over spraying this one.... Especially if you want it to last any real amount of time, or project even a little bit. This fragrance stays so close to the skin, and doesn't really project. It also doesn't last past an hour or so. OVER Spray it a bit, and it does. Manage to go a lil longer. I think this would be IDEAL for someone living in a place where having a pronounced fragrance is not encouraged.

Agree with previous review, I sprayed this in Kohls and walked around for about 30 minutes. It gets syrupy and not pleasant very quick.

a strong green citrus~ the ylang ylang and ivy isn't my fave

my mom wears this perfume and every time i smell it it gives me a headache. this is a diabolical fragrance.

I found this perfume for $5 at Walmart and based on the name alone I bought it. I tried it as soon as I got in the car and I loved it. After I got home I smelled my wrist and the dry down is so so weird. Sort of smells like rain on fresh grass clippings but thick & almost syrupy. I tested it multiple times with the same outcome but because I truly loved everything except the dry down (performance isn't great but it is a EDT by JC so I expected that) I set out to find something in my collection to layer it with and I actually found a few that were honestly just beautiful. I noticed a couple other reviews about the dry down that were similar to my thoughts so if you have any of these in your collection please try them out! Two of them are also dirt cheap on ebay. 1. Haiku by Avon (original) this combo was my favorite by a Longshot. Haiku is (to me) a cold, watery, fresh green scent that I was hoping would balance the drydown of PTP and it absolutely did! The drydown here is fresh, floral and creamy and I got a good 4 hours from this pair. Highly recommend. 2. I Fancy You by Jessica Simpson the fruit in this paired with PTP is literal Spring perfection. Super airy & light. Makes me think of eating a fruit salad in a light linen dress. 3. Coach Poppy & Poppy Blossom the OG gives you a similar feel to I Fancy You but not as airy or light feeling, just a bit heavier with a less fruity dry down. Blossom gives you clipping leaves off of fresh cut flowers but the PTP drydown is what makes this so pretty. Lending that syrupy thickness to the florals just does something incredible that I'm not even sure how to describe. I've also enjoyed layering this with Soft by AL Rehab and also Sandra - the oils in particular worked wonders. I'm sure there are other combos but this is just based on the past couple of months of trial and error, so much error lol I'm just hoping these could be a starting point for someone if they are having the same situation at the drydown. This is a very non-offensive green scent - very clean, fresh, with aquatic undertones, and the jasmine comes through... but it's all very synthetic. I don't know what it is with this line, but all of them have fake scent profiles. If you're looking for a run of the mill clean + fresh scent, this one fits the bill - it's very subtle though/doesn't have a lot of punch; so could be good for someone with a sensitive nose.

Blind bought at Ross for like $17. Very fresh, clean aquatic scent. Luxurious, rich girl vacationing in the Hamptons over the summer vibes. I know palm trees are a west coast thing lol but this gives me rich girl in the Hamptons vibes lol. Not really fruit or juicy, more of a green fresh rain water scent. Smells exactly like Armani Acqua di Gioia
