Viva la Juicy Extrait de Parfum

I bought a full bottle of this on Ebay, because I am a fan of VLJC fragrances. I wore it to work last week (5 sprays), followed by the gym in the evening. I didn't think there was any fragrance left by 7pm, but a man at the gym turned to follow me to say I smelled "pretty". Good to know that the fragrance was still lingering 10 hours after application and could turn heads.

Same as my review for the VLJ EDP which I’ll copy/paste below but it’s just stronger, a touch more caramel and lasts a little longer. I bought this cause at the time I loved VLJ and saw this Limited Edition bottle and fell in LOVE (the picture does absolutely no justice). However, before I ever used this perfume, I got over the scent really fast and realise just how sickly sweet it can smell and really is not suited to any environment except cold weather. I live in Australia where it’s hot most the time so I pretty much can’t get use out of it ever. The only reason why I haven’t given it away yet is it’s just so beautiful to look at lol. Sweet Carmel with florals note and a touch of the mandarin is what I get from this. I think it’s the combo of caramel with white florals (especially gardenia as I’m not a big fan) that makes me regret this. As a gourmand love of sweet scents this is a bit too sickly sweet for me and at 26 years old this almost smells too young to me. I feel I’d only be able to wear this in winter or a cooler autumn day/evening.

I just got a full bottle on eBay for $20, wahoo! :) It was a blind buy but I already had JC Gold and Noir.....this pure perfume is very nice, I can see that Gold and Noir are not much different in the scent profile from the original. The pure perfume lasts about 8 hrs on me, much longer on clothing. I really like it, maybe love it, but I do love caramel scents!! The bottle with the gold lattice and rhinestones is very pretty and it's very heavy....the one I got was missing the pink bow, but doesn't matter since I keep all my perfumes in a cool dark closet drawer for storage....don't display them. Will definitely buy another when I run out, but I have so many perfumes that could take a while.

I got this perfume a couple of weeks ago and it is pretty much the same Viva La Juicy scent. On initial spray it seems concentrated....then it seemed to fade pretty fast to where I couldn't smell it; however I've received several compliments while wearing it. I don't know if maybe I'm just "nose blind" to the scent. I will finish the bottle, but doubt I will repurchase unless I get it at a super discounted price! Lol:)

There is nothing gourmand about this scent..as a gourmand lover myself... I know my gourmands trust me. Also, despite it being a more intense version of the original..it doesn't really smell any different. It is more creamier and a bit longer lasting but that is about it. It's a fresh, non-offensive scent that is great for the office wear, don't expect a deep gourmand notes here..look elsewhere :)
