Viva La Juicy Glacé

As someone who collects Juicy Couture perfumes,I wanted Juicy Couture Glace so badly first because of it's girly, feathery,whimsical bottle,also I like all of it's notes specially pear sorbet looked very intriguing to me.it's not widely available here so last week,when I saw a bottle of it in a perfume shop,bought it immediately It smells very pretty and soft. sweet but not cloyingly. I smell something like a fruity ice cream(pear or golden apple) and a very pretty floral accord (mostly honeysuckle which is one of my favorite floral notes). the fruits in here smell syntethic,not like natural ones but really like a pear sorbet,yet it's far from a cheap or unpleasant syntethic mess. I can't call it an overly fruity scent,not heavily floral or just about vanilla either. it's a well blended combination of fruits,flowers and airy sweetness.It reminds me of Rihanna Rogue Love. they're not dupes or anything but they have the same vibe of honeysuckle and other delicate flowers + fruits(pear is replaced by peach in Rogue Love)+sweetness (the sweetness in Rogue Love feels a bit warmer) Glace could be one of my most favourite JC perfumes.it smells delightful,girly,sweet but airy, very pretty,soft and clean.It smells youthful but also feels a lot more classy when I compare it to other perfumes in this genre,probably because it has a good balance and doesn't insist on being overly sweet,overly gourmand or overly fruity. it's as dreamy as it's bottle But there's a huge problem here which leaves me underwhelmed and makes me highly believe it was not worth more than half the price I paid for it(which was 75$ !!!).It's an EDP but I find it much lighter and more fleeting when I compare it to some JC edts such as Royal Hollywood.I usually don't care much about my perfume's longevity as I usually don't want them to last long anyway because I like changing my perfume during the day and I take out my perfumes or at least a decant of them with myself and reapply them every couple of hours. in this case I barely get 3 hours of longevity but the bigger problem here is that I want to be able to smell my perfumes.when I douse myself with VLJ Glace, I can smell wafts of this gorgeous scent around me,but for five minutes top,after that I can only smell it when I burry my nose in my skin,it's like this for less than 20 minutes.after that I can barely smell it even when I glue my nose to my hand!it's there but like a shadow of it's former self.notes seem to expunge before being really recognizable.It's a big shame that such a lovely perfume is so faint that I can't enjoy it.Juicy Couture could have had a big winner here if they made Glace stronger and better projecting.I have to wait for spring and see whether it appears stronger then or not.I'm also thinking of layering it with Katy Perry Meow and will report the result If you're sensitive to perfumes or want something truely soft and inoffensive,a perfume with superfeminine,delicately sweet, pleasantly clean and very pretty scent make sure to give it a try Edit: I mainly use it as bed time perfume because it's performance is so weak 2nd edit: I have had it for a few years and maceration improves it's performance a lot ترکیبی از یخ در بهشت میوه ای(یه چیزی شبیه گلابی یا سیب زرد) و گلهای سفید خیلی ملایم(عمدتا پیچ امین الدوله، بااینکه بین نتها نیست) یه رایحه ملایم و خیلی دوست داشتنی داره. شیرینیش سبک و خنکه. زیادی میوه ای یا زیادی گلی نیست و با وجود دخترونه و جوون بودن، باکلاسه اما متاسفانه موندگاری و پخش بوی خیلی ضعیفی داره. مناسب کساییه که عطر خیلی ملایم میخوان

important!!!! if youre someone who wants this just for the bottle MAKE SURE youre buying the edp (NOT the edt version which is super cheap, its just stickers on the bottle, like double check what it says on the box you WILL regret it 💔) that being said I was super lucky to find a 100mL of the edp for sale on ebay for only $50! I've seen pictures of the testers before and it looks like it's just a (removeable) sticker on the front, they come with the cap!!! so I'd say it's probably safe to gamble on the 50mL tester at fragrancenet right now if anyone is looking for it for cheap. I didnt want to gamble haha thats why I used ebay, but as a discontinued product most sites will overprice it unfortunately :( ill be honest the adorable tacky bottle IS most of the experience of this, the scent is nice but nothing super unique! I get kind of a syrupy cherry / car air freshener vibe that's weirdly nostalgic, it smells like the feeling you get as a kid about to go on vacation and you're in an airport parking garage really early in the morning, like you can kind of smell different adult's perfumes mixed in there (over your own sugary pear hairspray), the air is breezy and cold and you're just excited to get on a plane in a few hours 🥰 It's not ice as much as glittery soft snowflakes! the sorbet, vanilla, and orange notes are really spot on, and I usually hate vanilla in a perfume context but it's subtle enough and doesn't feel warm cozy bakery-like at all, it's closer to the flavour of french vanilla ice cream. I think it's a lot less fruity sweet than the original VLJ and more delicate of a scent, unfortunately also more "basic" so I'd reccomend it for any teenage girls/younger adults who dont want to stand out too much! Even though it's my first time smelling it it doesn't feel like it yknow .. another positive is it lasts almost all day for me and I honestly think it gets prettier throughout the drydown, the pear hairspray note (literally is like cotton candy) fades out and it's not as immature as some of the other comments have said. Overall super cute on my bedside table! feels like feathers will eventually get all over everything I love it haha

I really enjoyed trying this out but would not commit to a bottle. The mix of fruit, vanilla/florals is nothing extraordinary. I think it is very "soft" and pretty smelling, but I don't think anyone would even notice the scent on me. It wore like a watered down, weak body spray that smelled faintly of a rose’ cocktail. I can't detect a pear note-on my skin the fruit note I can smell leans towards a golden delicious apple. Not one whiff of vanilla showed up the entire time I wore this-kind of bummed about that actually. Nostalgic memories? It took me awhile to pin point, but if you went to school in the '80's you may sense a Ex'clama'tion by Coty familiarity. There is a note in here & Coty Ex. that reads a tad plastic-vinyl-rubbery to me. Like a new doll or flip flops. In my mind, if I could picture "her" wearing this as a signature scent, she would be a young, adorable carefree girl woman (with generous gift givers in her life), a sweet personality & everyone enjoys spending time w/ her- in part, because she smells soft, sunny & fruity for approx. 10 minutes every time you hang out with her. I do get a faint base vibe of the OG Juicy. I think overall this is a pleasant scent. The bottle is typical "over the top" Juicy- tacky glam yet somehow quirky & feminine enough to be cute & rat fink I am a sucker for these gaudy bottles! ;) I enjoy Juicy perfumes, but in my opinion some of them are too much $$ for what you get. Cheers! 🥰 EDIT. 3/2025: I own this one now, & wear it with a "secret' body oil. Now...it could be my chemistry changed now that I finally crossed the menopause finish line, idk, but I tried it again & LOVE it. Somehow the oil brings it all "up & out" perfecting & radiating the top & base notes like a whispered secret or expensive hair cut. (The professional at the salon appears to cut your hair exactly like your mom did at the kitchen table with her best sewing scissors, but it is not the same.) The oil makes it the "salon cut". It gets compliments galore. I now wear this a lot, & am never letting my mom cut my hair again. :) xo

I came across this it Marshall’s many times however it was in the clearance section for $28 and I decided to buy it. I honestly thought I was not going to like it and was going to be disappointed somehow. I do not care for the original viva la juicy. I purchased Hollywood because of the marshmallow note listed. I get none of that and I find it very citrusy. I got viva la juicy noir because of the fruitiness and caramel. I get no caramel.. it is sweet but more in the fruity side however it lasts 3 hrs tops on me. So I was disappointed. It is an easy to grab scent I just have to reapply. Then I found this at marshals and I wore it today. To my surprise this is a very vanilla-fruity scent. I fell in love with it right away. I even got a compliment as soon as someone approached me. I was of course waiting to see how long this lasted on me.. I sprayed this morning at 7:30 am and 12 hours and a shower later and I can still smell the scent. It starts sweet then it turns fresh and citrusy but not too much (which I don’t like overly citrusy smells) and the dry down is a powdery fruity vanilla scent with a touch of citrus. So it is all the notes blended beautifully together. I will say it is one of my top 5 favorites right now. Perfect for spring and summer !! The only thing I am upset about is that I was expecting the frosted bottle and instead I got the clear bottle with the glitter sticker on the back. Cute but not as cute as the other one. Either way in happy 😊

I bought it a few years ago and this review is based on the frosted bottle . It's performance used to be very poor but maceration helped a lot. It smells simply adorable and eventhough it's sweet, it never gets cloying in heat because it has a refreshing,cool and clean vibe. I prefer it for spring and summer. honeysuckle isn't among the notes but VLJ Glace is a honeysuckle bomb on me and I love honeysuckle. I mostly smell honeysuckle and pear sorbet and a hint of powdery vanilla. it's sweet but in a lightweight, fluffy, airy way. I'm 35 and I don't find it too juvenile good layering combos: Katy Perry Meow, Nicki Minaj Onicka, Rihanna Rogue Love, Marc Jacobs Honey, Tommy Girl, Britney Spears Curious, Police Good Vibes I hope the new formulation is as good as the old one اگه دنبال عطر شیرین ولی خنک و مناسب بهار و تابستون هستید، ویوا لا جوسی گلیس گزینه خیلی خوبیه چون شیرینی سبکی داره و درکل رفرش کننده و تمیز و خنکه. بااینکه بین نتها نیست، رایحه غالب این عطر، گل هانی ساکل(پیچ امین الدوله) هست. درکل چیزی که من بیشتر از همه حس میکنم همین پیچ امین الدوله ست همراه با یخ در بهشت گلابی و یکمم وانیل پودری. شیرینیش سبک و ملایم و لطیفه

Not the best from the Juicy lineup... definitely more unique than the others and the original. Not as sweet as Sucré or Gold Couture but definitely sweeter than the original. I do like the unique blend of notes... the berries and sorbet come through but as for what sorbet really smells like... who knows. I smell mostly berries, sweetness/vanilla and pear. And of course some of the classic jasmine/gardenia/amber from the original. Unfortunately this is the weakest Juicy I have ever smelt. Up to 5 sprays only last maybe 45 minutes on me. It’s terrible and really unfortunate considering it is a decent scent. The bottle is adorable as most Juicy flankers are. I collect them and so I definitely picked this up. If you aren’t collecting, I would suggest maybe getting Sucré or Gold Couture if you like sweet. I personally am not a fan of the original VLJ but without it we wouldn’t have all these other great interpretations. If you like fruity go with Juicy Soireé. And of course, for more floral Juicy Rosé is lovely. For an Eau de Parfum this seriously underperforms. It’s like a body spray at best. Would not repurchase.

I love this EDP and don't know why I didn't buy it when it was available at Ulta. I was very lucky to score a bottle. It looks gorgeous albeit over-the-top. The scent is very soft, and smells like a very sweet "frosted" floral gourmand with a kiss of vanilla. Imagine one of those "gourmet" lollipops (as in the ones with strawberry cheesecake flavor, etc). That's what this is. There's no weird celery/honeysuckle aftersmell on my skin like other Juicys. Just pretty, fresh, and sweet, synthetic yet pleasant. If you are looking for something strong with sillage, this is not it. But I consider it perfect for summer. Love love love Edited to add: this disappears in a few hours. Oh well, I still love it. Juicy should bring it back as well as Sucre.

OMG the EDT version of this is a crime against the EDP version. Aside from the longevity and power, they just truly do not smell the same! And the bottles are miles apart in terms of aesthetics. But moving on from that, the EDP is pure wonder! It’s powdery, creamy sugary vanilla mixed with a bit of tangy fruits, florals, and sandalwood. And even with all that, it managed to still be softer and lighter than the original VLJ. And the frosted bottle is just a nice finishing touch. It can truly be worn all year. I am conserving my bottle a bit though, as it is currently discontinued. But I refuse to get the EDT which honestly smells like diluted detergent/floor cleaner to me. I hope they’ll re-release this again!

I don't get all the negative reviews of Glace, personally I love it! I just recently rediscovered Juicy fragrances, I've had the original Viva La Juicy for years, and in my opinion, I think Glace is better! It's such a beautiful, feminine blend of sweet florals and vanilla with a bit of fruitiness. I found it had great lasting power on me, it was a good five or six hours before I had to touch it up. I've heard lots of people compare this one to Sucre, but I wasn't too impressed with Sucre which I found had terrible lasting power and a bitter dry down note that I just didn't like. Glace is marketed as a winter scent with the whole "on ice" thing, but I feel like it can be worn all year round.

Very feminine and lightweight version of Viva La Juicy. Lovely. Without any heavy tones, but has a presence. I feel mainly pear, sorbet, vanilla and sandalwood. It has the dna of the classic, but is as fluffy as the decoration on the bottle. It warms up nicely on the skin, even in winter it sounds delicious. I imagine it might be better for spring and summer, but it is perfect this gloomy winter day. It would be good even in the office, it reads rather daywear to me, however it will work also on a date. I quite love it. It lasts well and is detectable well for 6 hours. Maybe 7. So far it is my favourite out of Viva La Juicy range.

I picked this up on a whim the other day. I noticed the box said it's an EDT, and I thought to myself how usual that is for VLJ, but took a chance anyway. The bottle is very cheap looking as some other reviewers have said, but the scent itself is so nice. The only way I can think to explain it is an icy version of VLJ. It's light, fresh, and sweet. Vanishes from skin in under an hour; lasts a few hours on clothes. Wears close to the body. Probably not worth the price I paid, but I'll still enjoy it.

It's amazing how we are all different, someone smells one thing, someone something else. It's interesting. I just bought 100ml and sprayed it once on my hand. In the car, while my husband is driving. Couldn't wait to do thst at home. Btw,blind buy, cuz i love VLJ and have Noir and Gold Couture. Want to get all of them. Didn't get any icy smell, but warm, powdery one. Reminds me of The Body Shop shower cream, milk, almond and honey.

Ice cream in a adorable bottle! Looking at the notes, I wasn't expecting much when I went in to try this, but I genuinely had heart eyes when I caught the first whiff of it. Love at first sniff! The sorbet stands out the very most, but I'm also picking pear, and not just any pear, it's like a frozen pear here. Love love love this scent, and it definitely helps that the bottle is cute as heck!

It’s not fresh and it’s not warm, but it’s a sharp and comforting fruity sorbet and floral mix, with a detectable base. I get a lot of brown sugar but that may be the vanilla. It’s good for everyday and I did love it as soon as I smelled it but I do get that ‘chemical note’ that has been previously mentioned so I don’t know if I’ll repurchase.

Love!!! 🩷🤍🩷🤍🩷I love it as much as the OG Viva La Juicy... maybe even more if that's possible! No shame here...I am happily addicted to her! It is pure sugar sweet creamy glaze. Moderate sillage & lasts 4-5 hrs on me. Any of my perfumes that I feel needs an added sweetness this is my girl for that...never want to be without it.

It's fresh, light floral and fruity, the dry drown is beautiful, creamy orange blossom, sweet ice vanilla with hint of fruitness. It doesnt last long since I got the eau de tiolette version, its disappointing that the parfum version is discontinued. I would love this scent to be back.

Was really sad and depressed last week so I did the one thing that makes me happy, buy perfumes on eBay lol. This is one of the testers I picked up. I reviewed this when it first came out but now that I have a bottle I have stronger opinions haha. It's a very clean and fresh, ice cold take on the original. It is less of a gourmand and more of a fresh zingy scent along the lines of Light Blue. Different scent but same type. It has hints of the original VLJ DNA but much fresher, more tart (almost in a yummy sour gummy worms way). The orange blossom is definitely there, tucked away behind the mandarin, pear and vanilla. It reminds me of DKNY Be Delicious Fresh Blossom. I will wear this to the gym this summer, I think the marketing is perfect because it is a super fresh, icy scent to my nose. Lasting power and sillage are actually not bad, I can smell it 2-3 feet away from my nose. I sprayed it on the back of my hand and could still smell it many hours later even after washing my hands many times.

The name 'Glacé' is quite fitting for this edition of Viva La Juicy, as it really has something icy, sorbet-like, especially in the top and heart. I smell a blend of fresh mandarin and pear with a smooth, bright, almost almondy vanilla. It seems to me like it works best on cold skin - outdoors (in winter) it smells nicer and more icy and unique than inside. Honestly, that seems pointless to me, as I usually don't stand around in the cold for hours. I still like this flanker better than the original, it's not as sharp and floral, it's more vanillic and soft, and more rounded. I think they are in the same family, but absolutely not twins. I like this concept of a sweet but cold scent, but overall, it could be done better. VLJ Glacé starts out nice, but after a few hours it starts to bore me. It dries down to a very run-of-the-mill vanilla fruity floral. The strenght of the fragrance is average in my opinion, it's a soft scent but not exceptionally short-lived on my skin.

This smells nice but not outstanding. Like the other vlj flankers it doesn't do much to stand apart from all of the other (delicious) variations. If you are a fan of every viva flanker like I am, I think you will like it (although it doesn't last as long as noir or gold couture). Overall this is a nice, soft version of the scent that is so loved and while that can be a good thing, it is also what makes it so...pedestrian? There isn't much to say about the scent as it neither draws me or offends me to the point of evoking a reaction other than, "nice.". Tip: If you own Sarah Jessica Parker's Lovely, this pairs surprisingly well with it. I find that it lessens the sweetness slightly and blends in a very complementary way, so that it just smells like one scent rather than the layering that it is. If you own them both, please try it!!!! You won't regret it :)
