Viva La Juicy La Fleur

Gourmand, gourmand, gourmand. The best gourmand perfume ever. It is actually delicious, it is mouthwatering. Caramel heaven- this fragrance is so tasty- it makes me hungry. It is a gourmand sweet creamy floral scent with an ever so slight trace of syrup and spice as the base notes. It really is the best tastiest most mouthwatering fragrance ever. Also I would like to add the bottle is gorgeous, some of the juicy couture bottes are tacky- this is my fav out of all the bottles- it is gorgeous. Now here is where it all comes crashing down- the lasting power goes way beyond disappointing- It probably lasts less than an hour and is a skin scent to start with- I am so disappointed to the point I am heartbroken about this. How can they build me up to break me down like that- this fragrance really is gone to soon! I purchased this at the airport coming back from my holliday and I do not regret 75ML for £36 is a fair price- bit pricey for the lasting power- but this scent smells divine- so I don't mind paying. My favourite gourmand fragrance. I have not tested this personally as of yet but i bet if you allow men to get close enough to experience this mouthwatering skin scent they will adore it and go wild. It is these gourmand fragrances that make a man go weak at the knees. Innocent & Beautiful & mouthwatering gourmand fragrance! Scent=8.5/10 Radiates=5/10 Lasting time=3/10 The lasting time really dissapoints me- Please some genius somewhere reformulate this gorgeous scent but only extend the lasting power.

It's amazing how I did reviews for perfumes that I want or I already have and never did for my favorite/signature one. Maybe it's a part of me but I love fragrantica and sharing experiences. Everyone loves the original and I am sure that out there, there are thousands of Juicy lovers like me who want all the editions. At least this is what I do. I always buy the 30 ml bottle and keep it like a treasure. In this case, when I first tried Viva la juicy-La fleur, I fell in love. I said, yeah, finally my perfume. It has the magic of the original EDP but in a more fresh way. I am not a floral fan but this edition is just amazing. It looks like they made La fleur for the younger crowds but for me it's my all time classic. The sillage is great and lasting power for an EDT impressive. I am so scared in case they will discontinue it since it's no more available in the official Juicy Couture site and I hardly find it in stores. It's bubbly sweet with the honeysuckle and red berries giving their sheer character by not being sickly sweet. Mandarin/green note of water lily help with the sparkling freshness of the bold white floral tones that I can stand (gardenia, honeysuckle, a bit of jasmine) and at the same time are so light. The base of caramel/vanilla/sandalwood is a pure creamy addiction. I could call it a heartbreaker, a dreamer who still hopes for some romance in our strange and modern world. I sampled this a few months ago and I was really surprised how much I loved it. Today I got the gift pack with the makeup bag and roller ball/lip gloss from Ulta. I was not blown away by the original Viva la Juicy, but I do like it well enough and only have a bottle because I found it cheap at Ross and thought it'd be a good addition to my collection, but I don't ever really wear it. But when I smelled this it was like Viva la Juicy COMES ALIVE! True, they are very very similar, but where original VLJ is very sweet, a tad heavy and caramel-y this is light and vibrant- and well...Alive! To me this should be called just Juicy, because that's what it is. I get a lot of sweet (juicy!)cherries, a bit of vanilla all laying on a bed of honeysuckle. This just really "pops" to me. And while it is very light, it does last a pretty good amount of time on me. Love this one! And as a side note, I'll review the the lip gloss that came with my roller ball gift set since I'm already here. It looks darker in the container then it goes on. It's a little bit like a frost but not in an 80's way. TONS of glitter and to my surprise, it smells really,really good. Almost just like the perfume but not quite.

I am not usually a lover of Juicy Couture perfumes, having tried all the others before and been overwhelmed by strong, traditional-smelling scents. However, this one pleasantly surprised me, it's a very light, fun scent ideal for daytime, in particular Spring and Summer. I do not think it smells a lot like Viva La Juicy at all, other than the warm caramel which develops after having worn it for about an hour. For me, the most noticeable scents were the flowers; Honeysuckle, Gardenia, Waterlily and Jasmine along with a slight sweetness from the berries which gives it it's charm. I think this fragrance is ideal for teenage girls such as myself and young women as it's very contemporary, a uncommon thing with designer fragrances. EDIT: My only complaints are that the fragrance itself is very dry, and in my opinion, a bit too floral. To me, it smelled like solid flowers, you can't detect the individual notes. It also has a very short Longevity, which is to be expected of an EDT but it's still rather disappointing.

There was a time that I absolutely adored this perfume. It was in my early twenties and I loved the way it made me feel and the way it blossomed on my skin. I don't absolutely detest it now, but I'm just seemingly unimpressed with its composition. To be quite honest, the whole Viva La Juicy line underwhelms me. My best friend loves it and I can see why. It's feminine with very sweet and flirty nuances. However, hasn't it been done to death already with the 8 or so flankers for the original Viva La Juicy? They all to me smell almost identical to each other and the lasting power is a cruel joke. If this scent or any of the other flankers lasted really well I might still own a bottle of it now but it's just so fleeting. I do not want to offend anyone with my opinion so take it with a grain of salt but I cannot be the only one who feels this way. I just don't see it being worth looking into now that a whole lot of other fragrances are doing this type of gourmand fruity white floral.

I highly enjoyed Viva la Juicy La Fleur and was genuinely surprised that Juicy Couture would create this unique and beautiful scent. L Fleur is the first where I've found the advertised description matches the actual scent. I detected every note mentioned and enjoyed this "sweet" scent. This came in a Sephora sampler box and it was the winning fragrance out of 12 for me. That included Be Delicious, Dot, Candy, Very Irresistible, Robe Noire, Poppy, Guilty Intense, Hanae Mori, For Her, Bright Crystal, Too Too Pretty. I found within the first thirty minutes: - Yummy berry and mandarin notes - Creamy caramel and vanilla - Well balanced jasmine and honeysuckle The perfume softens: - More vanilla and caramel, less fruit - Overall scent stays true as the day wears on. - Lasts about 3-4 hours on me. *8/10 rating *1/10 headache factor. This perfume is a big favorite of mine. Adjectives: playful, very feminine, juicy, sweet and sexy. Good for when you're wearing: anything. This was my all-time favorite scent. I still love it, but it's easy to grow out of perfume. This immediately brings me back several years, which is neat. However, this is good for anyone in their 20-30's. I was shocked that there wasn't more people who "loved" this scent on this page. This perfume is the epitome of a feminine scent and felt like all I needed in my perfume collection was this. But, time goes on and you start to explore new scents. I still wear this at Christmas time (which is when I started wearing this- I don't find this is strictly for summer/spring). This perfume, to me, is a must have because it is gorgeous.

I used to HATE Viva la Juicy. There was a time where everyone wore it and I felt like I couldn't escape it. I hated the super sweet scent of VLJ. I smelled VLJ la Fleur with low expectations and was pleasantly surprised. VERY similar to VLJ but toned down on the caramel sweetness and more amped up on the floral notes. I bought the 5oz bottle and went through it like water. Sad that longevity is so short. I got two hours and I couldn't smell it. People around me couldn't smell it. I rarely got complimented with this one. I actually ended up buying a bottle of VLJ because I enjoyed VLJ la Fleur so much. I was hoping to get better longevity with the original. I would not repurchase. It was fun to wear while it lasted but the romance is over. On to the next...

A Lighter, Floral Viva La Juicy... This has the Viva La Juicy Juicy Couture DNA, but there is an aqueous freshness in the top notes that turns to red fruit with distant reminders of Fantasy Britney Spears & Perfect Marc Jacobs. The longer it's on the skin the more the Viva La Juicy DNA shines through. This is a lighter, more floral Viva La Juicy, as others have mentioned, and would be easier to wear in summer. I just have a tester, but the performance is moderate, and would likely improve with storing a full bottle over a few weeks or months. I have no issues with the performance, but it does have a lighter weight feel to it, and those looking for something with the same performance as the original may be disappointed. Enjoy!

I love this scent, it's 98% similar to original Viva la Juicy but a tiny bit more floral - more subtle and less gourmand - a watered down version of the original, if you will. The only (major) drawback its longevity, which lasts about 1 hour if your lucky. I bought the 150 mL for what I thought was a steal, but now it seems like an expensive body mist which needs reapplication every hour or so to make it last. It's like having the original at home and bringing this one as a body mist to reapply. My recommendation: buy it if you find it at the same price range of any body mist, because that's what you're going to get... unless you have a different DNA than mine. Maybe you're lucky! I bought this by mistake after asing for the original and came home with this after not checking properly. I decided to just give it a go. Its not nearly as sweet as the original. On first spritz it doesnt smell like the original at all. This is a very clean, fresh, sweet smell. On me it doesnt smell especially floral. Sort of like soap and berries. When I where Vaseline coco butter underneath it gives it a better fullness. There is a hint of caralmel or fudge or something like that in there but its not forth coming. Only downside is that it does disappear very fast. Faster than the original I think. Nontheless I really do like this. Its my everyday work scent now.

This smells good! Smells fresh, cool, floral, and light with a heavy emphasis on the light. It smells like a watery, rosy, flirty, floral. It's so pretty but it's not lasting. They not lying when they say its giving body mist vibes. I have to carry it with me or layer it with BBW You're the One or something else floral. It's great for workout because its light and fresh and will disappear so you don't have to worry about it smoldering and getting annoying. You can find this at discount stores for the same price as body mist, but it smells more perfumy. Get it for cheap and have fun with it. I think the bottle is cute and fun.

A light fruity flowery version of VLJ on me, very very nice!!! The only issue is is disappears within 2 hours, gonna try more than one spray and see if that helps. This and noir are both great!! Way to go JC! Edited to add: I bought the VLJ/VLJLF rollerball figuring rollerballs usually last longer on me than most sprays...unfortunatly VLJLF still only gives me about 2 hours of scent then disappears. I SERIOUSLY love this scent and will continue to reapply throughout the day but will hopefully find something else that smells similar that lasts longer. I may layer it with plain old VLJ as that lasts twice as long on me.

I really like this sweet little juice. I got a 5 oz bottle from a fragrance company I happen to find who has great prices, this cost around $25, and even though it is a tester you still get the cap with the bow and cute charm on it. It smells very clean and light, maybe a tad synthetic but not unpleasantly so. It really smells like juicy fruits with flowers in the background. Something about it reminds me of Red Jeans by Versace. Staying power is not awesome, and it fades down quickly, but I could still smell it on my shirt hours later. I think this would be a good one for a teen girl starting a fragrance collection.

I had one spray on the wrist and then dabbed it on the other at around 10am. At first you get a burst of sweetness which is that of the original Viva La Juicy. But wait... when it settles it turns into a lovely floral, hence named La Fleur. I don't find this scent gourmand at all. To my nose it's a lovely sweet floral. Then I went grocery shopping at 4pm and I could catch a whiff of a lovely sweet floral scent every now and then. Now at 11pm while writing this review, I can still smell it on my wrists and can't stop sniffing them! And of course, the bottle won me over. I'm a sucker for fancy bottles!

I really love this scent but you have to literally douse your entire body in it for it to project at all or have any type of sillage, I’m sitting here wearing about 50 sprays and I can smell the leave in conditioner in my hair better than this. Kinda disappointing. I don’t know if I’ve just been used to very strong fragrances recently because I used to wear this a lot and not have that problem but my bottle is probably two years old now. Not sure if that would make a difference, or maybe because I’ve been wearing other flankers of Viva that I’m kinda nose blind.

I love this scent! If you like Viva La Juicy I think you'll like this one too. It is more light and fresh than VLJ and has less caramel and more fresh flowers but I also get a soft powdery smell. On me it is pretty long lasting. I still smell it and I put it on 3 hours ago, which is good for me as my fragrances do not tend to last long. It is very well done and does not smell cheap or synthetic. It does smell young and fresh but not juvenile. I got the biggest bottle possible, the 5oz size. I will be using this one often. I wish I would have found this sooner.

I recently won this scent along with a few others in a giveaway. At first, I was a little nervous about trying it out; I thought it would be another one of those generic sweet girls’ perfumes. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I finally wore it! I like this more than the original Viva La Juicy, which I tried earlier this summer. It reminds me of a lemon cream soda, but less sweet. It lasts about six hours and has a pretty good silage too. It’s a nice casual scent for warmer weather, and pretty good for work too.

Not a true honeysuckle, but generic white florals + sweet... so yeah let’s call it honeysuckle :) This is a lot like the original VLJ, but while I have to wait an hour or so for the "honeysuckle" phase to appear in the original, in La Fleur it begins immediately. But then the fragrance only lasts a couple hours, and is on the light side of moderate sillage. Quite lovely though, and worth having a travel spray for when I'm impatient for the honeysuckle!

This is absolutely the best representation of Fruity/Floral that I have ever smelled! One note does not try and outdo the other. Instead they play harmoniously, giving you the most exquisite blend of fresh flowers, berries, and brown sugar! As many of you have mentioned, longevity is not its strong suit. However, this fragrance is so cheerful, and dreamy, fresh, and sweet, that I don't mind over-spraying this at all!

A fresher, more floral version of VLJ, VLJ is warmer and can get cloying in the heat, but this one is just perfect for summer. I live in a desert climate and it’s blazing hot half the year, so I love this one for casual days, it just smells so good. It wears slightly better than a good body mist, but projects well while it lasts. It is always sold cheap and comes in 5oz bottles so I can re-spray as much as I want.

Just sprayed this on my hand in the store, testing it because I'm on the look out for a new perfume for my birthday and as a big fan of Viva La Juicy I have to say this was beautiful, I wasn't sure how I'd feel with it being la fleur, I thought it would be very floral but I got more caramel out of this than I have ever smelled in Viva La Juicy, I will definitely be getting this one! :)

Sprayed this on my wrist almost three hours ago at a Beauty Brands store and I'm still sniffing it every few minutes just to see 1) if it's still there, and 2) if it's morphed into the usual treacle that these fruity florals seem to do on my skin. Happy to report that it's still there and still lovely, fruity, and just a tad spicy. Might have to break down and join the Juicy Club!

I bought this beautiful perfume for a steel last summer, and, I love, love, love it so very much!!! First I can smell the berries, and the mandarin, and than the flowers, and, in the dry-down there is a hint of vanilla and caramell, it's so jummiii !!! It smells so good, it can be worn by everybody, all over the whole world and at all seasons, it's a 10/10 points from me :))

I've been testing out this scent for the past week and it smells amazing! I was taken back by the scent notes since I'm not a fan of citrus but somehow they all work well together perfectly. Since its an EDT it doesn't last long on the skin maybe 3 hours if you're lucky but regardless I'm definitely picking up a bigger bottle sometime soon. 8/10 ♥♡♥♡♥♡♥

This stuff is so good! Don't be put off by some of the reviews, For me at least, It has good sillage, And easily lasts 4-5 hours. It is NOT the same as the original Viva La Juicy, However it is almost exactly like Ed Hardy's Villain, Which I also love. Very sweet and fresh. If you like Gourmand, Slightly aquatic florals, I recommend trying it for sure.

I wanted this perfume for a long time, because the smell is so good and gentle, perfect for summer. The staying power is a very big disappointment for me, it takes about an hour till you can't feel the smell at all. Although I'm still sort of addicted to this scent, I wouldn't recommend this perfume.

I love this JC fragrance. It smells like a more candy sweet on me with hints of floral. Very sweet, at least on my skin type. I like sweet scents with sugar/candy undertones so I really enjoy this scent. Only downside is its a EDT not EDP so the lasting power is next to nothing.

Yeah it is a Viva mist. Haha. Oh well I guess. I LOVE the bottle so I'll get it when I find it for a great price. It's Viva Summer Edition. : ) Oh and Nordstrom couldn't even tell me the notes! They said they pretty much got no info on it. Lame! : (

I Love the bottle as well... Smell like flower paradise... a little bit sexy... Feel pretty... Not similar with VLJ, It's sweet,floral,very soft and feminim, but VLJ smell fruity, sweet caramel and girly Sweet summer parfume, I love it :)

Adorable oh-so-lovely endlessly cute bottle! The scent is light and airy and. very happy and it is totally inoffensive and likeable. It shows a cool and girly attitude. Awesome for spring due to its floral style.

Close to 60 years old and I must say I love this! I wear it at bedtime so it doesn't matter to me whether it lasts or not...it lasts long enough for me to fall asleep in a sweet floral cloud...

My husband loves this on me :) he never stop kissing me and sniff everytime I wear this. ♥ and tells me "You're soooo delicious HOney I want to eat you..." lol :D

Got a sample from Sephora, tried it today. It smells really really good. But the lasting power sucks!! Ugh! I hate that, therefore would never purchase it.

My most complimented fragrance by men. Wears more like a body spray and has very minimal longevity. Fun and flirty fragrance though! I love it

Strawberries, tropical, berry sweetness, a hint of flowers...Paradise. This is what I think of when I smell this fragrance.

Wow this one smells greeeat like, a more floral lighter version of the original! Want...!!

If you took an empty perfume bottle...filled it up 70% of the way with the original "Viva La Juicy" perfume and 30% up with Britney Spears' "Radiance" perfume...it would spit out "La Fleur." Britney Spears actually shares two notes with this perfume. The red berries note (and the berries note smells IDENTICAL in both perfumes)...as well as Jasmine in the floral accord. And this perfume as others have mentioned, yes...it shares the DNA of the original VLJ perfume as the foundation of this flanker. So think of it this way...it's the original VLJ perfume with the gourmand aspect (meaning the vanilla, caramel, and sweet accord) turned WAY down...the floral accord turned WAY up...and some juicy red berries thrown in. That's how this smells. And yes, performance isn't great as tons of people below me have said. However...I have two tips that will help with this. #1, soaking yourself in this will help. This is NOT a perfume to use only 1-2 sprays of. Not even 3-4 sprays. You'll wanna spray 10-15 sprays of this or you'll only get 2 hours out of it. And #2, half of the sprays that you use...spray on your clothing and hair. I use about 3-4 sprays on each arm, about 3 sprays on my neck, about 3-4 sprays on the front of my shirt, and another 3-4 sprays on the back of my head to my hair. Doing that not only improves projection, but will get you about 4 hours of this scent. The scent itself is an easy, care-free, happy, uplifting, spring time perfume. I would've voted above with a love but due to performance I gave it a "like" vote. Longevity - If used sparingly...you'll only get 90 minutes, maybe 2 hours. If used as I instructed you should easily get 4 hours out of it which I personally consider "average." Not great but passable in my book. Projection - Again...if used as I use it, you'll get at least decent projection. About 2 feet. If only a 1-4 sprays...you'll only get a foot or so of throw. The good news is...that this is not only super cheap...but they make it in a 5 oz bottle which I LOVE that they did that. So even using a ton of sprays...the bottle will last & last. I easily consider this perfume a crowd pleaser and blind-buy safe however, just be prepared to need a LOT of sprays to get any performance out of it. Overall score - 7.5/10. I own the original Viva La Juicy, as well as the Gold Couture flanker, the Noir flanker in the purple bottle, Hollywood Royal, Viva La Juicy So Intense, and now this. A lot of people state how they "all smell the same." And I disagree. There's a difference between perfumes smelling exactly the same, and smelling similar. I personally like all of the ones that I just listed. This may not be the most mature perfume but we all need some of those care-free, youthful, sweet, uplifting scents in our collection. This would be the perfect perfume to wear on a drive down to the shore. Thumbs up Juicy on such a happy, pretty release!

I test both Viva La Juicy vs Fleur on both sides of my wrist to see the difference. It is very interesting that there are so many people that hated this fragrance according to reviews. I believe most people who hated are those of the original VLJ fans. If you're never a fan of VLJ, you will see this fragrant from different eyes. For me, I was instantaneously in love with this fragrant the first time I smelled it on tester paper. Because VLJ gives me such a massive head ache , I was never a fan to begin with. La Fleur on the other hand does open just like VLJ but lighter, less cloying, less high fructose corn syrupy, and less fatty. Some reviewers claim that it is a water down version of VLJ (or body spray version ). It does smell like a water down VLJ initially. I personally find La Fleur a lot more tolerable than VLJ. I had to take a second look to see what it was that I just tested. To me, it's a beautiful fragrant made almost to perfection. I am not a fan of floral scents but this one is really memorable. After about 30 minutes both fragrances dry down to completely different scents. I no longer smell any resemblance between the two. VLJ is a strong perfume but it actually doesn't last as long as La Fleur on me. It could just be my body chemistry as perfumes react differently to different body chemistry. I used the same volume of perfumes on both sides of my wrist to make sure it's not the difference in dosages that cause faulty result of staying power. La Fleur is made to stay close to the skin. While it's projection isn't as far as VLF it's actually longer lasting than VLJ. VLJ smells sharper while FLeur is more rounded less acrid less sharp to my senses. LA Fleur smells less desperate and VLJ . I personally like La Fleur more, but then again, I was never a fan of VLJ to start with. The VLJ fan would probably hate this fragrant because it is nothing like the original that they think they are getting a double dose of. I think it's a nice change that Juicy Couture starting to make a less offensive fragrance. They usually do very loud fragrances in the past. I might consider purchase this one. It's sweet, slightly floral, mildly creamy but not too fatty. This is more of a modern perfume Juicy Couture is making deviating away from the old perfume styles decades ago that project across the room. One thing for sure, with La Fleur, no one is going to say crap about you behind your back the moment you leave the room because of your atrocious perfume.

The notes aren't up yet, but I will do my best to describe it blind! I’m wearing VLJ on my left wrist and VLJ La Fleur on my right. At first sniff, La Fleur is much lighter. It is sweet and fruity and floral but very soft. There is a hint of citrus which smells to me like grapefruit or a hint of lemon and orange. The sweetness comes from the fruit rather than caramel or candy. In comparison, VLJ smells much stronger and candy sweet. After a few minutes: VLJ develops that nice sweet caramel, getting a little warmer as it sits on my skin. La Fleur is still soft, ethereal, and floral. It’s definitely less sweet than VLJ, and it has a little bit of a buttered caramel popcorn in there but not nearly to the extent as VLJ, which is overwhelmingly caramel. I think La Fleur is great because of how soft and feminine it is. If you are looking for something less sweet than VLJ, go for La Fleur. It’s a great summer perfume. About 30 minutes later I can really see the difference. VLJ is warm, rich, and like buttery caramel with a slight vanilla muskiness. The La Fleur is still much softer, even with 4 sprays on one wrist. La Fleur smells like it has a more “general” floral note rather than one specific one dominating and it’s hard to detect any one type of flower. There’s a sugared, fruity peachy/pear quality to it which reminds me of Katy Perry’s Meow but without the soapy note. The drydown of La Fleur also hints at a soft sandalwood and a very slight hint of coconut but remains mostly fruity. Overall impression: There isn’t much in common with the two when compared side by side except that they are both sweet and yummy. Bottom line, stick with VLJ for winter and check out this beauty for a fresh, sweet summer treat. Edit: It's been a few hours now, and the scent is gone. I'm surprised since I put 4 sprays on my wrist, but it's almost nonexistant. Too bad the scent doesn't have lasting power because it's really juicy and yummy.

a sensational beautiful sweet sheer elegant floral.. coming from some one who is not head over heels for flowers and roses and white florals..its a simple clean elegant beautiful lovely vibrant sensuale young dreamy perfume weather it lasts this way or not its not my concern but i am reviewing how i am smelling it now i still didn't ware it all day ..something in it is just very pleasant you want to keep smelling your hand or wherever you apply it ..it melts with your skin as if your skin soaks it up and transforms it in to something balmy or velvety or the make up bases made of silicone you know that hair serum texture i feel the perfume actually changes wonderfully in to something more sultry..yet innocent..sweet but not sickeningly so .. its a fine perfume and imagine i am reviewing it afte reviewing some heavy weight champions ..and its still holding up coming from a lower rank but its holding its place with dignity and agility..for its a simple pleasurable juice of life.. edt 150 ml perfume rating 4.3 out 5 ottle ratting 4.3 out 5 my personal liking rating 4.3 out 5

Along with the original Viva La Juicy sample, I also received a sample of this one. And first of all, I will say that I like this one a lot more. In fact, I actually really like it. But like most Juicy Couture fragrances, it isn't exactly what I'd call unique. It starts off smelling like a lighter version of Radiance by Britney Spears, then it starts to change into a similar version of the original Viva La Juicy, only more fruity and light. I honestly have no clue why they named it 'La Fleur' because I get barely any florals out of this fragrance, and even the florals I can pick out are just generic blended florals to tame the fruits and make them a little bit more subtle. Unlike the original, the caramel is less noticeable and intense. It doesn't really stand out which is probably why this version seems lighter. So, as I said, I like it more than the original but if you're looking for a unique scent for everyday wear, this is not for you.

I was pleasantly surprised with this one! It's a really pretty scent :) I've only smelled one other fragrance in the Viva la Juicy line - Gold Couture which was a bit too sweet but I'm so glad I took a chance on this one! I agree with some of the other reviews which say that this is a less sweet and intense version of Gold Couture tempered with the florals. This is a more subtle vanilla and caramel which I like. Certain florals/fruit combinations give me an instant headache, so I was surprised that VLJ La Fleur of all fragrances didn't bring that on. To my nose, this was the right balance of sweet with subtle flowers - not overly caramely, not overly white floral. I wish longevity was a bit better but I got 3 hours, although by the 3rd hour, it was a skin scent. But considering the steal of a price I got it at, I'm not complaining and I don't mind respraying. Overall a pleasantly surprisingly positive purchase.

This perfume is very different from the Viva La Juicy line which tend to be sweet and fruity. These notes are felt briefly when you first spray it on. But then it quickly dries down to a clean soft fresh floral scent which it's meant to be. It's meant to be a clean fresh floral scent and in this aspect it delivers. You clearly smell a mix of the white floral of honeysuckle, gardenia and jasmine. My problem is that it is not long lasting and might have to re-spray. Also, if you have dry skin the scent will go even faster. I tested it on my skin and on a test strip and on my skin (have dry skin) it didn't last but on the test strip it smelled like a beautiful bouquet of florals. Very nice and inoffensive. A women can wear this to the office and not offend anyone since it drys down to a nice floral base which is elegant.

since original Viva La Juicy is my life source, I was naturally hesitant to try this. I smelled it and was pissed at Juicy Couture for putting out this "new" scent. as far as I was concerned, this was Viva La Juicy with "La Fleur" slapped on the end and put in a different bottle. I couldn't believe they would do such a thing. but then, I could because its a typical marketing trick. after a while I smelled it side by side with Viva La Juicy. I actually detected the difference. La Fleur is lighter and fresher then original VLJ. it is much more floral (surprise surprise) and, IMHO, is more suitable for a daily frag during the warmer months of the year. I have totally changed my opinion on this scent and I would love to make it a part of my collection.
