Viva La Juicy So Intense

I don't own this fragrance yet, however I did try a test of it at Dillard's. At first spray, I would have agreed with you all on the "smells the same as Viva La Juicy" thing, but I let it sit on my wrist, and it transformed into something much nicer than I've ever smelled coming from a VLJ bottle (except for VLJ Gold Couture, which wins all Juicy fragrances in every way, in fact all womens' fragrances in general, by a landslide) I'd compare it to having a snowcone with finally enough syrup in it to taste delicious. The original VLJ is skimping on the syrup. I am absolutely certain that they smell different, it is just a very subtle difference.

I was able to get my hands on this last year and since I realized discontinued, I blind-bough immediately. I imagined the bottles of this and original VLJ would be identical, but nope. The bow this bottle has is solid. I must admit this smells nearly identical to the original. BUT it's got an extra something I do love. Maybe it's extra preline? Fruity/sweet heaven. And It DOES last longer than originally VLJ but nothing amazing (like 4-5 hours). I would have to say, this and VLJ noir are my favorite of the VLJ collection

I bought Viva La Juicy when it was first released and loved it (bought and used 3 full bottles) and got annoyed because the longevity would decrease with each bottle purchase... until down to literally 1-2 hours. My very first bottle lasted 7 hours! I loved the scent but got fed up with decreasing quality. I blind bought this on the internet for a good price. I'm glad I took the risk! Smells exactly like the original that I remember, but lasts around 5 hours. Love it! Update: lasts 10+ hours on clothing

This is great! I’m not sure who thinks this is weak but from the OG to this there is a huge difference in strength, lasting power, and sillage. You can smell this all around you once it’s on. I think this is a great addition to an already great line up! This is the OG just better performance. I find this one slightly sweeter and more rounded but that’s if I’m being picky. The main difference is performance. If you love the OG or the gold this is almost the same just better overall in any category!

I absolutely ADORE the original Viva La Juicy. It's such a happy, uplifting, effervescent fragrance. But I literally had to re-apply it every 20 minutes or so to get any scent at all. I purchased this in the hopes it would be a longer-lasting version of the original. It is, but unfortunately not by much. This lasts about 40 minutes on me. Hoping to get my hands on the Extrait version to see if that fares any better.

I did try this at the store I work at (Lord & Taylor) it's very similar to the original as I had expected. I won't be forking over $100 to have this in my collection. I do like it, but it's not even any different in my opinion than the original Viva La Juicy. Maybe only true Juicy fans will buy this, but I see no reason for it especially if you already have the original.

Ya might know Juicy Couture would jump on the bandwagon of other fragrance houses putting out the same perfumes in DIFFERENT bottles and calling them INTENSE, how annoying.

smells so good but the weak longevity absolutely ruins it (·•᷄_•᷅ )... I used to really love this perfume because of how long it lasted (which tbh wasn't a lot either probably from 1/2 hours but the bottle is cute and small so I didn't mind carrying it around to reapply it) but for some reason the longevity decreased after I bought a 3rd one.. I wouldn't buy one again tbh you shouldn't be paying 50/50 for uncertainty.

Mmmmm. I think people are missing the point. I also work at a big store at their fragrance counter and was pumped when this came out. This IS the EXACT same scent as viva la juicy, it's supposed to be, they aren't trying to hide it? It is an eau de parfum vs an eau de toilette. Meaning less water and alcohol and more scent. It's the grown up version so it lasts longer hence being called "so intense". People complaining about it smelling the same need to actually read the bottle and description. Many fragrances have both toilets and parfums available for the same scent. Parfums are always more expensive but will last longer and seeing as the original viva la juicy toilette fades I am over the moon about the parfum version! My absolute favorite and will replace my original vlj until they stop making it. (Please don't!) you will not sniff any difference from the bottle but if you she ever worn viva and are sad about how it fades, this one is for you. True juicy fans will love it and are not disappointed!

I don't get why people expect this to be different to Viva la juicy. It is called the same name because it is the same perfume but more intense (stronger). If you buy a concentrated version of the same product why would it be different. Is it too hard to understand or something! If it was meant to smell different it would have a different name. Same name same perfume. Those people who don't get it shouldn't be buying perfume in the first place, the should stick to impulse

Ok so I guess this works better in cold days,well for me it does because I wore this 4 days ago and it stayed there on my clothes till the next day and the smell changed,it smells like viva la juicy but a little bit grown up. Everyone at work was liek "smells good" "whos wearing that perfume? I want to know what it is!" In hot days it may not smell the same I would recommend it for cold days!

It is the same scent as I have both BUT to me it is actually more intense and the original does not last on me more than a couple of hours whereas this one lasts all day. I was not going to buy anything else from JC because of the longevity issue I have with the 3 I own but got this one as a gift and I am so happy there is finally a JC that lasts on me and it smells really delicious as well.

One of the worst lines for flankers. As someone who works in fragrances at a flagship store, no one has respect for this line anymore and that's due to the horrible flankers.

I absolutely love Viva La Juicy So Intense, but scent longevity is just awful. It disappears in 10 minutes on my skin...boo hoo:(

It's the same exact scent, just a different bottle! Was hoping it would be different, but it's exactly the same.
