Viva La Juicy Soiree

I know that Viva la Juicy it's not everyone's favorite... I know that VLJ Soireè is not the best of the VLJ collection... But I don't know how to explain how well this sits on my skin. At first, it's really really soft and hard to notice, when I sniff it in the store I was convinced that my nostrils weren't as sensitive and I bought it anyways, later when I sprayed it on, it was... like nothing happened. If you're hoping to get a powerful strong girly-like scent out of this fragrance, your half wrong, this IS NOT STRONG But it's definitely girly. It's true that it lasts better on clothes and hair than it does on skin, take that into account... You have to wait at least 30 minutes for the fragrance to start showing up. It depends a lot on where do you spray it and how many sprays do you use First, you can't wear this fragrance when you skip a shower because it disappears instantly due to the natural oils of the skin. Second, use body lotion before applying, one that's subtle but fruity scented (not B&BW and absolutely not the VS ones) Third, choose wisely where to apply it... I don't recommend spraying it directly on the neck because that's where it vanishes the most rapidly, instead you can spray it in the back of your neck right under your hair, behind your ears, inside your elbows... and if you're wearing a pashmina scarf or something similar (since this fragrance doesn't go with cold weather) spray a bit on it and it'll last longer And finally fourth, enjoy the fragrance while it lasts on you, reapply, buy another bottle if you liked it... It's not about how much you spend or save on a perfume, it's about it matching yourself, complimenting you. It doesn't have to be Juicy Couture's or expensive designer ones, if you smell it, and if you try it and if you feel that it suits you better than any other fragrance, give it a go. I'm sorry for the length, but I had to show this one some love since it's my signature and favourite fragrance <3

I snagged a 3.4oz bottle on eBay as a tester. So perfect bottle. Just no box. Which I was fine with. Full new bottle. Love the bottle and the design. The unique charms and crystal tops allure me to the Juicy collections. Main thing I loved about this was the design and the notes were more floral fruity. It deff is. I wore it to work today and got TONS of compliments. Oddly enough I did not really smell this on myself at all. Which was ok. I got hints of it. Here and there. It’s fruity more than floral and does remind me a bit of Hollywood Royal juicy and La Fleur threw a Soiree and had Soiree as their baby. It’s got the good mix of the 2. But apprantly a great staying power. I was happy to get the compliments and had one girl tell me “this what you’re wearing works with a guys chemistry very well this is a good one for you”. So glad I got it!

I don't currently own this one, so my opinion is based off of a sample. I like this a lot! I usually have mixed feelings towards JC perfumes but this one is an exception. Do I like it enough to buy it? Yep, I will. Not sure when, given its price point (it's quite expensive imo) being the way it is. When I do get this though, I imagine that I will wear it often. It's the type of scent that is really easy on the nose to where it can be worn often. Even casually, too. I think what makes me like this particular one so much is the kiwi, jasmine, ane amber notes. Same witb the other notes too, but especially the one I mentioned.

First of all I love it! I do understand the haters too though. This is not a perfume for the introverted. For me it is a loud fruity sugary aquatic summer perfume for ladies that feel 20 something in their hearts and minds. It reminds me of other perfumes from the 90s too like CK one which I adored 20 years ago. This one is fruity though but with the same aquatic vibe. It agrees with my skin chemistry and makes me happy when it is hot and sunny outside. Doesn ́t last very long on skin. On clothes and hair, yes. This is my little gem for the summer 2019:) so glad I found it on offer at Boots for 10 pounds! 30 ml. wow

Fruity, floral, sweet, bright, and fresh. It has a strong tropical feel to me. Playful, casual, cheerful. As the look of the bottle implies, there's nothing serious about it. It will be nice to wear in summertime. Not so great in terms of staying power, but decent projection at first. Cute bottle, exactly what you'd expect a Viva la Juicy fragrance to be packaged in. Heavy glass, feels substantial in hand, the embellishments don't look flimsy or cheap. Tacky? Maybe. But not in a cheap way. It's my second favorite flanker so far (favorite is rose).
