Viva La Juicy Soiree

I know that Viva la Juicy it's not everyone's favorite... I know that VLJ Soireè is not the best of the VLJ collection... But I don't know how to explain how well this sits on my skin. At first, it's really really soft and hard to notice, when I sniff it in the store I was convinced that my nostrils weren't as sensitive and I bought it anyways, later when I sprayed it on, it was... like nothing happened. If you're hoping to get a powerful strong girly-like scent out of this fragrance, your half wrong, this IS NOT STRONG But it's definitely girly. It's true that it lasts better on clothes and hair than it does on skin, take that into account... You have to wait at least 30 minutes for the fragrance to start showing up. It depends a lot on where do you spray it and how many sprays do you use First, you can't wear this fragrance when you skip a shower because it disappears instantly due to the natural oils of the skin. Second, use body lotion before applying, one that's subtle but fruity scented (not B&BW and absolutely not the VS ones) Third, choose wisely where to apply it... I don't recommend spraying it directly on the neck because that's where it vanishes the most rapidly, instead you can spray it in the back of your neck right under your hair, behind your ears, inside your elbows... and if you're wearing a pashmina scarf or something similar (since this fragrance doesn't go with cold weather) spray a bit on it and it'll last longer And finally fourth, enjoy the fragrance while it lasts on you, reapply, buy another bottle if you liked it... It's not about how much you spend or save on a perfume, it's about it matching yourself, complimenting you. It doesn't have to be Juicy Couture's or expensive designer ones, if you smell it, and if you try it and if you feel that it suits you better than any other fragrance, give it a go. I'm sorry for the length, but I had to show this one some love since it's my signature and favourite fragrance <3

I snagged a 3.4oz bottle on eBay as a tester. So perfect bottle. Just no box. Which I was fine with. Full new bottle. Love the bottle and the design. The unique charms and crystal tops allure me to the Juicy collections. Main thing I loved about this was the design and the notes were more floral fruity. It deff is. I wore it to work today and got TONS of compliments. Oddly enough I did not really smell this on myself at all. Which was ok. I got hints of it. Here and there. It’s fruity more than floral and does remind me a bit of Hollywood Royal juicy and La Fleur threw a Soiree and had Soiree as their baby. It’s got the good mix of the 2. But apprantly a great staying power. I was happy to get the compliments and had one girl tell me “this what you’re wearing works with a guys chemistry very well this is a good one for you”. So glad I got it!

I don't currently own this one, so my opinion is based off of a sample. I like this a lot! I usually have mixed feelings towards JC perfumes but this one is an exception. Do I like it enough to buy it? Yep, I will. Not sure when, given its price point (it's quite expensive imo) being the way it is. When I do get this though, I imagine that I will wear it often. It's the type of scent that is really easy on the nose to where it can be worn often. Even casually, too. I think what makes me like this particular one so much is the kiwi, jasmine, ane amber notes. Same witb the other notes too, but especially the one I mentioned.

First of all I love it! I do understand the haters too though. This is not a perfume for the introverted. For me it is a loud fruity sugary aquatic summer perfume for ladies that feel 20 something in their hearts and minds. It reminds me of other perfumes from the 90s too like CK one which I adored 20 years ago. This one is fruity though but with the same aquatic vibe. It agrees with my skin chemistry and makes me happy when it is hot and sunny outside. Doesn ́t last very long on skin. On clothes and hair, yes. This is my little gem for the summer 2019:) so glad I found it on offer at Boots for 10 pounds! 30 ml. wow

Fruity, floral, sweet, bright, and fresh. It has a strong tropical feel to me. Playful, casual, cheerful. As the look of the bottle implies, there's nothing serious about it. It will be nice to wear in summertime. Not so great in terms of staying power, but decent projection at first. Cute bottle, exactly what you'd expect a Viva la Juicy fragrance to be packaged in. Heavy glass, feels substantial in hand, the embellishments don't look flimsy or cheap. Tacky? Maybe. But not in a cheap way. It's my second favorite flanker so far (favorite is rose).

I’m always carefully listening for comments on what I’m wearing and when I get a huge “you smell delicious!” comment, that is a sign to buy a whiole bottle immediately! This is not nearly a sugary-sweet as the original and has a bit of musky maturity to it that separates it from the candy scents my students wear (that I still love smelling in my room!). Soft, yet attention-grabbing.. it makes me think of an attractive older lady that is comfortable with her age but still knows how to have fun. My fourth JC to purchase and my fave to date!

This has Victoria Secret Pink Clean And Fresh all over it very different from the rest of the others! If you liked it and remember the splash this is up your alley. I have all viva La Juicy perfumes but one ;rose. The sweet and vanilla aura is there trademark stays constant in the background , what changes in the diff stories of the perfumes(as I like to call them sorry don't like the word flankers lol) is there fruitiness and style . Also warm or chilled. SS = Spray strength 3 SS = 6 hrs Good longevity

Fresh & fruity but not overwhelmingly strong. It’s a very girly scent. Perfect for a teenager. It’s a beautiful fragrance and has quickly became a favorite. I got a travel size from LUXSB sub box. I loved it so much I dropped $347 on a 100ml bottle on eBay. Most expensive bottle I’ve ever bought. It’s worth it though. I’m so scared to make this my signature scent because that means I’ll have to buy another bottle(s) in the future when this one is empty.

I tried this yesterday and I love it! It does have kind of that Vlj La Fleur vibe to it. I think this was done with the right amount of jasmine to it because sometimes the jasmine notes can be a bit much. This seems to have just the right amount of all notes mentioned above, not to mention the packaging is so pretty! I am definitely getting this one for sure!

This is a beautiful scent and my personal favorite of the Juicy Couture scents! It is very fruity and refreshing, making it perfect for the spring and summer, but it can be worn anytime. On me, this lasts a long time, and when I originally tested it and sprayed it on my coat sleeve, I could still smell it two days later.

This will definitely be my “Go To” summer scent!! It reminds me of happy care-free vacation summertime! It is not too fruity or sweet to me because it is carefully balanced with a clean kiwi and green scent. The musk, amber, and woodsy notes makes the perfume a very sexy scent. My husband absolutely loves this on me!!

My favourite spring/summertime perfume. Was so sad to hear it was discontinued. It smells so fresh and sweet. It lasts about 5 hours on me and the scent stays consistent. I have a couple of juicy couture perfumes and this one lasts the longest.

One of my favorite perfumes. I prefer this over the og VLJ. Really wish they still sold this or that someone would sell theirs on ebay but it seems impossible to get this again <3 It’s fresh and sweet, really picking up those kiwi notes

This smells to me like a children's fruity shampoo. And I don't say it in a bad way, but not in a very good way either, it's so and so for me. I collect VLJ bottles and I got the full-sized bottle for a very good price so I'm not mad at all, I think this is a fresh, fruity mix that is quite refreshing in the heat. I don't smell the woody notes at all - all I'm getting is fresh, juicy kiwi (and red watermelon, even though it's not in the notes) and other nondescript fruits. It's not a very sweet fragrance, the sweetness comes from the fruits, it's like a fruit salad, a bit sour and a bit sweet. I get a slight artificial vibe from this, same I'd get from a drugstore kid's shampoo or body mist. It's kind of generic and honestly, if I wouldn't have collected the bottles I wouldn't have considered getting this even for a very good deal. It's just your generic fruity - fresh body mist/shampoo/juice scent, you've smelled this before in a form or another and the longevity is nothing to rave about. It's not bad per se, but there are plenty other fragrances that are miles ahead of this in terms of the fruity scent they're evoking.

I received this as a sample with an online order...and I almost didn't try it because a few other Juicy fragrances were "scrubbers" for me. I also find some of Juicy's marketing a little cringe inducing. Anyhoo... This reminds me of a body splash with higher quality ingredients. Substantial, but light and fresh. Simple and enjoyable. Kiwi, aquatic with a hint of white florals. Nice spring/summer scent to bring cooling respite from the overwhelming heat. Lasting power is about 4 hours with a mild silage (about arms length) in a dry climate with with central cooling/heating. Decent little warm weather scent, however...it's very possible I'd be able to find something relatively similar for a better price. So, I'll enjoy it while I have the sample, but I'm doubtful that I'll invest in a bottle after it runs out.

I really enjoy how Viva La Juicy Soiree begins -- juicy, tart and fruity. I'm assuming it's the kiwi note that gives it that delicious opening. As it settles, the fruitiness dies down and floral notes emerge. However, at this point, it becomes an indistinct fruity-floral-musky blend that gives off a shampoo vibe to me. Not bad at all, but not something I'd look for. I wish the bright opening lasted longer. I'll use up my decant but wouldn't need more. The fragrance lasts well enough on me. I sprayed it on around nine hours ago and I'm still catching whiffs of it from my shirt. I could still smell it on my skin when I press my arm to my nose.

I was really surprised to see the negative reviews on this one. I actually really enjoyed this! It's the perfect combination of fresh & fruity sweet! It's an excellent wear for spring & summer - something about it also has a dash of tropicalness and would defiantly be a grab for an island vacation. The kiwi really does give this fragrance a unique kick in the best way possible! I could smell this on myself for the entire 5 hours it lasted. I will be buying a full size bottle to add to my collection! :)

This was quite a "sour" perfume and gave me Sourpatch Kids vibes when I wore it. I think it is bright, fruity, and fun. I definitely liked it, but I didn't love it, so I swapped it out for something else. This is a very orange-dominant fragrance. So if you are looking for fun, fruity, and flirty...and maybe just a tad on the younger side, I don't think you will be disappointed.

I do like the kiwi scent. It's the third vlj perfume I own so I wouldn't know much about the one people mentioned below. To me, it's something I'd just wear during summertime. It's fruity and gives a tropical/beach vibe. Pretty sad it doesn't last that long on me though.

This one to me smells super fruity sweet, like a tropical cocktail. If you like Escada summer limited editions or that typical celebrity scent vibe (nicki minaj etc) you will like it. I personally quite like it for what it is, a fun and carefree scent.

This is as sweet, exotic and fruity as the other fragrances from that line. A nice smelling, but nothing new. It would be good for someone how collects bottles. Similar to sweet and exotic body sprays, but better.

Fruity, fresh, floral, tropical, and fun. Way too "young" for me, but I don't care, I wear it in summertime anyway. Sillage is moderate, longevity is fair. Of all the VLJ flankers, it's one of my favorites.

A little similar to la fleur but la fleur is so much better! Lasts about 6 hours, but in my opinion, this has been the most unimpressive VLJ I’ve had. At least the bottle looks pretty amazing!

Lovely bottle..lovely packaging..lovely scent only for the first hour..then it starts to fade and dissapear..had to really sniff on my wrist to.find the scent. It is sad.

It’s smells fruity and fresh but has poor longevity.

This smells like any of the summer fruity scents you can buy at Bath and Bodyworks. Nothing sophisticated or even appealing about this because it's kind of overpowering. It smells like fruit candy, (the pink or grape now and laters to be precise, or a jolly rancher) and I just think you can't really wear this on most occasions. It's not office appropriate, it's not inviting and too youthful. Good sillage and lasting power though, ill give it that.

This smells very artifical and juvenile. I'm sorry! It smells like supermarket kiwi-scented shampoo for kids. Nothing attractive about this perfume at all. Again, I'm sorry but I'd rather be honest here. No sophistication. No elegance. No charm. Not comforting. Not sensual. Not...anything. But fun maybe? I'm not sure, but not for me. I'm just glad I didn't spend money this as I was given it as a gift. Straight to the bin it went.

Remember those cheap body splash’s you got when you were 14? This smellls like those. Absolutely identical to the hollister body sprays. It smells like cheap fruity body splash. Very very fruity. If you are 14 then perhaps you will like that. If you are older that that? Whatyoudoin? The longevity is also worse than a body splash.

Maybe it's just how the perfume reacts to my skin, but it smells strongly of artificial grape. I think I had a grape body spray that smelled exactly like this when I was 8. After about ten minutes, the only thing I can smell is grape candy. All of the other notes disappear to me. I love Juicy perfumes, but this ain't it.

My gosh, this perfume. I received a small sample of this, and am currently using it up by spraying it on my legs and chest before bed. I'll say this: while I technically like the scent well enough, it is not something I'd ever wear outside of the home or purchase a full bottle of. Far too juvenile, in my opinion.

Very, very similar to the original Viva La Juicy. This one dried down to a more artificial plastic scent though, which is disappointing as I loved the bottle. I got rid of it nearly as soon as I bought it.

Ok millenials, who remembers the strawberry banana lotion from limited too when u were a kid? Bc that's what this smells like. That mixed with viva la fleur

It doesn't smell bad at all but it gave me an asthma attack when it was sprayed near me. First time in my life reacting to a perfume...

This smells just like tropical bubble gum, completely gross

Man, this smells like straight up ASS! I close my eyes, smell this perfume and I see a bunch of unwashed men in the gym who reek of BO after they tried soaking it up with Lynx Africa. Bottle is cute but it smells like sweat, shit and vomit. Anyone who buys this for you, wants you dead. There's no need for hitmen when this perfume exists!

I absolutely adore this perfume. And let me go right ahead and say that I hate wording this the way I'm about to because it almost sounds like I'm reviewing a deodorant. I'm in the south and it's been so hot here for the summer. I spray this perfume on and the first words that come to my mind are 'cooling' and 'refreshing'. All of my perfumes are kept at room temperature and this wonderful perfume really does feel cooling when you spray it on. The bulk of what I get from this perfume is the kiwi and it's done very pleasantly. I know how a lot of people complain about how strong the kiwi note is in Britney Spears Fantasy and it's not that strong imo. I have quite a few Juicy Couture perfumes and they're pretty much how I feel about Britney's perfume line. I know I'll get something I'll really enjoy. I love this perfume so much that I hope I'm able to get another bottle for Christmas. I had received this bottle on my birthday a few months ago and and I'm halfway through the bottle. I think that's how you can tell which perfumes are "classics" for you. You want to get a replacement on hand even before you run out of the original bottle! Also must give praise to the bottle itself. The bottle starts out very clear on the bottom and then it blends into a frosted look. There's "paint splatters" on the bottle itself in a pretty purple and pink color. The charms on the bottle are cute. One charm is like a little party mask and the other charm is a corkscrew. Can't say it enough, this perfume is AMAZING!

In terms of the entire Juicy Couture line, this has to be my favourite next to ‘Gold Couture’. It’s fresh, juicy, sweet, fruity and light. It literally smells upon first application like a fresh bursting kiwi. It’s gorgeous. Perfect for summer or spring. We have finally got a nice kiwi perfume that doesn’t smell like the reformulated garbage that is Fantasy by Britney Spears. Yes - this is similar to many body splashes and some would say it’s generic. But when you look at it for what it is - it’s a very beautiful arrangement of notes that has a bit more depth, and lasting power than a knock off body spray. If you’re a Juicy fan and have the cash to spend, definitely try it. Plus let’s be real... Juicy Couture makes the most beautiful flankers. I’ll also note this is extremely perfect for any occasion as it’s not offensive or strong in any way. So it’s perfect for that “I smell great but didn’t put anything on” situation or if your not technically allowed to wear fragrance at work. If you want super sweet, get Gold Couture or Sucré, if you want sweet but sensual, get the original Juicy or Noir (however Noir I hated - it smelled like stale syrup). If you want light fruity, get this. The kiwi sets this apart from all the other generics out there, I can’t emphasize this enough. It’s fruit done right!

Ps I don’t agree it smells like now and laters candies at all! If u know what love pink perfume by VS smells like then there u go lol! It’s strong and floral but vanilla but not candy vanilla , to me it’s a very strong viva la juicy smell which I love with a twist of love pink haha I still want to get the sucree because it dosent smell ANYTHING like the other viva flankers out there! Soft whip cream and powdered sugar yum! The softest one without any SHARP NOTES TO RUB U THE WRONG WAY:)

Blind bought this. Very, very similar to VLJ La Fleur. The same main tart fruity note with no vanilla. The fruity note is not really specific, it definitely does not smell like kiwi. If anything it smells like mandarin slightly. It has distant echoes of the original VLJ but the tart, sour fruity notes mixed with light florals is a dead ringer for LF. La Fleur was my least favorite VLJ flanker, I disliked it so much I sold it. Hopefully I can sell this too lol.

I've found what I've been looking for! I know I fancied a fruity bomb this summer however lots that I'd tried smelled very synthetic and like a cheap happy hour cocktail. This is different it smells like the most refreshing fruit punch made with natural fruit. There is sweetness there but the 'greens' keep it fresh and not sickly. There is something very cool underneath the fruits that is hard to describe almost like mint which practically quenches my thirst.

It smells really nice but there is nothing knew here in the VLJ line. It is not enough sophisticated nor sexy to be a ''soirée'' scent and just does not suits its name. I would call it : Summer fun fruit cocktail.. or something like that. Love the mask on the bottle though.

Recently made a purchase at HSN and got a sample of this where you pull the flap and I love the smell but it reminds me of vlj la fleur. (Maybe it's just me) but it's slightly different and love the kiwi scent at first sniff so I'm definitely getting the 3.4fl oz of this.

Two words: juice box. I usually enjoy the juicy couture line and fruity scents - but not this one. I would say this is a scent for a young girl as her first perfume or that you could maybe spray on as a light after shower scent (if you like it) but, it's not for me.

Smells like a sibling of Glace and Sucree with Hollywood Royal and La Fleur as parents. :) Not a bad thing at all and quite appropriate for the upcoming spring/summer months.

Smells like sweet tarts candy with musk. It’s fun especially if your a collector! I think this is a cool flanker because it has its own unique twist:)

This smells just like my Victoria Secret Pink” Love Pink “ perfume ! So if you have it, don’t waste 78$ bucks lol
