Viva La Juicy Sucre

Sweet, fruity, juicy, bright, citrusy, creamy, warm, floral, woody, feminine, pretty, flirty, playful, uplifting, cheerful, yummy On me this opens sweet, fruity, and floral with bright red currant, citrusy mandarin orange, lush gardenia, sweet and juicy peach, creamy and delicious almond crème, fresh jasmine, and sweet and softly citrusy orange blossom. As it dries down it becomes even more sweet and yummy with creamy and fluffy whipped cream, warm and sensual vanilla, a soft touch of cacao, and woody and creamy sandalwood. The notes that are the most prominent on me are the mandarin orange, orange blossom, peach, almond crème, vanilla, and whipped cream. I really enjoy these Viva La Juicy fragrances, and own 4 of them... The OG, Gold Couture, Noir, and Sucré. My favorite is Sucré, followed closely by the OG and Gold (they’re tied). Yes, these do have a somewhat youthful feel to them, but I feel like they can be worn by women of any age (I’m 37 and still love wearing this!). Sucré feels fitting to wear year round. I think it works best for at home, work/school, and casual occasions. I thought it might be helpful if I wrote a little bit about each of the 4 Viva La Juicy fragrances that I own... ✨Viva La Juicy - Bright and juicy with white florals, and a warm gourmand base. It’s versatile like most of the others, and works well year round. I think it’s actually very similar to VS Tease. ✨Viva La Juicy Gold - Sweet, warm, and yummy with caramel and vanilla, and top notes of berries, white florals, and vanilla orchid. It’s a little bit warmer and heavier than Sucré. My second favorite of the line. I think it works best during the fall and winter. ✨Viva La Juicy Noir - Extremely similar to the OG. Like so much so that I can barely detect a difference. If you have one of them, it’s unlikely that you actually need both. ✨Viva La Juicy Sucré - My favorite of the line. It’s the most sweet and gourmand along with Gold Couture. It’s versatile like most of the others, and works well year round. For reference, some of my favorite sweet and/or gourmand fragrances include Kayali Yum Boujee Marshmallow, Kayali The Wedding Silk Santal, Kayali Vanilla 28, Kayali Vanilla Candy Rock Sugar, Kayali Yum Pistachio Gelato, The 7 Virtues Vanilla Woods, Kilian LDBS, PDM Oriana, Pink Sugar, Gold Sugar, Pink Sugar Berry Blast, Ellis Brooklyn Marshmallows, Phlur Heavy Cream, Phlur Vanilla Skin, Phlur Caramel Skin, SDJ Summer é Amor, SDJ 39, SDJ 62, VS Vanilla Lace, B&BW Boardwalk Marshmallow Clouds I get great performance with Viva La Juicy Sucré. The longevity is very good, it lasts at least 7+ hours. The projection is nice too, it radiates out at least an arm’s length. *edited to add that I am not sure which version I have. I think it’s probably the original release since I get decent performance with it. I was actually gifted my bottle from a fellow fragrance lover during the spring of ‘24. She said this had just been sitting on her dresser collecting dust, and that she wanted someone who would enjoy it to have it. So, not sure when the relaunch was, but I know she’d had it for a while before gifting her practically full bottle to me. Just for reference, I definitely would have purchased this had she not gifted it to me. I have a large collection, but this is one that I never forget about, and will definitely replace once I go through this bottle!

A Sweet, flirty, feminine, happy, playful, warm, creamy and delicious gourmand fruity floral. Oh wow, I really love this one! Definitely my favorite of the Viva La Juicy flankers (I own the OG, Gold Couture, Noir, and now Sucre) and at least tied with the OG! It has that same Viva La Juicy DNA, but is also its own unique variation of the scent. Just an overall beautiful and sweet fragrance! This is one of those great fragrances that work really well all throughout the year. The notes that are the most prominent to me are the peach, vanilla, orange blossom, whipped cream, almond cream, and sandalwood. I do pick up on the red currant and a little bit of mandarin orange in the opening, but as it dries down it they become more subtle and blend in more with the other notes as the dry down occurs. There’s also the subtle scent of gardenia and jasmine that delicately mingles with them especially in the opening. As the dry down occurs the overall scent becomes more warm and creamy which I really enjoy. Viva La Juicy Sucre is such a beautiful fragrance and a very easy reach. I think it works well for the majority of occasions and is perfect to wear in any season. Even though it does have somewhat of a youthful vibe to it I still think that it can be worn by just about any ago group. It’s a great choice for anyone who loves sweet fragrances as well as a lovely choice for a signature fragrance! I get great performance with Viva La Juicy Sucre. On me it lasts throughout the entire day. The projection is nice too, it radiates out about an arm’s length from me. I have the original formulation on my left hand and the newest re-release formulation on my right hand. I'm sorry to report that the formulation has changed a bit..I sprayed more on my right hand than my left and the left (original form) is performing better. They smell 99% the same. But the older bottle is stronger and almost has a HINT of bubblegum. Maybe it has to do with how the juice has darkened a bit makes it a bit thicker and stronger. But either way..there's a bit of a difference in strength. It's been about an hour now and the new formulation is almost gone while the old is still there. I'd snag an older bottle while theyre still available to buy. I think theyre gonna go up in price. I'm sure the reason for discontinuing it was an ingredient legality issue. So they removed some banned inregredients and it is no longer as strong. Up to you if you care about the "toxic ingredients" in the original formulation that help with longevity. This is a lot like the Gold Couture mixed with Glace. You can smell gardenia drenched in syrup and vanilla. It's so delicious and beautiful. But if you don't like Viva La Juicy, stay away. It smells like Viva La Juicy. If you like VS tease or Gorgeous Gardenia, you will like this.

This is one of those perfumes that just makes people lean in. It’s incredibly sweet and soft, the kind of scent that seems to draw compliments effortlessly. My fiancé loves it on me, and it’s become one of his all-time favourites, which definitely gives it bonus points. He always nuzzles me and tells me I smell fantastic whenever I wear it. Right away, I get a mix of juicy peach and delicate jasmine, layered with a creamy almond note and a swirl of whipped cream. There’s a softness to it, thanks to the light florals that peek through, but it always stays in that playful, dessert-like space. It’s sweet without being loud, and there’s something very approachable and cheerful about it. I remember the original Sucré before the relaunch, it was so sweet, like pure vanilla cake batter. I used to smell it on a co-worker and was obsessed. The current version feels fresher and more wearable, which makes it great for daytime, but I do still miss that over-the-top cake vibe from the first release. There was something magical about how indulgent it used to be. Still, I really enjoy this version. It’s pretty, feminine, and kind of addictive. I probably will always have Gold, Night, the OG Viva and this one in my collection.

As a collector who directs her attention towards challenging, and abstract scents, I need my gourmands to justify their existence. They need texture, depth, and can't just be sweet. Viva La Juicy Sucre is a Floral Fruity Gourmand that I always find myself reaching for when I want unadulterated, youthful girly joy. The genius here lies in the dry down. It’s not just "vanilla and sugar"; it’s the creamy, fluffy sensation of Whipped Cream blended flawlessly with Almond Cream and a tiny touch of dusty Cacao. This lactonic, airy quality prevents the scent from becoming overly sticky with a realistic dessert texture. The top notes of bright Mandarin and tart Red Currant cut through the initial sweetness beautifully. This slight acidic, juicy lift provides contrast, so the scent doesn't flatten out. The gourmand base is more dynamic and wearable than many that fall straight to dense cavity enducing sweetness. The Sandalwood base is milky and soft, providing just enough structure for longevity. If you want a dose of confident femininity or simply want to smell irresistibly delicious without trying too hard, this scent is perfect. Not all designer gourmands are for the juvenile. Viva La Juicy Sucre Isn't Just "Fluff."

ughhh.. so good. i almost get bubblegum at the beginning? that goes away quickly (unfortunately)! the longevity isn’t there. the lovely opening dies down fast.. this perfume lasts 2ish hours on my skin before disappearing into a vague sweet scent. i’m probably going to overspray this on my clothes versus my skin, it’s one of those perfumes ): this would be a favorite of mine if it lasted longer, it’s too expensive for the lackluster performance. this is a sweeter and less floral version of the OG. sucre def has that whipped cream and vanilla working for it. i don’t get a lot of the notes listed. it’s simply a creamy, sugary, vanilla scent combined with the OG dna. and a teensy pinch of peach. not a juicy peach either, closer to peaches and cream. there is a hint of cacao at the end, but it’s a milky hot cocoa vs actual unsweetened cacao lol. this is safe enough to wear anytime. would be a great signature scent. it just needs better longevity!! still love it though. edit: i’ve had this for about a month now and the longevity seems to have improved a bit. i don’t know anything about the science of perfumes but i'm not complaining!! starting to fall in love with this <3 so yummy!!!

Wow, I’m so happy I purchased this in the 3.4 because sadly, it’s discontinued now! (I really wish Fragrantica had a way to show you a perfume is discontinued on its page so you don’t have to get hyped on a perfume after reading up on it’s notes, only to scroll down to the comments to find out it’s discontinued...) Anyways, I think this is my favorite out of the Viva La Juicy collection. And it carries that same iconic Juicy DNA. In the beginning, it smells sweet, juicy and fruity like glazed, glossy fruit on a fancy fruit tart. After it dries and settles it gets sweeter, and is so sugary and creamy. Wait a little longer and that fruit tart I mentioned earlier is buried under a mountain of whipped cream and someone dumped a bunch of sugar cubes on top of that whipped cream... but it smells great. It doesn’t project too much, but for me I was definitely able to smell it on myself all day with 4 sprays, so I have no complaints with the longevity. This is my dumb-reach perfume, it’s an everyday scent, it can totally be worn in any season. It’s great to throw on before I go out and just want to smell cute and delicious.

This is unreal. I literally signed up on Juicy Couture to be notified of a re-release and it happened. There must have been a lot of us who wrote in-- they listened!! I saw Sucre on Ulta and Macy's. I am SO excited to get this beauty back in my collection! Hands down, Sucre is the best release from Viva La Juicy, with Glace in second place IMO. At least in terms of my standards (high levels of top notes- fruit/citrus, light florals, low to absent wood/musk, and heavy vanilla/gourmand). Fingers crossed it smells the same. Regardless, I adore the bottle so much. Team Smell-Like-Cake scored a big W for Summer 2023. Gourmies and those nostalgic for the late 2000s/2010s are taking over 😉 ETA 7/9/23: Tested my bottle, and yes this is like I remember. It smells better as it dries down and the fluffy, gourmand, cupcake-y frosting notes shine. Bottom line (from about a half hour after the application on the skin): Does it smell like celery? No. Is it overpowering? No. Does it have the VLJ DNA? Yes. Does it smell synthetic? Yes. Does it smell like sugar? Yes. Is it ridiculous? Yes. Is it worth it? Heck yes. 😘

Edit: The bottle was just too new, and after waiting a while it's back to being the sweet, delicious berry cake smothered whipped cream that I knew and loved. 🥰 It lasts at least 4-5 hours on moisturized skin, and all day on clothes. This is my new fave and an absolute must for gourmand lovers. OG review: I jumped on this as soon as it was re-released, but honestly I should have waited. I don't know if it's because the bottle is too new or if it was reformulated or what, but it is TART. It's deep, heavy, sour, barely has any sweetness, barely projects, and it doesn't last more than an hour on moisturized skin. Honestly after smelling my new bottle a few times, it reminds me of Midnight Fantasy by Britney Spears, and considering how much this stuff costs that is PATHETIC. Maybe it just needs to age a bit since it was manufactured just a month ago, so I'm gonna set it aside and come back to it after a few weeks :/

Viva La Juicy with a hint of cake frosting? Okay, I'm in love! That's definitely the vibe I get from this fragrance. While I do find Sucre similar to Gold Couture, this is much more vanillic - All while keeping the classic VLJ dna. I can't speak for the longevity, as I just got it today, but I know I'll be overspraying as I tend to do that with my Juicy Couture fragrances I also want to mention this: It seems that a lot of people (myself included - ordered from Ulta) are receiving their bottles with the atomizers not on the bottles properly. I don't know if that's a production error or shipping but I thought I'd mention that since this is a rerelease. I was able to pop mine back on and it sprays, but it does look weird lol. Overall though, I am super happy to have this in my collection. I adore the bottle, and the fragrance is so delicious. I'm always here for a Viva La Juicy flanker!

I went to Ulta today and they had it in the travel spray, and I got it for free because I had points! Let's just say I'm definitely going back for a full sized bottle once I have some money saved! I'm gonna wear it today to see how it sits on my skin and leave a better review. Edit** I noticed some people saying they don't smell the cupcake/whipped cream scent but to me that's all I get! And I love it! I do agree the longevity is weak (again I have the travel size atm so idk if that could play a part?) I never personally smelled or owned the one before this new release so I'm going off of the new one. I personally love it a 100x more than the original viva la juicy. Whipped cream is my favorite note and it's definitely a hit with that right off the bat. I don't smell any "alcohol/synthetic" smells with mine. I feel bad for the ones who dislike this scent ☹️

OOHHH SHE LOVELY!!!! I was a bit apprehensive getting this perfume because I disliked the last one I tested from Juicy Couture(the funeral smelling Juicy Coutured EDP). Glad I still got it anyway because this is the best one after Viva La Juicy Gold! The floral, citrus and other fruity notes are engulfed in a warm hug by the sweet notes. I love smelling myself all day I’m wearing it. I would get a whiff of this whenever I move or even when met with a breeze. It’s so lovely! It’s perfect for my body chemistry and would easily last me 8-10 hours. This is one of those intimate perfumes so the projection is average, but anyone in close proximity will surely go crazy over you(unless they dislike gourmands). I smelled so good even after my whole shift, that the uber driver started flirting with me. Will get me a spare bottle of this for sure!

First time I tried this perfume in the fragrance store, it smelled little too sweet to me (but not bad). However, this beautiful packaging made me buy it. I realized afterwards it leaves extremely nice notes and is one of my favorite fragrances I own. Starting with the beautiful packaging, extremely nice sweetness reminds me of bakery. Very creamy. I can smell a bit of pistachio too. My boyfriend enjoyed this scent very much as well. No compliments, however from other people, might be because its not very long lasting but not as weak to me as I read it in comments. I cant smell it well on clothes tho, maybe needs specific skin type to match it well and clearly matches mine amazingly.

I tried flower Bomb , I tried Jessica Simpson fancy , I tried the OG Juicy couture. This one is the thing that finally made my wife put the Prada Candy down for more than a day after going through 2 big bottles of that light expensive body spray called perfume in the past 4 months. Yes! , this is no watered down caramel here. And cost way less at my few favorite discounters. Now she’s smellin Good 😊 But have to see what she thinks after wearing it. Just because it blows you away on paper. Things can change after a few wears. So I’ll come back and share her experience. And mine. She likes it! she likes it !

I sold this gem awhile ago while it was discontinued--and I asked for it for my birthday when I heard it was rereleased, and my wonderful husband bought it for me. It is just as lovely the second time around: sugared-up VLJ with a peachy twist. Better than BonBon, imo. Longevity: so/so, for the price. This is an absolutely fun, unapologetically girly fragrance. I thought gold couture is the best from the house, But when I smelled sucre It changed my mind. I can't describe how amazing this smells, It has the same juicy couture DNA like others from this house but it is sweeter (which I like) and smoother but less fruity than other Juicy coutures. They are some fragrances that you just want to smell the whole day, Sucre is one of them, Maybe it's simple and not complex, But it's not boring at all. I'm currently single guy but I want my future Girlfriend smell like this all the time.

i’m very iffy on juicy couture fragrances because they all smell the same to me most of the time but i’m surprised that this actually smells somewhat different. it’s sweet and floral with a touch of fruity , perfect for sunny spring days. the bottle is also cute and gives candy vibes , looks pretty on a vanity. i do find that it performs better once it’s macerated. had the bottle since 2022-23 , sprayed once and started fully using it in march-april 2025 , lasts on me and still had that candy sweet scent.

I've been wanting this for years so when I heard it was back on the market I had to get it! Obviously the iconic VLJ DNA is present and it blends very nicely with the new notes. Whereas the original VLJ is sweet in a rich, caramel fruity way, sucre is more sweet in a vanilla frosting dessert way! Like a lot of the VLJ flankers the performance is moderate and close to the skin, so this isn't a beast mode fragrance at all. I wish there was an intense version of sucre because I love the scent but it's light.

A beautiful creamy gourmand scent with the classic viva la juicy DNA. People are saying this is pretty much gold couture but I have to disagree. Gold couture has more caramel notes and not as creamy as Sucre. I really love how I get the whipped cream, almond and sweet cupcake notes! The first spray you get classic Juicy Couture DNA but the dry down is where it's at. Such a beautiful sweet cupcake scent you will love this! Perfect pairing with hints of fruitiness and gourmand vanilla whipped cream :)

Why did juicy kill their best viva? Gold couture gets the praise and it’s awesome as well but this is the best in the lineup. Gourmand lovers dreams of sweet tart but not overly tart caramel fruity dream. This has everything I would think of when I think of the brand. This also has a smell that resembles a cupcake, it’s just such a good smell. One of their best performers with longevity and sillage. If you can get your hands on it or it ever comes back, buy it. It’s hard to hate this scent.

Tested this in ulta today and I AM IN LOVE. I will always be a huge fan of the original VLJ. I so wish I had this one in my collection instead of VLJ Gold. To my nose, they do not smell similar besides both having the same DNA. This is more candied and sweet, while Gold is more "perfumey". I can smell the peach and whipped cream which sets it apart from the others. I highly recommend at least sampling this if you're a huge VLJ fan like myself.

this is my favorite juicy couture perfume. i absolutely love gourmands and this is one of the best ones I’ve ever smelled. it smells like a delicious cupcake. smells so edible. it’s just a disappointment how it doesn’t last because i love it so much. and the bottle is so very cute. I don’t get why it’s so expensive when it’s probably one of the least lasting juicy couture perfumes. but this is so amazing and has some of my favorite notes.

On my skin it smells just like vanilla cupcakes, which I ABSOLUTELY loved! I live on a place with really hot weather, so I didn't buy it out of fear it'd get too cloying on Summer (I mean, I don't think that'd be the case, but I'm still being cautious) but if it weren't for that I'd be totally wearing it on the regular! I hope someday I can move somewhere with a milder weather so I can finally wear it as often as I want.

The most hideous bottle design, but such an addicting scent. Pink, juicy, sweet — but not too sweet. Also not too young. I'm in my early thirties and despite this looking like a prop from High School Musical, I love wearing this scent on an everyday basis. I just keep the bottle tucked away lol. Edit: I should mention that the longevity is seriously lacking though and for that reason I wouldn't repurchase it.

wow. just wow i smelt this without knowing anything about it last year and i was taken aback, i had to go in the next day and grab a bottle. it’s so sweet and gourmand i never thought vanilla perfumes were for me until i had smelt this. i would say this is best for autumn as it has that cosy factor and it would feel too clammy in the summer due to the sweetness of it but that’s just my personal preference

I love this. Long lasting on my clothes. Love the drydown on skin as well. I'm on a gourmand kick right now. I happily get the base notes best. Bought this for $77. 3.4 ounce ~ $115 original price $97 w/ 15% discount + $20 star money. So Worth it. A great layer is (this) at the base Bianco Latte Giardini di Toscana 2nd & fresh cream philosophy on top. Burberry goddess would be amazing with this as well.

This is my go-to daily scent. It's light so it's suitable for home or offices. Too light for a night out. It's very sweet, but tempered with the floral and fruity notes, it's divine! It reminds me of Bonbon, which is great since it's been discontinued. The sillage is not high, so I don't feel bad reapplying as the price point of Sucré is a little lower than the other designer fragrances.

So good! Love this perfume so muchh. Smells like an orange mixed with orange blossom and sugar ! I can undestand people saying it smells like « cupcake », I think it’s the sweet orange blossom note :) for me it’s more fruity - sweet like. It’s sweet and light, with a little spice note (vanilla) in the dry down. Sadly the the longevity is kinda weak on me and the sillage is pretty ok. ✧

Juicy Couture loves to use the Viva La Juicy base to add new flankers to their line. If you have a favorite Viva La Juicy flanker stick with it you don’t need another. That being said Sucre is a sweet vanilla ice cream version. Yes it’s cute, easy to wear and will not offend. I have versions in Gold, Glacé and Sucre. Juicy Gold is my favorite. I need to stop buying the new versions.

a warmer, more sugary version of OG viva la juicy!🎀 the OG scent dna definitely comes thru, but the added warmth updates and elevates it to the next level! for some reason, this also smells stronger and lasts longer on the skin than the OG, but it’s still not eternal. works for all year around, but i tend to gravitate towards spicier scents in the fall/winter. 4 out of 5 stars!🌟

I got this as a gift in the full size and I love it yet I hate the original juicy perfume. This one to me is the best. It's super sweet yet not to sweet with a hint of citrus. It smells like candy and grapefruit. I get a lot of the orange and marshmallow too. You only get a light hnit of the sandlewood. 🥰😍 LOVE. It definitely has an alcohol base to it too.

Surprisingly my favourite viva la juicy flanker. The caramel is gone, however it is tons sweeter than the og and gold. Closest viva la juicy to a gourmand, it is so light airy nd delicious. To me this smells like sorbet, yet to try glacé but I think this knocks that off the shelf. More projection and lasting power than gold, still less than og.

A syrupy, peachy sweet take on Viva La Juicy. I agree that it's similar to the other flankers. However, this one is noticeably warmer and sweeter. I feel like this scent would be great all year round, but probably best during spring/fall. I haven't had any issues with longevity as it seems to last hours on both my skin and clothes.

This!!! As much as I love photorealistic gourmands I get that some people prefer a more perfumey perfume, and this is my compromise. This is sweet (not cloying), barely fruity, pink florals, exactly what the month of May should smell like. I swear there should be a cake/pure white sugar note in there but the list is pretty close.

Very Y2K, and I love it! The opening smells like a vanilla cupcake to my nose, maybe with a touch of pureed peaches and berries in the frosting. The dry down is reminiscent of a sweeter, more nuanced and slightly more grown-up Ari. It's a great, everyday gourmand that's neither too youthful nor mature. :)

FINALLY after a year of yearning for this $100 perfume, I finally bought her!! I was very excited to test this one To me, this smells like light powdered sugar, almond extract, sweet condensed milk, and pound cake. A very nice light gourmand with just a little fruity and bitter hint, LOVES!!

pretty cute perfume the bottle is so adorable, i would say the scent is more fruity and floral than cake like, but in general its sweet. i smell the white floral and fruit part at first, and it leaves a subtle vanilla cream scent . i recommend it if you like floral fruity sweet fragances.

Had a full bottle when I was younger this was one of my favorites !! Definitely no cupcake smell but I get a creamy peach super lactonic, the florals don't stick out but instead almost balance out the sweet notes love this probably gonna buy a travel size for nostalgia

Sweeter version of VLJ Classic, so with that said, while it is a creamy vanilla cupcake scent which is pretty overall, it can get cloying especially in hot, humid weather. Longevity is good, only it might suit cooler temperatures.

The opening was okay so I almost wrote it off BUT GUYS I get the most delicious vanilla cookies/cupcakes a few hours into the wear, yummy gourmand, love this. I don’t know about others but this lasted soo long on me I’m stunned.

The descriptions sound wonderful below but I can literally not smell this on myself it is so weak. Even with my nose to skin I can hardly make out anything at all. The very slightest sweetness. Projection: 0.5/10

One of my favorites perfumes. All the notes go together so well and it's not too overpowering. It's a nice balance between sweet and floral that isn't headache inducing. The bottle is also super cute.

i wouldve loved this so much more if it was stronger and lasted longer. i feel like its gone in an hour. the smell is so nice i just to be able to smell it when i leave the house lol.

Honestly for me this is back up bottle worthy. I layer this with my lattafa al Shuyukh Gold and it smells so similar to BTSO Drunk Saffron. Lovely 😍 long lasting and a gem for me.

It has Viva La Juicy OG DNA but with an added sweetness that is not cloying at all. I can smell the whipped cream and almond cream. Simply delicious! I even bought a backup!

Tacky bottle aside,.this is a very fun , sweet , likeable fragrance that shouldn't offend or bother anyone. A crowd pleaser!! I really enjoy it, but I prefer "Le bubbly".

Such a lovely scent!! I sprayed some into a roller bottle to keep in my desk at work, and when I went to a meeting I got a compliment from the lady sitting behind me. :)

Very similar in smell to the original but just a little sweeter. Currently, it's my favorite fragrance. I've gotten more compliments on this one than any other.

Warm, cozy, fruity gourmand scent. Peach and orange blossom are a bit stronger in the dry down. Reminds me of Dahlia by BBW or Good Girl by CH. Really lovely!
