The name is a bit misleading, I was expecting a citrus zingy blast but instead, Cedrat Gingembre is an aromatic/marine fragrance. First impression is not the most exciting but as it slowly grows it develops into a clean, metallic, marine scent with some raw greenness. It’s actually quite pleasant, long lasting. Is clean and fresh without any typical cliche related to that type of fragrances.

Very likable, inoffensive and 100% unisex scent. The problem is, as all scents with this profile, it is forgettable and seriously lacks in performance. Even with overspraying it lasts only 2-4 hours and after 15 min it is a skin scent, with 1 caviat. It performance increases in hot and humid conditions reaching moderate in both sillage and projection for about 1.5 - 2 hours (with overspraying). Unless you can find tester at discount sites, it is not full bottle worthy. Instead, you should absolutely buy their outstanding Aqua Sextius. Which is absolutely full bottle worthy even at full retail price, and I would say must buy if you catch it at discounters.

Although much simpler than Les Classiques or Les White, the Les Essentiels are still super enjoyable and very Jul et Mad. This one is simple joy of refreshingly sweet ginger lemon drink. with hint of musk and woodiness expertly mixed in. i do find it pleasant and relaxing. perfect for hotter weather like what i am experiencing now.
