Update: upon receiving the full bottle and it being a good 2 years since I bought the sample and my tastes have come a long way, this stands out. It's green and shouty with a deep rich, golden wood behind it. It lasts a good 8 hours with the dry down keeping a respectable, versatile freshness. Although deep and woody, it is impressively fresh and uplifting, even in the heat of summer the freshness still holds up. This needs more attention.

Really good. A deep golden woody fragrance, reminds of polished church wood . Very green and airy too. Starts off strong, settles down nicely. 8.5/10. One of my favourite woody scents. The sandalwood and cedar are blended perfectly. Doesn't smell like cannabis, in my humble opinion. It's a niche style woody scent with an uplifting airy/fruity/floral aspect to it. My 1ml sample lasted a while and I loved it so I bought a full bottle.

The fragrance has the same vibe as Encre Noire / Encre Noire Extreme. Only this one is made fresher, greener and can be used during the day. May be from cannabis. But oud is not loud but gives of richness
