When I sprayed this on card I mistook it for a dry, spicy aromatic. I thought I could detect dry coriander, dry cardamom, dry cardboard and a lot of synthetics. It's a headachy one at first, but I liked it. I was wrong there are no spices here. Revelo is instantly muskier on skin. The notes separate out: tonka, ambroxan, musk and hedione’s airy soprano are all identifiable. Unfortunately on skin it's much more boring. Genderless, one of those "second skin” scents. The only thing of note for me is a comforting. lanolin-like whiff of old unwashed woolen jumpers. Not so interesting though.

Meh. This starts off smelling like pure alcohol, then settles into a boozy liquor smell. It kind of smells like Killian's Angels' Share, minus the sweetness and apple. I think it's just too synthetic to be pleasant.

Ambroxan and musk, it is really a skin scent. It is not a bad scent, it is just very intimate and weak. 100% unisex. I do not recommend due to the sillage and longevity. 4/10

Printer's ink, ambroxan, store carpets. And yes, some tonka bean in there somewhere. I got this sample in the "Old Library Dreams" sample set curated by Bloom. Each sample was tagged with an "evocative" book related title. This one was tagged "A Visit to Waterstone's". Spot on. This is a hedione/ambroxan/musk forward scent. Which means it smells synthetic but, if you like that sort of thing, a "your skin but better" maybe. Like, if you're into Escentric Molecules or CdG's industrial stuff. I don't like that sort of thing.
