Angel Skin

You definitely have to love really sweet scents to appreciate this fragrance. It’s strong—just a couple of sprays is plenty, as any more can quickly become cloying. The opening leans sickly sweet to me, but it does dry down nicely. I get a very sugary rose, with whispers of pink pepper and more pineapple than plum. As it settles, the vanilla comes through, softening the sweetness into something more balanced and wearable. I’m still testing this one. I usually love sweet scents, but this might be a bit much even for me. For now, I’m undecided if it’s full-bottle worthy. This fragrance is best suited for true sweet-tooth perfume lovers. EDIT: After further testing, I’ve decided—I love this fragrance! It’s an absolute beast. Less is more here—a couple of sprays are all you need to fully enjoy it. The longevity is outstanding, especially for a gourmand. This is full-bottle worthy.

This is SO beautiful. It smells like super sweet, strawberry candyfloss and sugar, truly like walking into a vintage sweets or cake shop. It literally smells like the colour pink — I want to drink it. Actually, while I type and sniff it at the same time, it's reminding me (in a totally positive way) of the way Calpol tastes?! I love it. I can see myself layering with a sparing spritz of Lush's Snow Fairy to really amp up smelling like a lollipop, or maybe a softer vanilla to provide some depth. My only criticism, and this applies to all Juliet Rose perfumes, is that I wish the bottle/design was more appealing. However, I do understand that she is an independent perfumer, so some allowances should be made.

This is literally beautiful and it’s easy to see where it gets its name from. Amazing lasting power, especially for a gourmand, it’s sweet, creamy and powdery and just so feminine and gorgeous. To me, the buttercream and candy floss stand out the most but the subtle addition of a little bit of peppermint is what really makes it special and ties everything together! I am obsessed.

I had the oil version, at first this smells like delectable fresh fruit and sweets then over time becomes a dense, syrupy vanilla cake. The drydown was a little too sweet and syrupy for me, I much preferred the fruity candy opening. Overall this is still quite nice though. 🍬🍬🍬

Smells like a softened candy scent if that makes sense. It's nice but not "enough" of anything for me to want to add full bottle to my collection.
