Victorian Violet

really pretty, fresh violet scent. a lot greener than i was expecting, but it's lovely. a very safe blind buy if you like violet notes

A powdery violet with a gentle hint of vanilla in the dry down. Every time I wear it, I feel instantly calm and at ease. Perfect for quiet weekends at home, before bed, or a relaxed spring day outdoors. Feminine and comforting.

A really bitter powdered violet. If you are expecting a soft insolence style violet, but greener and less sweet... this isn't it chief. From first spray it's very bitter violet powder, then ends up more bitter on the skin. I hate to say this but if you are looking for a decent violet scent created from natural oils then Lush has multiple options like V. Not the best from Juliet Rose sadly. 100% skip for me.

I was so confused by this perfume's sour note. It seemed so out of place in what I expected was going to be a powdery, floral, inoffensive, and homely grandma perfume, and then I re-read the description and I realised. Parma violet. Not the Duchesse de Parme flower, but the sweets. The sour sweets. My God. Not for me and not what I expected but 10/10 on smelling exactly like what it's supposed to. Five stars because of that and also because it's not the perfume's fault I can't read lol. Definitely going to re-gift this sample to someone who is going to love it. They won't take long to find.

I ordered a sample from Juliet Rose's Etsy shop, and so far this is my favorite from the samples I have tried. A simple clean violet fragrance, fresh and perfect for springtime. Unfortunately, it just does not last longer than 1-2 hours. The main notes I get here are Violet, Violet leaf and the green notes. Gives off similar vibes as Annick Goutal's La Violette.
