10 The Era

I got 10 the era as a gift and I liked it but it was never an "I love it" scent. Scent: The opening is very cheap smelling and smells very synthetic. The cashmere wood is the main note you get, but it smells very low quality in the opening. However as it dries down, it becomes way better. Spices, which were in background for the first 10 minutes or so become more vibrant. I don't get the coconut and bergamot at all. The musk is also noticeable in the base. The vanilla in the base gives the fragrance a sweet touch to it, though at the point it becomes detectable, the scent is so light that some people won't pick any of the base notes. Performance: This is a very weak fragrance and lacks performance. The longevity is max 6 hours, mostly I get 5 hours out of it, with below average projection for the first hour or two. Then it becomes a skin scent, and disappears very quickly. Versatility: I would say that this could be worn all year round, even though some people don't believe it to be a winter fragrance but I wear it and works for me. It's a great everyday casual scent. Could definitely be worn to the office and for some people, even to formal events. But I wouldn't really wear it to those formal occasions. Overall, you could get this as an everyday fragrance if you're looking for a fragrance on a budget. But I wouldn't really recommend it to people as there are other fragrances way better than this one at the same price as it is. It's an ok fragrance really.

It's been a while since I purchased any J. perfume this one came in as a gift. Packaging and the bottle is very presentable scent is just another formal type which can be worn for daily office going when you're suited booted and for some formal occasions. Projection is normal longevity is average. Overall a good smelling perfume for the price. I have smell J. Janan Gold Edition and this one they both lean towards the notes of Aventus Creed type I think the perfumers these days when making some formal scent they follow the foot steps of a leader.

I tested this fragrance on testing card where it smelled great. i bought instantly as i liked this fragrance. After applying to skin it smelled pathetic to me. I didn't liked the fragrance it was just as the skin smell. even my wife said that this smell is not for your skin type.
