Oudh Al Junaid

I reviewed this in May 2016. It’s only a few down, so please check it out as it distils my excitement at its discovery back then. This is still a great scent in my opinion, but I did subsequently find that it is basically Oudh Salab relabelled. How did I find out? Oudh Salab is in the exact same bottle, and it was selling on eBay from multiple sellers from between £10 and £15, so I bought a bottle and hey presto, same stuff! I stock piled a few bottles in case the hype spoilers ruined the deal for everyone who enjoys this perfume at a ludicrously low price. I have since moved on in my collection to other treasures from European houses. I gave a bottle of my Oudh Salab away yesterday. I just checked the prices of Oudh Salab for this “return” review and not many sellers have this now and the cheapest is £19.99. Junaid Jamshed version is currently on sale for £23.99, so Oudh Salab is no longer a massive saving and some sellers are selling for much more, although the “credit card sized 20ml sprays are slit on there at bargain prices. I don’t know if the Oudh Salab is out of stock as happens sometimes, but whichever brand you choose, this is a truly great scent. Oudh Khalifa 2020 Black by Anfar is almost the same scent but in a different (lovely) bottle, but is also now £19.99 at the cheapest price point on eBay with some sellers asking £100. So strange!

This is stunning, and straight into my top six, second bottle purchased straight away. This house makes niche quality scents at affordable prices. This is a stable mate to the legendary Oudh Qadim by Junaid Jamshed as reviewed by Greggieboy76, Handsome Scents and Mr Oz on YouTube (3 of the very best reviewers online IMO, as they manage to deliver a decent review, without superfluous waffle, and I happen to enjoy similar scents to them). This and Oudh Qadim seem to have rendered most of my evening and Autumn/Winter scents redundant which, when you look at what I have (plus a few I'm unable to list in my Fragrantica wardrobe) shows just how good they are. Oudh Al Junaid would be completely credible if stuffed in a Roja Dove bottle with a £400 price ticket hanging from it (actually, you'd get 2 50ml bottles of Roja out of one 100ml bottle of this!) I rarely give scores like this, Scent. 10/10 Longevity 10/10 Projection 9/10 Sillage 9/10 Value for money 10/10

This is one of those classic older fragrances that makes all my blind-buy risks feel totally justified. It sits in that familiar woody family we all know and love, but it brings its own unique twist that sets it apart. From the very first spray through to the full dry-down, every stage smells absolutely delicious and inviting—seriously fun to catch whiffs of throughout the day. These days, my ultimate test is my girlfriend's reaction. She usually gives me a polite 'I don't love it' or 'that's... interesting.' This time? Straight-up 'Wow, I love it' from the opening spray. We have a winner, boys!

I wanted an oud scent on a budget so I went to sample this and i was very impressed! being of middle eastern background I love oud smells and grew up with it so I am a bit critical but this hidden gem definitely surprised me. Performance is phenomenal! It is very wearable and not too in your face so it can be worn to the workplace or school. For $30 I cant complain much about it, if you are looking for very high quality oud then this probably is not what you're looking for but if you are looking for something on a budget or something safe to start your oud love with, then this is great.

I purchased this from Pakistan back in 2017 ive got about15ml left remaining and with the small about left and the 4 oud pieces inside this has become nuclear literally quarter spray and its on you forever. This was my signature scent for many years. Has anyone got this recently? And is it still nuclear?

I was looking for something leathery and woody and that is when I tripped over oudh Al junaid. Tried a tester on my jumper, even after 24 hours the morphing scent continued which bacame a convincing factor for me to head back and buy it off the shelf.

I cant resist loving it, it is now the best Arabic perfume i ever smelled. its longevity and silage is far better than many other highly expensive Perfume even it is not expensive. Hence i would say that it offers best value for money. Other than its good fragrance, longevity and silage the Bottle itself gives that luxurious look that most of us demand for. This is actually a distinctive Perfume as its woody fragrance will make you say that it is made from natural sources. When i wear this Masterpiece every one ask about its name, i have received dozen of appreciative comments for its distinctive and unique Fragrance. Well done J.J

Amazing smell very sweet,leathery,woody,smokey,and oud kind of smell but,after using it allot I noticed a medicinal smell which I hate.but JJ at this price how man? Complete blind buy it and you won't regret.just typical oudish smell. Moderate sillage,moderate longevity my final score at this price 7/10 but I think it's cheap so it looses it bonds somehow within months.its not for summers believe me only for winters, however this brand claims that it contains original oud chips but it's a lie those pieces are only some kind of wood not the oud wood that's a big big negative point.

I usually don't have problem with heavy scents but this one, woooh! It's too heavy for me. I think a better name fore it is Leather Junaid. It's a HEAVY lether scent followed by a heavy shadow of black musk. I'm not sure about the oud but after a while some wood shows up. It's very masculine with a long sillage. Even if I think it's too heavy for me it's a good scent and I think it fits a man 45+. When I wear it I must sweeten it up with Kalemat from Arabian Oud, and then it becomes really nice, like a deeper version of Kalemat.

One of the best fragrance at this price point. Very natural, but still exotic and sensual. Gives splendid woody aroma at opening which settles to a calm musk/leather warm notes after 30 to 45 minutes. Nicely stays on my skin cold climate 8/10

A beautiful dark and heavy oud tobacco fragrance by the house of Junaid Jamshed. The presentation is really classy with heavy bottle that contains pieces of Oud wood which gives it a unique upscale touch. It opens with a heavy oud and leathery note and contains to project the same throughout so it may seem a bit simple and linear to some users . Notes are about 90% same as Rasasi Shuhrah but this one is a bit less softer and has more oud in it. It had enormous silage and will takeover every other aroma present in its surrounding so its a beast mode fragrance. Lasts about 5 to 6 hr before it needs refreshing. Can be worm on formal to semi formal occasions and it is definitely not a party /casual wear. Best worn in winter for its full impact.

Amazing juice. You can take this one and challenge any big brand in the world. It's not a clone of Tom ford tuscan leather but resembles a little bit. It has his own character and very bold in nature. If you don't carry a mature Outlook, don't even think about wearing it. It's upscale, bossy and pretty much gives "I mean Business" kinda statement. If you are anything less than that, it will over ride you. it is extremely close to Night Oud by Lattafa. i never sniffed it but people say that it is a clone of Tobacco Oud by Tom Ford. Awesome performance, amazing juice and again a surprise from J.

Absolutely stellar fragrance. To my nose it's very similar to ASAQ Safari Extreme but just different enough to be unique. Oud note is not strong at all as it's offset with the lemon and other fruity aspect. Very nice sillage but not overpowering and the longevity is outstanding. I'm on hour 16 and still going. This is my first fragrance from Junaid and I'm very impressed.

This does smell like Tom Ford Tuscan leather but Oudh al Junaid is definitely more wearable than the Tom Ford Tuscan Leather. Rather than oudh I would say this scent is more like the modern day perfumes, with fruity sweet notes. Well done JJ Fragrances for coming up with this excellent perfume for men for a very reasonable price.

i went to the Junaid Jamshed shop with oud notes in mind and i asked for the oud ones,Believe me if u want oud from JJ perfumes this is the one,it may seem a little maulvi(priest) like smell but its just the top notes,after 5 min its just pure old good oud fragrance.Its Subtle and classic but mature.

This is not the creation of J. This is made in dubai and probably a clone of big designer house Fragrence. I believe it's the copy of quorum. The dry down is exactly the same. J. Never had their own original fragrance. They make clone of famous fragrances

This is another Tom Ford-esque leather, more wearable, very smooth (better than Golden Boy I think); the lemon is sweet and fruity, not tart, with minimal animalic oud.

This smells similar to Ombre leather by Tom ford, I get why alot of reviewers get the Tuscan leather vibe, but imho imperial oud is a dupe of that.

I gave everyone below me in this review section a thumbs apart from one. Just buy it!!!!
