Oudh Qadim

I can't understand how Oud Qadeem can have that low price while the quality is that high. You don't need much of it to fill a room and it stays on the skin for ever. I get a very balsamic scent (because the Egyptian balsam I guess). The saffron backs it up and gives it a rich smooth base, the oud (not barnyard at all) gives it great deepness. Even if I love Oud Qadeem I would have some more oud (I love oud:). What you get is an oriental, balsamic, smooth and deep scent. Very pleasant for the nose.

Great projection and Smell. A very wearable Oud which is tamed by some underlying sweetness and woodsy base. Opens slightly fresh although no such notes are listed here. Dry down is woodsy, dry, oudy and there is no skanky Oud in it. A very smoothed out and refined smell. Projection is so good that anyone entering the room will smell this beast For the price around $15 it is gem of a fragrance Overall = 9.5/ 10

It has quite a light scent profile. It is a uplifting, almost juicy scent and one ideal for the spring months. It is certainly a unisex fragrance. The performance on my skin is decent and is very good for the price.

Hello knite of wands I read ur review for oud qadim about its similarity with oud al mubakhar. I am regular user of oud qadim, after reading a review that oud al mubakhar have same fragrance as of oud qadim i purches oud al mubakhar coz it was about half the price of oud qadim. But i was strongly disapooted, there's a lot of diffirence between these 2. Oud qadim is very pleasent frag wile oud mubakhar is smells cheap and dirty. I thing there's no any frag like oud qadim, i sgust u to try it, i hope it will becomes ur signature fragrance soon. from M Tahir (ودوداللّٰہ)

Oudh Qadim (Arabic for "old agarwood") is a saffron fragrance first & foremost. The scent is unmistakably saffronful from opening to end, enriched with spices, & made heavy by the woody notes, mainly oud. Yet, it is >70% saffron. It smells like a traditional spices market in an Arabic country. Mature & unisex, Oudh Qadim is a very Arabic/Indopaki smell & is beautiful. To someone outside of Asia/Africa, this is a very exotic scent, I would think. However, to Arabs & South Asians, this is a traditional scent. Overall, a like from me.

Oudh Qadim is a very well crafted oudh fragrance from the house of J. It is not like other oudh fragrances in the market that are either too strong (a bit bitter) and that are too much cloying. This is a decent oudh fragrance and can be wore with Suit, Shalwar Kameez, Kurta or Sherwani. Longevity: 10/10 Sillage: 10/10

oud qadim is a very unique fragrance, even for an oud lover like me. its neither your sweet oud nor animalic oud. instead what you get is oud with loads of woody notes covered with a hint of spices which makes it warm and inviting. above average performance. not for summers.

If you want to see real beauty and magic of this fragrance, layer it with remy lator's cigar. It will be amazing. ⚓️

at first, it's very spicy and medicinal, then settles into something more woody and synthetic. it's like i went to get my blood drawn in an old wooden mansion, and the nurse lit some incense and then used some hand sanitizer. it's a little odd, i wouldn't mind it on another person, but i personally would not wear it.

This was the first oud of JJ that i bought. It felt good at time of testing. The longevity and sillage is just to the level that it hurts your head. But i didnt like it at all after usage. Complements that i got were the typical preachers wear at mosques in Pakistan. Anyways its me and i wont buy it again.

This is an interesting one! Let me start by mentioning Greggieboy76 from Youtube. I was just browsing through his channel to look for a review on Rasasi's La Yuqawam Pour Homme when I stumbled upon a new upload by Greggie. Out of curiosity I checked it out and there it was mentioned with the likes of Roja Amber Aoud and Armani's Rose D'Arabie. I ordered the perfume and upon receiving it turned out to be as good as reviewed by Greggie on his channel. I believe he introduced La Yuqawam to Youtube and now this Oudh Qadeem is introduced by Greggie to the Youtube. This is an excellent quality juice. Starts sweet, floral and spicy with a hint of woodiness in the beginning. As it develops into middle notes the real character of Oudh Qadeem comes into play and you will enjoy Oud with saffron and leather. Its floral oriental woody with a slight animalic character to it because of leather. Dry down is heavenly and people will really enjoy wafts of this fragrance coming off. Its not enormously projecting but it is strong and will project good. Lasts about 8 to 10 hours. This fragrance smells very expensive with no hint of any cheap and synthetic ingredients. This is not a casual fragrance. This is proper formal and black suit and tie fragrance. I get a vibe similar to YSL's M7 Oud Absolu. But it is not a clone of any perfume out in the world. Go easy on the sprayer. Very enjoyable and very good price. It will give some of the most expensive niche perfumes out there the run for their money.

Addressing '98tacos'; firstly, breathe deep & do a calm down mano; you don't like Oudh Qadim, we get that. As for the additional 'conspiracy theory' youtube BS blah blah, focus please on the juice info; that's what we're 'supposed' 2 be about here. Personally, I've worn this juice for several years & am in agreement w/ all those reviews you were faulting (beauty is in the nose of the beholder & all that jazz). I'm not too overly concerned w/ others' opinions when wearing a juice; only if I personally love/like/hate the item regarding my own tastes. All that said, at work, play, & on gigs, I've had more (especially from women) gushing & overtop positive praise regarding OQ as much as any juice, & I fancy only hi-end sophisticated/animal/dark selections, all w/ hi praise & excellent sillage/longevity, Fragrantica-wise. OQ is a dark & unique juice at an unbelievable cost... it is quite Egyptian balsamic, & I am partial to Oriental (actually leaning more into Romanesque rather than Gothic flair) Oud/ Leather/ Tobacco/ Saffron/ Labdanum colour notes... passion w/ teeth, if you will (illuminate thee darkness, Dearie); the middle eastern folk know their scents better than most, having been at it longer... it is a mystery charmer divest w/ an assortment of excellent notes that blend subtlely & yet harmoniously for the sake of question ... indulge away Dearies ~

This is not your typical oud fragrance which arabs wear that i have found to be more smoky and harsh, instead this is a sweeter oud fragrance with the elements of western perfumery. This frag shares some resemblance with woody by Arabian Oud and scentstory 24 gold oud edition, so may lack in the uniqueness some people crave for. Scent it self is also quite linear. Its unmatched in its potency, since i think it was developed for arab countries with harsh climate, and its longevity is at par with or even exceeds that of the silage monsters such as Kouros and Joop Homme. staying power is like 2-3 days and will remain noticeable most of the time. Although be aware that this frag will stain ur clothes if sprayed at a close range. Scent:7/10 (lack of uniqueness) silage:10/10 longevity:10/10 (at least 24 hours on clothing)

Many thanks Wadoodullah! My bottle came today, and you're right, this is a fantastic fragrance and will be a regular purchase from now on. This is a high quality scent with great performance. I do think that Oud Al Mubakhar, however, is very similar, and, for around £13, makes a great alternative if you're watching the pennies. It's also cheap enough to try it out as a blind buy, if you like this type of scent. Oud Qadim has slightly more depth and longevity. Janan are the only UK stockists and provide a great service. At £29.99, this is a true bargain, and far, better than many more expensive fragrances. They have many interesting scents and I can't wait to try more.

Love this scent quite alot, bought on a recommendation of a youtube video. Very well done for an oud base and further more the J range of frags i believe are basically the equivalent of a celebrity, but the quality of the juice is much higher than the celebrity crap we get here in the UK. However if you are buying blind or even just fancy saving a little money (not that this frag was expensive)I was able to pick up a bottle of Rasasi - Oud al Mubakhar at half the price of this and is an exact clone.

This is very similar to Oud for greatness by Initio parfums with that dominant safron note. This is a great alternative if you dont want to spend big money on Oud for greatness. This starts off very similar to Oud of greatness but the dry down goes in a little different direction, but the majority of the fragrance smells similar to Initio's The performance is very long lasting on clothes easily 8 - 10 hours. Innovation 2/10 Performance 8/10 Quality 7/10 (mix of synthetic and some natural)

The smell of this masterpiece is excellent. However, silage could have been better, longevity is quite good. Overall a really good men’s fragrance for all occasions. For those trying to decide between this and Oudh Al Junaid then IMHO the smell of Oudh Qadim is better than the leathery smell of Oudh Al Junaid but Oudh Al Junaid has a better silage and longevity. You can’t go wrong with this one for this price. This is very likely to become my all time favourite.
