Banafsaj Night

I actually wanted to purchase original banafsaj since i read about its similiarity to Stella which i LOOOOVE. Unfortunately i couldn’t find it anywhere so i purchased Banafsaj Night instead of it; i thought that i can find maybe a similiarity with this too. I have been testing this fragrance for awhile because since the first sniff; it gives me mixed vibes and i can not decide if i like it or not in the first place. You can tell this is definetly a rose perfume but its style is different from Stella; actually i can not remember it exactly but long ago i had Rose by Paul Smith; and this reminds me of it a lot with a little bit of powdery vibe. Unlike its name; i dont think that it is necessarily a ‘night’ scent. It is suitable for daily usage; it is a pretty classical, old school type of rose fragrance with a little bit of musky twist, more ‘natural’ kind of rose. Litchi is listed in notes but i can’t get that much litchi. It is rose dominant to me; after a while i get a little bit of jasmine. This is not like a beast mode perfume , can be easily worn during summer too. When it comes to performance, this one kinda disappointed me when it comes to performance. I cant smell it after 4-5 hours and sillage is almost non existent :D it stays as a skin scent.

While I still prefer the original Banafsaj, I still love Banafsaj Night. I find this one to be much heavier musk (yum!), and I definitely get the litchi and rose (not really the jasmine). Unlike the original, I think (as the name attests) that Banafsaj Night is more of an evening fragrance, although it could be worn during the day.

The bottles are beautiful but I wouldn't be interested in any of these perfumes compositions.
