Very good scent -you can feel deep oriental style directly from Kingdom of Bahrain but -simultaneously- the perfume is not unbearable for typical European/American nose -sometimes the fragrances from Middle East can be very different from the Western perception of smell:-). In this case in a few seconds after application the perfume notes become very enjoyable -strongly oud'ish but pleasantly citrus in the same time. The aroma is rich but not overpowering, it lasts a long time and the sillage is heavy so it should be dosing cautiously. My rating is: 8,5 /10. I would recommend it for every brave fragrance seeker! :-)

A wonderful mixture of oud & mandarin orange. Syed Junaid managed to take the most Arabic smell (oud), soften it's sharp edges with the right green notes (mandarin), freshening it & making it wearable by almost everyone. This fragrance is a MUST HAVE for woody/oud fragrances fanatics. It could even be used as an entry into the woody/oud fragrances for those who would like to try this category. Good smell, long lasting, moderate/heavy sillage, at a very good price. One of the best oud fragrances in the market! An ever-present fragrance in my collection.

Lovely spicy oud, also fresh and refreshingly sweet. It's beautiful. And the bottle!!!! Woah! Gorgeous. It's the reason I bought Hajar; I didn't care about the perfume at all, I just wanted the bottle - and I'm very very happy with the beautiful perfume as well!!!!! Fantastic!!!!

Orientally fresh. As pointed out by other members, its sillage is heavy. There is oud somewhere in the background. However, if you wanted more oud, there is an oud-version of Hajar.

This actually has been my grandma's signature scent for decades. Like another commenter said, it is earthy, dirty oud. I disagree with it being described as "fresh" though. Yes it is citrusy, but it's too intense and strong. Nowhere near fresh in my opinion. It is strong oud that is also acidic, just like how a cup of espresso is acidic, that kind of acidity. That said, it is classy and timeless. The fact that it and it's flanker are still in production is not surprising. But it's definitely a winter/heavy frag, or for Arab wedding and evening wear. Unisex to me and I don't get that "barbershop" or clean vibe at all. More like "raw", concentrated wood oil vibe. Edit: longevity and sillage is beast mode.

Simply put mind blowingly good! Fresh zesty spicy fruity and oudy. This fragrance got me into getting hold of more from syed junaid alam a house which puts most of the offerings in western department stores to shame. Truly a refreshing change. Silage and longevity outstanding. Ps The first 20 mins are hard to handle a really strong acrid oud note but beautiful once it mellows down and the citrus kicks in most definitely a cooler weather fragrance.

This is a timeless classic fragrance that's been around since the 70's. First of it's a beautiful bottle like most Junaid Perfumes. It's a very bright fresh barber shop gentleman's fragrance that will up lift you and have you smelling clean. It has great projection and silage and lasted for 8 hours on my skin. I highly recommend this if you like strong masculine barbershop type scents!

The bottle in person looks very cheap and nothing like the picture. It is perhaps the ugliest cheapest tackiest looking bottle I have ever seen. They must have changed the way it is made because it is so ugly it must be destroyed. Can't even gift this one to a 12 year old, just looks really bad. Sad, sad, sad on their part.

Very acquired taste, a cologne that you would wear just for yourself if you have a taste for manly, earthy & dirty oud scent, it Lasted for about 8 hours on my skin. Note: the bottle looks a lot cheaper than the picture.

A clean, refreshing oud. The citrus notes are very well balanced. Easily unisex. Sillage: heavy Longevity: moderate to high (better than most other Junaid scents)
