This perfume is amazing! I got my first bottle as a gift from KSA and i, was, just, addicted after first smell. Very feminine, sweet and strong vanilla, it s definetly warm and feels like a nice, sexy, second skin. As it mentioned in the comment above it has little golden shimmers inside perfume liquid but when it s sprayed it s not like shimmery mists; u cant see the shimmers on your skin. To me this perfume lasts really long, i can still smell it even 1 or 2 days after spraying it to my clothes. Sillage s okay. Openning is a sweet vanilla as i mentioned, by time it turns into a more musky-powdery and warm smell. To me; rose is barely there; i d definetly say it s a vanilla perfume, but it s not very oriental and amber vanilla like; definetly it s a balanced and modern vanilla. I tend to wear it during fall and winter because it reminds me of warm, fuzzy sweaters and cozy indoors, i dont think it d be a nice perfume to wear during summer; can be a bit overwhelming. Since my first bottle was a gift and it s not sold in my country; i ordered another bottle to my friend and she brought it to me; but i was always looking for a dupe to this sexy smell which i can easily purchase whenever i want. One day , prior to my flight i was just smelling perfumes in duty free store, and i just found the perfect dupe; this perfume smells soooo alike with Midnight Shimmer by Michael Kors which is now discounted unfortunately. Midnight Shimmer has just a little bit more density and complexity to me,which makes Moattar Dahab, simply more effortlessly attractive to me.

This is very similar at first with my beloved Royal Gold by El Nabil, but I'd say that this vanilla has more layers and depth whereas Royal Gold remains quite linear throughout. It opens with an airy, musky vanilla which gets warmer with time. On skin the base notes are almost nutty, but it never veers into a gourmand. It also does leave gold flecks on your skin which is a magical little addition! The juice itself is high-viscosity as the gold flecks float in it for a long time after use, and take ages to settle on the bottom. Even though the bottle is a simple design, it is beautiful to look at because of the glittering shine. On clothes the perfume stays very noticeable for hours, I spritzed a bit on my knit hat and it still smells lovely two days later. On my arm it became a skinscent after about three hours, but it is cold and I'm sure that this perfume, like most Arabian perfumes, is meant to be used in warmer climates. This is a safe buy if you don't mind musky notes, it is quite elegant and there's nothing too stuffy or spicy here, as it can be the case with some Arabian compositions.

Very high quality and very underrated vanilla scent. Had a prominent milky creaminess that I loved in it, even though that is not listed anywhere. I think it's amazing for women although it's far too sweet a fragrance for me to feel comfortable wearing. Lasted for days on my clothes, incredible longevity, none of the notes seem to completely dissapear with the drydown. Had very strong projection. Although it was quite strong and easily cloys, and makes me naseous/gives me headaches. Incredible scent, value, and quality.

I love the smell of vanilla which can create a good mood to enjoy the day. This perfume is suitable for the night, although it can also be used during the day. Vanilla gives the impression that gourmand is not boring and long lasting on the skin. Interestingly there is a golden gliter in the liquid and when sprayed on the skin will leave a beautiful sheen. The price is affordable but the smell is amazing. I highly recommend this perfume to women.

Blind buy. I have not been disappointed! At the first spray I felt the sweetness and vanilla that mixed perfectly. Suddenly reminded me to chopard female but even better than that! I really love it! Not so strong and nice😍 I can't really smell the rose but surely there will be.

It has some similarities with Silky Woods from Goldfield&Banks, but without the smokiness and woody notes. It's a beautiful vanilla scent for cozy autumn days!

Warm vanilla wrapped in soft rose and clean musk. Not a cupcake, not smoky. Just creamy, golden, skin-like sweetness that sits close and glows quietly. One of those cozy Middle Eastern vanillas that feels better worn than smelled in the air.

I bought this expecting a scent similar to midnight shimmer by MK with great performance. Unfortunately I was disappointed as the scent is so light and it doesn’t project nor is it long lasting . I will keep trying it and I hope it changes :( Update: I found that on skin, performance is weak like u may get 4 hours. On cloths, it stays for over 10 hours !

Moattar Dhab came in the mail today. Upon first opening & spraying, the waft of children’s paste (the one from art class that kids like to eat) struck my nose. I had to wash my hands. It smells like Golden Sand but not as headache inducing bathroom air freshener. So far, it smells very synthetic. I tried layering it with Ameer Al Oud Intense Oud. Terrible idea. I’m disappointed in this blind buy after hearing great reviews of this being a yummy vanilla. This is a scent I wanted to like. Honestly, for half the price (I paid $55 for MD), I’d rather Bare Vanilla by VS. It’s not a complex scent but BV delivers on that delicious, soft vanilla that makes you want your chunky sweater and a hot cup of tea. I let MD macerate. And macerate. And macerate some more. The smell of paste is still there. So I gifted it to my son and it smells great on him (although that hint of paste is still there.)

Punches way above its price and looks. There is a woody accord not mentioned but it's there. Lasts for weeks on fabric (big error on stashing the tester strip on my sling bag and forgetting it's there). I just wished it worked on my skin better, it has that burnt sugar scent after several hours and not in a sweet caramel way.

This perfume is deliciously lovely. It's one for the oriental vanilla lovers. First spray I get all the soft and sweet vanilla extract with what I can tell is some resins to warm it up even more, almost like an amber note. The rose is very dry and powdery and sits in behind the vanilla, making it very calm. The scent doesn't screech at all, it melds with my skin and radiates a fluffy vanilla powder cloud around me. It's a very comfortable, warm and a touch spicy oriental fragrance. The juice itself contains some shimmer, if I look close I can see it on my hands, but after an hour I don't see them anymore. The scent stays very close to the skin, like a skin scent and dies down a lot. Two hours later, I can't smell it anymore, but I continue to get wafts of vanilla cloud around me and I know who smells so good.

Great projection and lasting ability 👏🏼 It’s a sweet, strong, vanilla and musk. If I were to compare it to an American perfume, it has similarities to Michael Kors Shimmering Nights. The vanilla is somehow not very gourmand, it’s inedible smelling vanilla. The real star of this fragrance is how long and strong it lasts, it really deserves a round of applause 👏🏼, SOOO many perfumes lack these qualities, and then a second round of applause, and third 👏🏼 and fourth 👏🏼 lol. Something about several vanilla fragrances from the Middle East last and last and last, I’m very impressed by it.

This is vanilla, rose and Egyptian musk blended to perfection! It smells like sweet warm creamy sands, very sensual and intoxicating. It has an oil base with gold glitter that gives you're skin a nice shimmery glow. Projection and silage is moderate, not strong but not weak and lasts around 5 hours on my skin. They also have a Moattar Dhab for men that is more on the spicy fresh side and is equally as good! Junaid Perfumes is my favorite middle eastern house from Oman.

This smells very nice, warm and sweet. I think it resembles Golden Sands and Casablanca. However, it's a lighter version of both. I appreciate that because you're not always in the mood "beast-mode" projection and this is a more casual version, but still delicious.

Beastmode vanilla with a very subtle Arabian hint: it's not oud, it's not smoke or resins either - it's just the way the fragrance is blended, carries an Eastern mystique.
