Serene Santal

This is one of my favorite sandalwood fragrances, it’s cozy and a little sweet. Very smooth and not pickley at all. Softly spiced with the cardamom, it warms up throughout the day with the Peru balsam and cashmeran. I absolutely adore it. It’s a standout from the line, although I do have my eye on OG!

As an avid sandalwood hater - I will say I tried this on my hand and thought “Oh, This is the first sandalwood prominent fragrance I’d consider owning”. Lol So take that as you want. It’s probably a fleeting feeling - I have a sandalwood aversion. But if you don’t - this one is really lovely. Signed a sandalwood hater

A nice, sweetened, synthetic sandalwood accord with a gentle dustiness from synthetic iris. It’s an easy wear and something that feels perfectly unisex. It’s neither masculine nor feminine as any gender could pull this off. I don’t mind the gentle powder that displays in the heart either. The spices could be stronger but the creamy lactonic cardamom is the icing on the cake. There’s a sweetness from the amber in the base that is persistent throughout. Imagine a sandalwood fragrance without any actual sandalwood and that’s what you get here! This would be an 8.5/10 for how easy it is to wear and not a single person would dislike this however after seeing the price it’s a 4/10 because in no world should this cost over $150 max. I layered the fragrance with some vintage Mysore sandalwood and was surprised at how elevated this feels. It perfectly blends with real sandal so if you have some at home swipe a couple drops on your skin and spray over the top.

This is a lovely perfume. It opens with a sharp sandalwood note, but as it dries down it becomes more aromatic and powdery at the same time. It has that perfumey vibe in the best way possible—woody, aromatic, and softly powdery. There’s something about it that feels nostalgic, like a classic perfume vibe.
