Cuirissime

Wow! This one is a masterpiece! Violet leaves here develop into the most beautiful raspberry trail and the leather note is so soft and pleasant! I am usually not such a fan of leather scents but this one is very gentle. I am truly in love. Such a gorgeous fragrance! Leaning more feminine, by the way.

This is really good, unlike any smell I have sniffed before. floral leather with a dose of berries , best of the samples I have tried so far. Great scent that's going on the wishlist :)

Well, well, well. You look at the notes or a basic description or even the formula provided, and you cringe hard and think...okay so Raspberry and leather....hmmmm... what raspberry and leather combo's are out there? Then your mind recoils after whizzing through a universe teeming with them, until you fix upon the largest and arguably brightest star in that crowded galaxy...Tuscan leather. But it's not. As bizarre as that sounds, it's truly not. Yes of course the association is there, but this is much more light and playful and as someone who's not really a fan of raspberry and fruity crap being juxtaposed with leather accords (hmmm...FM recently anyone? errrrr...The MOON, PROMISE, ROSE & CUIR) I've got to say this stuff is pretty nice. The jammy, sweet raspberry note is quite fresh and not cloying, the violet note is subtle and a little powdery and works insanely well with the fruitiness. Then there's the leather accord which is nothing hugely accurate but doesn't have any jarring, edgey bite or recognisable tropes of too much IBQ. This is a lighter, floral cuir base, a leather which is iris feeling and lightly cosmetic in approach. It smells more considered to me like the new Tuscan leather extreme or the Ombre leather if you had to compare it to a TF leather. It's pretty good then, but still not hugely in my taste wheelhouse. I'd just say don't dismiss it before wearing it.

I definitely get Tuscan Leather here, but it's more than that. I was looking for an expression of powdery, fruity, floral leather that punched you in the face a little less and offered a little more versatility in warmer weather. If Tuscan Leather is an American Tourist, Cuirissime is a mild mannered Brit. Until I found this, the closest to what I was looking for was actually 'Jubilant Pine & Patchouli' by Molton Brown (which is incredible for the price if you can find it) but it didn't have anywhere near the quality found in this Jus offering. To my nose, this brings the Fruity Leather combo of Tuscan Leather and the Violet Leaf of Ombre Leather Parfum; but wears softer, is better blended and is of higher quality. The Leather is less brash and the Violet Leaf is amped and so it can sing on nights outside of the cold depths of winter. I'm wearing Cuirissime on a warm, humid day today and it's staying the right side of obnoxious. That's masterful for a leather-forward fragrance!

Straight up leather for the first hour and a half. And then smoothly changing vibes to sweet violets with a hints of powdery iris notes. Masculine at first, feminine next. Definitely a unisex scent. I don’t pick up much amber or musk or hedione, but I know that iris smelling so sweet and powdery is because of these kind of notes. At the beginning I found it quite overwhelming when I spray the perfume on my skin. An hour later, I was thrilled with the discovery of this scent. Sillage and longevity were okay but I was not that impressed. However, I did appreciate the price range. I’m still working through JUS Parfums’ floral sample set and Cuirissime is my favorite so far, along with Sopoudrage.

For the floral violet leather lovers. 100% unisex, it is a fresh and soft leather. For all the seasons to my opinion. Delicate, with a leather note reminiscent of tanneries... I smell violet, leather and iris only. 7/10 PERFUMER'S NOTE (Fabrice Pellegrin): "I imagined a soft leather like a satin skin and I combined it with violet leaf to give this leather note a fresh, slightly herbaceous facet that supports the floral notes of the Iris. It’s a unique combination, at once refined and sensual."

'Cute nonconformist' Powdery, dolly violet candy from Creed Love In Black + smokey raw biker jacket from TF Tuscan Leather / Miller Harris Leather Rouge + ozonic violet leaf. Not really aquatic. Too distinctively different from Tuscan Leather, please stop its association. This is a uniquely stylish and modernised leather hinting lolita boudoir; I am here for it. If they had 30ml, I would get a bottle.

An initial blast of fruit juice (fresh and sour), then a powdery mid-tone, and leather in the drydown. The same super dynamic evolution of the fragrance as most of the others I've tried so far from this house. I don't like leather so I will definitely refrain from judging this fragrance, but I guess this is kind of an unusual combination.

Chemical assault disguised as iris-violet. Could be some sort of Armani jock scent. Awful.

The iris and violet combo here is so beautiful. It reminds me a little bit of the violet in Love in Black by Creed. Unfortunately, it also has a dense fog or harsh ambroxan like aromachemical. It hurts my sinuses. It feels like acetone! nail polish remover! Why do perfumers believe that mixing nasty cheap aromachemicals with nice regular notes will give them a great result? they really think it is ok to charge "niche" prices for a colorful presentation and a chic name? but the scent is just a harsh chemical bomb that feels toxic? Enough of that! this scent could have been perfect without the harsh aromachemicals.

Quick Sniff The comparison with TF Tuscan or Ombre Leather is understood but can be unfare incase you are going to underestimate the Idea of this scent as its not a straight forward knock off of ombre Leather. The Leather in here is rich , deep and mixed with orris in a nice way , I would say a much wearable version of Armani's Cuir Amethyste. For Iris/Leather lovers a must try Cheers
