Gingerlise

I have the discovery set and this is one of the ones I saved for last, so certain was that it would be a love thing. At first blush this is very ginger forward, it's a shy scent, elusive and ephemeral. I get wafts of it and then like a spectre it disappears again. This won't get you noticed, it's more of a gesture than a grab. It's dried down now and it reminds me of JHAG Moscow Mule but also the formulation of Light Blue that I wore in 2001. If you already have MM or Light Blue this may be redundant but it truly is a lovely scent, pure nostalgia for this old slut of a woman.

I'm in love with this perfume - it's a beautiful, uplifting ginger and citrus blend. I'm not usually a big fan of ginger, but this feels happy and well-balanced to me. I just wish it was a bit stronger/longer lasting - I find that I spray a lot of it on, and it still fades pretty quickly from there. Still makes a lovely pick-me-up scent for a high energy day.

Straight up fresh, uplifting at first you get the dinginess of the ginger and writhing time it’s settled down and beautiful composition , great daily fragrance mainly for summer and spring ! 100% unisex

I was expecting to like this one as much as I did not because of the ginger element but the fact that it's not that easy to pull off. Gingerlise doesn't manage it either really. I think I was imagining a kind of crystallised ginger in this, not sure I was actually smelling it though? However it gives that impression. I will give it a 'light' transparent ginger note at best however that's not where the fun lies. Gingerlise has a glorious citrus opening which has all the freshness of lemongrass with none of the horrible part, so easy to overdose in a citrus accord but so beneficial to it's lasting power and overall roundness, when you get it right. To me it had lime dominance, not the green bergamot or typical citrus this packs the punch and originality I look for in a fresh fragrance. However, it's very short lived sitting on a light musky base and only lasted a couple of hours. Shame because this was a surprising like for me.

The aptly-named Gingerlise lives up to its name: a sparkling, gingery-citrusy juice with an aromatic facet. The opening was vibrant, yet not too overbearing. After it dried down, I didn't really get the musk note. Overall, Gingerlise is a great choice for summer or even après-workout. Sadly, the performance was on the weaker side for me, and the price point was quite high.

100% unisex, very fresh with ginger and lemon. For summer (very hot day), to feel fresh and clean. Open space compatible... You need to try if you like Spicy Heperide perfumes. You can try this brand with the discovery set. 8/10 for summer In this brand, I prefer Gingerlise better than Rosamonda (very green rose) or Spingpop (basil, heroine and bergamote)

Such an uplifting fragrance - instant perk-me-up with a fizzy citrus opening. Ginger is what gives it that effervescent quality. It's happy, to say the least. Unfortunately, it disappears completely within an hour or two, leaving a barely there musky trail.

Very synthetic smelling lemon overdose, some other chemicals, blah blah. I'm starting to get bored with this brand and I'm halfway through the sample set. This smells cheap, synthetic and obnoxiously strong.

Glorified insect repellent spray for me. My skin absolutely projected the lemongrass and NOTHING ELSE. Instacrubbed after an hour, tried to give it a chance but all I got is lemongrass.

And it's exactly that. The opening is bright, fresh, zesty, sunny... beautiful! Sadly on my skin it lasts for just half an hour, after what it turns into an intimate floral-woody musk. The price point is a bit high - € 50 for 25ml and € 180 for 100ml.
