Spicydelice

In the quest for my perfect soft spicy fragrance, Spicydelice appears to be a winner. It smells great, it is a warm, spicy, sweet, powdery fragrance. It has a good performance and it’s reasonably priced. And has cloves in the notes, my most favorite spice ever! Spicydelice is a soft but powerful, moderately sweet, spicy scent with a heavy dose of vanilla and a touch of aromatic nuance, bordering on gourmand. I will say right off the bat that I prefer Spicydelice over Starlight with the risk of upsetting some people here. Unlike Starlight, Spicydelice has a bit of sweetness mixed in with the spices and some aromatic elements from davana. It’s a bit more complex and interesting in my opinion, while maintaining a smooth and refined character. In the same time, I feel like it suits better to my personal taste and feels more feminine. And it’s less than half the price of Startlight! My overall assessment is that if you want a fragrance centred purely around soft spices without any other elements, go for Starlight. If you want a scent with soft spices but you prefer some sweetness and aromatic notes added in the composition, choose Spicydelice. Performance is about the same, great on both fragrances, presentation and packaging is more luxurious on Starlight than Spicydelice but also costs three times more than Spicydelice. J.U.S Parfums has absolutely amazing fragrances, it deserves more attention and exposure than it gets!

This is a beautiful cardamom fragrance! It’s warm a little sweet and spicy. I would say this is a unisex fragrance that fit both men and women. I am the kind of woman that enjoy unisex fragrances but I wouldn’t say this would be a safe blind buy for women who are not into unisex fragrances.

Sandalwood and a bouquet of spices: cardamom, ginger, pink berries, pepper, nutmeg, cinnamon and cloves. Perfect for fall, a rainy day cozy perfume. 100% unisex! Warm and sexy 🧡 For spicy lovers (in particular cardamon). Cozy! For me, it is Gris Charnel of BDK without the fig note. 9/10

Absolutely love this one! I think this is my favorite from the brand. Gorgeous delicious treat with a hint of spice to add that sexy touch! Love, love, love! Pretty balanced, perfect for fall <3 For spicy lovers, I think it is perfectly unisex but slightly on a sweeter side.

This is a wonderful surprise from my perfume subscription! Right up my alley, with the soft, warm spice, a little sweetness and some interesting aromatics. Will be a staple for me this cold season. PS. @since88, Starlight by Xerjoff is what @maya lilac is referring to ;)

Cardamom is a love for me, def spicy & delice! I love this!

Warm Spicy, Slightly Sweet, Aromatic, Woody Smells like drinking a chai latte reading a book next to a potted davana plant at Christmas time. This is an amber scent I can get behind! I am surprised I like this one so much. I think the aromatic accord from the davana and the fact that it is only slightly sweet to my nose is what makes this so lovely for me. Starts out spicy aromatic and almost fresh at the top with a lot of peppery clove as it dries down I get more cinnamon and nutmeg and an almost fruity note (probably from the davana) and some aromatics and then it ends in a pleasant slightly spicy, slightly sweet and slightly woody base.

Off the top of my head, it’s reminiscent of Obsession by Calvin Klein (old-fashioned, musky, spicy, ambery?) upon first spray and Ani by Nishane (an interesting spicy and greenish vanilla) in the dry-down. If you like either of those, you’ll probably like this too. I’d layer this with a little extra vanilla something for some added sweetness. Unisex but in a vintage cologne way lol. Might lean a little masculine to the average person. I’d wear this to a special occasion and in colder weather.

@maya lilac Wt-F is STARLIGHT ???? I have read your comment more than ten times and tried to understand what "Starlight" is and what exactly you're comparing Spicydelice to. Starlight? Is that a brand? The name of a perfume, or what? I absolutely don't understand your use of the word "Starlight... OK... I'm getting down to writing a review. After extensive observation of this perfume, my conclusion remains the same. For me, it has a more modern vibe of Trussardi Jeans Men from 2004. Why do I say this (justifiably)? Because if I go back in time to 2008 or 2009, my friend's dad had that perfume. Both my friend and I would repeatedly douse ourselves in that perfume before going out. That fragrance etched itself into some really nice memories and nostalgic moments from that time. Yes, this is a modern take on a truly unique Italian perfume. Trussardi really had its own unique direction in perfumery, especially when you consider the popular Italian "jeans" culture of the '90s, when it was simply trendy to go shopping for various brands of jeans in Italy. Okay, the introduction is over, and here comes my comparison. But I wouldn't ramble on like this if my comparison didn't make sense. I would really love to find Trussardi Jeans Men now and compare it directly. I know and feel in advance... these are not two identical perfumes, but they evoke and trigger an indescribable sense of nostalgia for that fragrance. I believe there's a connection, a shared trait, some hidden charismatic note that these two perfumes have in common. I'll conclude the introduction by saying that this is a "modern" creation... a more modern take on Trussardi Jeans Men from 2004. For me, this perfume is honestly very unique. Interesting, warm, spicy, moderate and nicely rounded. A very interesting combination of notes in a different harmony plays a really good show here. The perfume is not some kind of big bang or mega hit in terms of development. There are no excessive sudden movements, additional scenes and screaming riffs here. Everything here is very nice and comfortable. A pleasant, really pleasant perfume, which can serve rich mothers when choosing what to buy their son for his birthday or graduation*. Maybe some girl will find this toy for her boyfriend's 23rd birthday. But this perfume can also work for older guys like me. This perfume can ideally be worn with 35 years on its back. Even though I don't wear jeans on my horse, I will imagine that the jeans are...(preferably from Italy)...

This is such a Striking fragrance; a more wearable version of African leather. Love it
