Feather Supreme

Well, unlike most other people who tried Feather Supreme and rated it as a like, for me it’s a total love! I am genuinely surprised that it’s not more hyped and doesn’t show up on tops like: clean aesthetic girl or wedding perfumes. It’s the perfect perfume for these categories! This scent has to have, in the opening, one of the most realistic green apple smell I’ve ever smelled. So crisp and juicy, mixed with the usual citruses, like mandarin oranges and bergamot. The rose, tuberose and jasmine from the heart notes combine so effortlessly with the sparkling opening and create a rich, creamy, flowery mid dry down. It’s one of those scents that I instantly associate with a young, white dressed bride having the ceremony during mid spring days. From the base notes, the labdanum is the star nite that shines the most to me. Gives such a grounding, warming feel to the fruits and flowers. Might not be a groundbreaking perfume but Feather Supreme is a splendidly crafted one. It has the magic touch of Dominique Ropion all over it and you can tell that just by smelling it! Great stuff, a bit overpriced. A clean, crisp, pure, minimalist, super elegant floral perfume. Generational wealth heiress would smell like. Something about Feather Supreme puts me in that mindset!

I love this fragrance so much that it hurts me to say, it's not worth the price. The longevity is sooooo weak. If you only want to smell amazing for 2-3 hours, this is your girl. I'm not even a huge fan of florals but this a shining exception. This is floral done to perfection....for just a little while. If anyone is selling a bottle at a lower price I will definitely buy it, but full price? Hell nah.

Taking a break from the heavy gourmands for the day with this fluffy, fruity musk scent. I love this, it’s uplifting, like jumping into the clouds, but seductive in that “pink feathered, old Hollywood” brownstone in the movie Harlem Nights.

This smells like you just left the salon. But I love that salon hair product smells so it works for me.

This is quite an intriguing scent to me. I get more ylang, musk, apple, mock orange blossom and rose than anything else. There is something about it that makes me think of not very sweet guava juice. There's something juicy about it. The tuberose is very low key on my skin as is the patch. Its quite a feminine and a sort of retro scent. Not heavy but luscious and a bit fruity. It doesn't screech like a diva so not at all scary and overbearing. I do like it but I'm not sure if it suits me. I can imagine a woman wearing this to an outdoor summer party. Its a casual and friendly scent to wear with bright colours and a flick of liquid eyeliner

I actually like that fragrance! It reminds me of a scent that I was exposed to sometime during kindergarten or early school days, hence it's pretty soothing. The opening is not that nice but fades away quickly to reveal an elegant core of powdery florals, and later on some musk and patchouli. I wore this perfume while listening to the Spotify playlist and to be honest, didn't feel it complemented it. But that might be due to the memory the fragrance evokes. As to the feather reference, I kinda get it. Long story short - wouldn't buy a full bottle, but enjoyed the experience!

I got a sample of this years ago through Ipsy . At first I wasn’t Into it and it sat on the shelf for a long time but over the years my tastes have changed . I find this to be quite a strong and long lasting perfume . Excellent quality . It’s a tuberose bomb, musky tuberose, very fresh and cozy . Maybe a little mature , reminds me slightly of narciso Rodriguez pure musc , I absolutely adore this scent but I tend to only wear it at home . Even though I love it , I’m not sure I would wear it out in public. I really want to try their other scents but they are fairly spendy

Just here to say it's underrated. I may be biased because I feel like Dominique Ropion can do no wrong, but this is a lovely modern chypre with a drydown to die for. Yes it's a sparkly citrusy-fruity start with a full floral heart which has been a done a million times, but it's done very well. drydown is truly where it shines: deep, voluptuous, extremely well blended, no overdose of musk or patchouli, labdanum is also subdued, it is overtly feminine but classy. It's not quite the profile I gravitate towards but it's still an amazing perfume for modern chypre lovers.

Working through the Jusbox discovery set, and this is one of the ones I've enjoyed a lot, even though it's not my usual scent profile or something I'd wear. The way these fruits and florals blend together to create an incredibly comforting, nurturing, feminine scent is masterful. Not cloying at all, which, conceptually, it shouldn't be given how it evokes total lightness with its name and inspiration. Even though this is not something I'd buy for myself, I can certainly appreciate how well this is blended. Beautiful!

I grew up on the music of Billie Holiday's, Louis Armstrong's, Gloria Gaynor's. This is just a drop of those diamonds that sounded in the house of my childhood. Vinyl records... A very high-quality player - my father was a music lover. This morning, I "put on a dress of aroma" dedicated to Aretha Franklin, listening to her songs. White flowers, giving off bitterness. The strength, brightness and purity of the sound of the aroma.. and the softness of a feather... BRAVISSIMO Domenique Ropion ❤️🔥

I'm surprised to see so many negative reviews. This is actually very soft feminine fragrance with gentle but present sillage. It isn't a "grandma" smell by any means, as there is absolutely no sharpness or heaviness in it. It has floral opening with musky drydown, reminds of clean and groomed skin of a woman applied an expensive lotion. This tuberose is suitable for office wear which is quite rare.

Tart, fresh opening that works so well in summer. I think of sea breeziness, thunderstorm approaching. I love notes of tuberose and jasmine and the way they have been rounded out here with freshness, you’ll find no creaminess here. However, the issue is that it quickly vanished from my skin. I can barely smell anything in like 2 hours except musk. I was actually considering to buy this full size.

i'm actually not sure what i'm smelling. the first spray reminded me of every mature white floral i've ever smelled on an older female family member. vintage but still sophisticated. i sampled this on a hot humid summer evening. i'm having a lot of trouble detecting anything crisp, tart or citrusy. There's a whisper of something fruity. But it's not quite enough to cut the heavy musk. For me, it went straight into heady indolic musky jasmine. I can hardly detect rose or ylang ylang. I do smell the tiniest bit of sweetness from the tuberose, though. It's not bad. I think i was just expecting something a little more unique and zingy. It actually kind of reminds me of Kate Walsh Billionaire Boyfriend, without the dewy green opening.

Not one of my favourites from Jusbox. The notes look nice on paper, but on my skin the blend of fruits and florals smells quite dated. It also smells a bit artificial; I can see why others have compared it to air freshener. This house does a lot of complex realistic scents but unfortunately this just isn’t one of them.

A nice powdery floral perfume. But that's about it? It's nice? For the price I definitely expected something more gourmand or even just a little more complex. Honestly speaking it is a nice perfume, but I cannot say more beyond that. The performance is pretty good and the sillage is decent.

Femme floral musk. Seemingly unique profile, but it’s been done before. And it wasn’t good then either. Pass!

Reminds me of the soapy perfumes I wore in middle school, the cheap ones bought in 2012 from possibly-a-drug-front surf shops — like a little girl's idea of what a woman should smell like. This is the type of perfume you wear when you're 13 + you're going to a friend's mall birthday party + she has a hot brother + so you wear a $8 bodycon dress from Wet Seal (as if that distracts from the braces, the general gawkiness, and the fact he's four years older than you). A scent so strongly associated with the grotesque beauty/horror of being a teenage girl in the 2010s that I cannot wear it without wincing. I struggle with apple notes a lot, namely because they can smell so synthetic to the point of nausea. Luckily the tuberose and jasmine here are able to supplant it, but god, that first spray is a little revolting. No creaminess here, just very tart, floral acidity, like a shot of straight vodka. In one last act of mercy (or pity) I'm keeping this on my shelf, but I'm only spraying it when I need a dose of poison medicine.

This isn’t completely terrible but it is a synthetic mishmash, becoming a little more balanced in the drydown. A sticky, sweet floral melange with tuberose in the lead role. I know this is a Ropion mix, but it’s not his finest hour, and one of the ugliest florals I’ve tested in awhile. Supposedly this fragrance “celebrates women’s equal rights that Aretha (Franklin) was fighting for.” And how is that accomplished? Does Jusbox celebrate when you part your money for a bottle of overpriced aromachemicals? Unless Jusbox is donating the profits to women and equal right causes it’s not true. Another marketing gimmick from a company full of them.

I bought this as an Ipsy add-on sample, due to the generous size and that it was a Dominique Ropion. It reminds me of the new Dolly Parton scent. Both have a huge 80s hairspray note which must be partly patchouli or maybe the labdanum, and it is off-putting to me though not terrible. I did not expect it given the notes. It lasted all night on my pajamas -- there is some staying power here. It is hard for me to match scents with sounds, as this brand tries to do.

Oof this is not for me. As others have mentioned this is a strong synthetic that could easily veer into the realm of obnoxious if you are heavy handed (one spray is enough for me). Not sure if it is the patchouli but on me there is a strong sandalwood note that gives this perfume a very dated feel. I'm in my late 20's and will be running this by my mom to see if she enjoys it, otherwise its a toss for me.

This fragrance solidified that I am not a chypre girl. What could be seen as fresh and clean is just sharp and unpleasant to my nose. Thanking the fragrance for the learning opportunity but ultimately will pass off the tester to someone else.

Super powdery, grandmatronly white floral.

Been wearing this all day after receiving an (unsollicited) sample at a department store a few days ago. Sweet, relatively uncomplicated scent to my inexperienced nose. Get the apple and some generic fresh-fruity note, some floral notes - mostly ylang and rose I think rather than tuberose, a good thing in my opinion as I'm not the biggest tuberose fan - and a whiff of pleasant, fresh patchouli (nothing dirty or earthy). As the previous reviewer comments, it seems very appropriate for a summer party or other lighthearted affair. It has an airy quality about it. A bit like a very high quality cleaning product or air freshener. That might sound a bit negative but it's actually a very nice scent, it just has a bit of a commercial/artificial touch about it. Slightly sweet and musky dry-down. Good longevity but projection doesn't appear to be very strong. Will happily use up my sample but don't think I'll be getting a bottle.

An initially fruity creation, which opens with a very sweet and gentle bouquet of white flowers, like her incredible voice. The drydown is strong and incisive, reminding us of this extraordinary woman.

Feather Supreme is a feminine leaning clean citrus floral with a hint of green notes. The fragrance feels very similar to Chanel Paris-Deauville but I like Feather Supreme better because it isn’t characteristically aldyhidic like Chanel. There isn’t a note of nectarine but I definitely smell ripe tart nectarine here like I do with Paris-Deauville. Possibly the combination of citrus, apple, and ylang ylang. The fragrance is really nice and would be best suited for the daytime in spring and summer.

Nice jasmine/tuberose floral with a very subtle sweetness not bubble gummy as wha the notes would look like to me, definitely more typical with an almost boring patchouli dry down that soon comes. Overall nice but just not very exciting and really praiseworthy tbh

Soapy floral. Not something I would wear as a man. This one is very feminine to me. Should be worn lightly in casual or less formal business situations. Don't apply it heavily--it would be obnoxious. Not really a sexy head turning fragrance for me.

This smells identical to a in-home air freshener from Glade or a similar brand. Which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but I’m not sure I would want to present myself to the world smelling like this. Worth a sample.

Pretty, that’s for sure. Sweet, bergamot and tuberose. More designer then niche. Definitely test first to be sure you don’t already have similar fragrances. If you don’t- go for it.

Very artifical scent. Something so chemical in it.... Like hair colour from 90ties. Dislike.
