Good Morning

The perfect aquatic/marine, citrus, floral fresh perfume with a gorgeous magnolia flower shining bright, an annoying violet leaf in the dry down to ruin the smoothness of cashmeran and the cleanness offered by the musk. Luckily to me, the violet leaves are not that intense to overtake the realistic smell of fresh, sweet mandarin, watery magnolia and the refreshing feeling of sea water. I love cashmeran because it makes everything feel so cozy and relaxing, and here does exactly that in the deep dry down. It’s a clean girl type of perfume in my opinion, feminine 100%. Gives me a very real sense of being outside on a shore, or close to a sea, it’s a very calming and relaxing fragrance. Good Morning is what I would have liked Sailing Day by MMM to smell like. A very marine, outdoorsy, ozonic, really photorealistic subtle scent but that’s not a skin scent within 1 hour. Perfect holiday scent, for a day on a beach or just to transport you in that mood during winter days. Because magnolia is quite noticeable, I don’t see many men wearing Good Morning personally. But each to their own, here is mostly voted as a unisex fragrance... The more I go through the testing set, the more I feel in love with Jusbox perfumes. They have great fragrances in all realms of perfumery, for all seasons and both genders, fitting various life styles and personalities, some with phenomenal performance and longevity, some more subdued, but all created with high quality ingredients and all smelling refined, upscale and natural! Nothing feels too perfumy or artificial to my nose from this underrated brand!

I love this fragrance so much! It’s a pure jolt of an almost tart, zesty citrus with a clean smooth finish. There was a guy I liked a long time ago that smelled so good all the time, not from cologne but something in his natural chemistry mixed with his soap or something, and this is that exact scent: clean, bright, and something a little sharp but in a good way. The drydown stays pretty consistent with this fragrance, although it softens and becomes a tiny more soft and fluffy. I’ve smelled other similar fragrances that start promising, but they end up inducing a headache, turning bitter, or going super dry and woodsy. Not this one; it is a happy, truly “Good Morning!” that leads to a peaceful afternoon. Not my signature scent, but I’d wear this a lot in spring and early summer, as I feel it is definitely a fresher, cooler fragrance.

I LOVE a fresh burst of a perfume involving citrus and other happiness-inducing notes. But growing up in an era of Cool Water reigning supreme with literally everyone around me, I wasn’t sure what I was going to think about the marine notes. A bit of PTSD if you will. But can confirm this is spectacular, the marine adds a uniqueness to this scent without going too salty or too beach-inspired. What’s even better, for a fresh fragrance this lasted a solid 3-4 hours on me, only to disappear after a gym workout, but still stayed on my clothes. To note, I tried this on a cool and overcast spring day. I have a small feeling that the marine notes in summer may turn a little unpleasant on my skin, but I shall test it out then. Would definitely consider a purchase once I use up some of the other freshies in my collection.

This makes tribute to the name. Imagine stepping out of the shower after taking an Intense and meticulous bath with good quality products. And when you see yourself in the mirror, you just know you are clean AF. Well this is that. This starts marine with just hints of citrus. After maybe an 1 hour or so, its starts to incorporate the flowers, but not like bouquet flowers. Flowers so fresh that its intoxicated. All mixed with a clean musk scent at the drydown. Bright and uplifting scent. Hot weather essential. Full bottle worthy. Try it on a 2 ml decant.

Amazing...soft marine, loud musky-magnolia-mandarin. A fantastic introduction to aquatic scents. In short, a strong mandarin note accompanied by the most perfectly blended supporting notes...like an orchestra, as LMBelvi mentions below. At the time of writing this is only rated 3.96. Realistically this should be around 4.30. Yes, it's that good. This was a blind buy for me. Very happy customer!

PERFECT for hot summers: salty marine notes + bitter citrus

Looking at one from the house of Jusbox today. Jusbox is an Italian niche perfume house launched in 2016 by siblings Andrea and Chiara Valdo. The whole concept is that music has a perfume, with every fragrance inspired by a genre, artist, or cultural movement. Good Morning in particular is inspired by the wonder of the breaking day, that quiet space between dream and reality, along with the classical piece "Morning Mood." It is one of those melodies that feels instantly familiar even if you do not know the name, the kind you have probably heard in films, cartoons, nature documentaries, or commercials at some point in your life because it gets used so often to signal sunrise, calm, or a new beginning. The opening is a very pleasant dewy musky orange aquatic scent. The best way I can describe it is a mix of Louis Vuitton Afternoon Swim and D.S. & Durga Steamed Rainbow with some added musk. I would also compare it to Clinique Happy for Men although this is less citrus heavy and sits more in that light nostalgic clean category. You get the orange from Afternoon Swim but softer and less tart, along with that ozonic dewy greenness from Steamed Rainbow and a smooth clean musk running through it. After about 30 minutes the musk starts to come forward more while the orange begins to fade into the background. The scent becomes greener and more airy with that rain on freshly cut grass feeling coming from the violet leaf. There is also a subtle floral touch from magnolia that stays soft and delicate without becoming sweet. After an hour to an hour and a half it settles further into musk and violet leaf with that clean fabric like feel from cashmeran. It almost has that fresh laundry effect while still keeping a slightly natural green edge. From this point on it stays fairly consistent for the rest of the wear. I am usually not the biggest fan of clean laundry style fragrances because while they smell pleasant they often do not feel very exciting to me. This one is different in that it is very convincing in what it is trying to do. It is very much a what you see is what you get fragrance. Simple clean and straightforward. I do wish the performance was a bit stronger but the scent itself is well made and easy to wear. I would say this leans slightly feminine but it is so light, airy, and inoffensive that it could easily work for anyone. It just gives off a very clean and put together vibe. Overall, if you want a simple musky slightly citrus clean fragrance this could definitely work for you. Just do not expect anything groundbreaking or loud performance. What you get instead is a well crafted minimalist clean scent that captures that calm early morning feeling quite nicely, very much in the spirit of the piece that inspired it. Smelt this perfume last year March 2024 during my purchase of my PDM Greenely in HBroma perfume shop and it was my first sniff of all the Jusbox perfumes and this one was an immediate attention grabber to my nose. Jusbox Goodmorning review :) The moment you pray this citrus bomb it elevates into this light but really sharp orange smell, i smelt a few designer fragrences and niche fragrences with orange in them and my days those dont compare to this. The first solid 1 hour and a half its a sharp citrus blended with the freshness from the sea notes and for sure it smells like your peeling your orange away having those zesty citrusy freshness whiffs combined with the sea breeze in a hot summers day. Then after that you get this lovely toned down citrus from before but much much pleasant and its sweeter too. The flowers in the notes remind me of the clothes being hung up after being washed in laundry detergent but the air makes it lighter and less chemically smell. It really is nice and light after a while but projection is lost its more of a close to the skin type scent because of that musk. Either way if you put this on your basically a walking citrusy hot shower projection beast haha. Conclusion - yes this fragrence is very good but all jusbox fragrences are 78ml so if your looking to buy a more expensive fragrence in their line then that will heavily put you off on buying it. Nevertheless i give this fragrence an 8/10 very very good freshy for both genders hands down

The opening smells like celery that is not listed. And I would say that the celery transforms into a myrtle or something similar revealing fresh fruitiness that might be a mix of magnolia and mandarin oranges. I dare to guess that it might be cashmeran that gives this touch of celery and myrtle to it. Whatever. The fragrance is fresh, leaning... unisex. It might have been marked “sport” if released as male designer fragrance or “eau fraiche” if it would be the female one. I would wear it as a mood booster for grey mornings and boring date nights (like you already have a date planned but barely want to go and you still prefer to go out than postponing). I imagine an adventurous person who wears it. It is a friendly fragrance, for someone who makes others smile. The longevity on my skin is not quite good so if you have such an issue, too, try it on the clothes or hair as well.

Jusbox Good morning—an enchanting transformation from sharp bright citrus in the opening , to gradually more floral accompaniment. Kinda like the rhythm section joining in after a brass solo—the citrus was like a bright trumpet, and the composition gets fuller as it goes along. I had been looking a LONG time for a marine scent that I could like, as it seemed I SHOULD like them, but I had so many failures. This is the first one described as oceanic that I really embrace. It’s bracing and sharp (but not bitter) in the early stages, then softer, but still you can smell the orange carrying along with the composition all the way—which for me is ideal. A very nice scent. I would suggest for daytime--work, casual socializing, and just for no reason...

Good Morning is a simple freshie, perfect for summertime. It this fragrances opens with sweet mandarin along side a strong magnolia. I find this to be a very linear fragrance. As it dries the citrus fades a bit and the aquatic muskiness comes out, however it never changes drastically in my opinion. It has moderate lasting power and projection. Sits pretty close to the skin after a few hours, but I got this to be an easy everyday scent so I don’t mind.

I don’t get too much of a marine note from Good Morning. The citrus and magnolia pairing works very nicely, similar to Lucienne from Luis but less linen/powdery and remains fresher. I prefer this one. It’s a pretty simple and uncomplicated fragrance but it’s a nice and easy summer freshie. I’m not sure if it serves a niche not better served by other fragrances however. Although, when the citrus and magnolia come together just right...

Fruity sweet opening with mandarin and magnolia It subtely reminds me of a shampoo - the fresh scent that lingers after you wash your hair Then it becomes more aquatic and salty, but it still has a fresh shampoo vibe Kind of reminds me of hotel soaps in a good way It's very subtle, clean and fresh - the musk in the base is making it very soft and calm despite the more fresh and zesty top notes

Nice fresh citrusy summer scent. The mandarin is quite prominent, as are the sea notes. I’d say this is more marine than aquatic, as it has a slightly more masculine salty vibe. Goes a little softer and more floral in the dry-down but there’s not a lot of change. Slightly disappointing longevity but that’s pretty standard for a freshie like this.

An aquatic perfume with citrusy tangerine and a hint of white florals. Fresh perfume. Summery. Unisex. As a woman though, I prefer Imagine by Margot Elena. It's got a brighter tangerine note, with some saltiness and coconut in the background and is more feminine leaning. I give Good Morning a 7 out of 10. For reference, I'm female.

Good Morning is my go to after a shower! Ironically I use it at night the most before bed. It feels so clean and fresh. Watery floral, dash of citrus, and soapy to my nose. Would like a bit more longevity. I really enjoy Jusbox Parfums, they are well balanced and have character.

Really nice, aquatic, citric, orangey, floral musk. Great blending. Does deteriorate into a floral musk as I expected, any sooner than later, which is why this doesn’t get a 😍 rating.

Citrus -muskiness that reminds me of For Her EDT but it’s a lot more smoother, with some light marine notes and soft watery magnolia. Very pleasant, I quite like this

good smelling flesh scent clean and delicate dumb reach unisex

Finished my sample of this, and well, meh. I really love the opening and the first couple hours, but afterwards it turns into salty, dusty musk and it makes me sneeze, LOL. This is probably a me thing though, because no one else is seeming to have this problem. Keeping my issues with the dry down aside, I can see this being a frag that is pretty widely well liked. It got through an entire work day and I was always able to smell it on my clothes the following day. Definitely unisex, if not more masculine. It's an easy to wear freshie but it's a bit too expensive for what it is in my opinion.

Ever so slightly Afternoon Swimish to me but too much cashmeran ruins this scent for me not that I like orange as a citrus in the first place, I just get these weird sour undertones every now and again that throw me off, but otherwise is a pleasant but maybe boring and average department store freshie

This smells just like Hendricks gin, Cabernet edition. Juniper berries aren’t even listed here so I don’t know how it’s so spot on. As someone else said, it’s very linear. Since I don’t want to smell like I just splashed gin all over myself, this one’s a pass. Refreshing though!

A clean laundry scent with a bit of citrus sprinkled on top. One of those very office safe fragrances that should in theory be entirely inoffensive and calming. Clean, simple, no sharp edges.

Another reminder for myself that perfume must always be tested on skin, not just on the paper blotter. Nice clean ozonic freshie in the opening, but in the dry down has a weird accord that turns stale, smells like rotten eggs on my skin. Maybe it's the ozonic notes or salt that isn't listed, not sure, but it made me gag. Dry down is very similar to Sailing Day by Maison Margiela or Sel D'Argent by BDK, same salty fishy smell.

I am terribly sorry. I really am. Nothing pains me more than taking up a greater quantity of time and space than should be allotted to one person, and I truly hope I am not doing that now. Yes, this humble review is a good deal longer than most others, but if I were to shorten it any further than I already have, I believe it would be utterly useless. I have carefully considered the following words, and after lengthy deliberation, I have come to the conclusion that each and every one of them is necessary to provide a robust review of this unique, aromatic elixir. There was a period of time three years ago during which I was unemployed, with little to fill my days. At first, I found this quite enjoyable. I have spent much of my waking life toiling for the enrichment of others who are significantly more wealthy than I, so it felt nice to be able to spend my time as I pleased, doing as much or as little as suited my current appetite. I would often spend cool mornings ambling hither and yon, traversing the boulevards of the neighborhood in which I lived, looking into the windows of shops, admiring the warm, inviting smells of cafes and bakeries, and sometimes sitting on a well-worn bench near a small pond in a verdant park. I will admit that I would occasionally lose myself in delicious daydreams during these delightful detours. I know that it is not at all polite to become unaware of one’s surroundings while on a public thoroughfare, but nevertheless, I would periodically find myself in unfamiliar areas without any recollection of having walked there. This was usually not a problem. I could wander as much as I pleased, paying little attention to where I was going, and instead, feasting my senses on the simple pleasures that surrounded me. Unfortunately, my selfish reveries did get me into a bit of trouble from time to time. While admiring the sights and sounds of splashing waterfowl as I passed a small yet lively pond, I was struck by an oncoming jogger. I am still uncertain of precisely what happened. I assume that I walked off of my designated lane of the sidewalk and onto the other side, but it is impossible to say for sure. What I do know without a doubt is that the jogger, who was much more sturdily built than I, knocked me to the ground. Rather than stop to ask if I had been harmed, the man simply continued on his jog, but not before letting fly a great gob of sputum in my direction. Thankfully, he had trouble aiming his wet missile, and I was able to avoid the incredibly insulting embarrassment of having to wipe a stranger’s mucus from my face and body while lying on the filthy sidewalk. Once I was able to do so, I picked myself up and chased after the shirtless, exercising man who had so rudely clobbered and spat at me. I am generally not one to do such a thing, but I was so upset at the time that I felt compelled to catch up to the stranger to allow him the opportunity to beg my pardon. Of course, I planned to offer him my forgiveness once he had done so. After all, the collision may very well have been at least partially my fault. After a good deal of running, I reached the man. He had not slowed down, and I believe my sudden appearance by his side frightened him a bit. With a look of surprise and disgust, he stopped his jogging, removed the headphones from his ears, and slapped me across the face with incredible force. I stood there, bewildered, holding my quickly reddening cheek, as my eyes filled with tears. I asked the man why he had done this. I wiped the tears from my eyes, and with a trembling voice, told him that I would not stand for such treatment. I demanded that he apologize for his unacceptable behavior, for knocking me down, spitting toward me, and slapping my one and only face. It was then that he, with seemingly no effort, lifted me off of the ground, carried me across the street, and threw me into a large, marble fountain which sat in front of a towering municipal building. He once again spat at me, turned, and continued on his jog. I was dumbfounded. I sat in the fountain for some time until a security guard approached me, telling me that I would need to leave. I tried to explain what had happened, but he quickly stopped me and said that he had watched the entire scene unfold. I asked him why he hadn’t attempted to intercede, but he simply repeated that I must leave immediately unless I wished for him to contact law enforcement. With this, I stood and began my long, damp journey home. This awful incident stuck with me for quite some time. I would often wake up in the middle of the night, screaming, thrashing about, feeling as if I were being carried toward the fountain by the monstrous jogger. These nightmares continued for months. It wasn’t until nearly a year later that, by pure accident, I came upon Good Morning by Jusbox in a perfume seller’s shop. Upon removing the cap and smelling this redolent fragrance, I was transported. I was immediately reminded of the smell and feeling of sitting in the cool, clear fountain water on that fateful summer morning. It may seem counterintuitive to want to envelop one’s self in something that reminds one of such an awful time, but I felt that doing so might help conquer my incessant nightmares and flashbacks. I asked the shop’s owner if I might purchase a full bottle of this intriguing brew. She confirmed that there were several in stock. She left me and returned a moment later with the attractive bottle in hand. It was then that I remembered that I had been mugged at gunpoint just twenty minutes prior, and as such, I was then without my billfold. With great embarrassment, I apologized and left the shop empty handed. Even after I had replaced my bank cards and purse, I never did return to purchase the bottle of Good Morning by Jusbox. You see, the nightmares had stopped. It only took a single sniff to bring me back to that awful moment, and in doing so, vanquish the painful memory which had been haunting me. The odor was the cure, and for that, I am sincerely thankful.

What more beautiful music than that of nature? It gives tranquility, serenity and peace. Good Morning, more than a greeting, here is an emotional state, the happiness of waking up and seeing everything in front of you in a positive way, through slightly citrus and aquatic notes. The flowers help make it even more pleasant. I personally find serenity with softer fragrances, usually based on lavender and sandalwood, on me it has an invigorating, refreshing effect.

This fragrance smells like a man clean out of a shower, smelling fresh, clean and very pleasant. It’s not a perfume that feels special on me, it has more of a posh shower gel smell to it , on me, but the tangerine note is delightful and blends nicely with the aquatic note.

This is an excellent mandarin fragrance with a bit of a twist from the addition of sea notes and a bit of florals. I'm sure lots of fragrantica keyboard experts are going to say it's overpriced, and maybe it is. Nevertheless, it smells fantastic.

In the air I get an orangey citrus... when I try to smell the scent I get a denser driftwood candle smell, and when I get my nose directly on it... I get florals. Interesting fragrance... it's worth checking out.

Bad longevity and performance on my skin. 2 hours then poof, biggest waste of money on a fragrance this year. Enjoy :)
