Okay this fragrance took some time to fall in love with but now I’m almost concerned about the growing dent in my bottle lol. I’m usually a gourmand girly but I do like boozy scents so I figured this one would be a bit out of my lane but because if the boozy quality still something I’d like and at first.. omg the booze was overwhelming because all I could smell was authentic rum and it reminded me of a bad night with captain Morgan which made me queasy but after some time the notes of this fresh rose and juicy peach began to really come through and that’s when I began to fall in love. Within two weeks the fragrance became this fruity fresh rose with sexy booze tones lingering in the background giving it this edge. I’ve never smelled something so fruity and fresh be this boozy. The whole presentation that you get from Jusbox is a luxury experience from the design to the juice inside their fragrances. And I will say it now I know there’s a debate about best atomizers in the game and some think goldfield and banks has a good one which I do have silky woods and it’s nice but out of my entire collection no atomizer compares to Jusbox. They really nailed it it’s just so smooth and sprays out such a large blast of fine mist. It’s perfection just like the rest of the bottle. I wouldn’t recommend sampling this fragrance in a tiny decant because with how fragrances change over time I think tiny samples don’t do ANY fragrance justice because you’re not allowing yourself to experience the full scent story. Anything below a 5ml is pointless. 5ml is still small but doable. I suggest 8ml for samples or 10. Lune feline is a sample I hated but by the end of its use I actually found the beauty in the warm winter time fragrance.

Sirens & Sailors was a pleasant surprise. On the initial spray, I noticed the suede immediately, along with some patchouli that made me nervous. At first, I wasn’t sure if I was going to like it. However, after spending more time with it, the fragrance transformed into something much more beautiful. As it developed on my skin, the suede stepped back and a rich boozy rose jam accord emerged. The combination of peach, osmanthus, rose, and the liquor notes created the impression of rose preserves or a sweet fruit liqueur rather than a traditional rose perfume. The sweetness felt mature and sophisticated rather than sugary or juvenile. What impressed me most was how well blended the fragrance was. No single note dominated the composition, and it never became sharp, screechy, or headache-inducing. The patchouli remained in the background, adding depth without turning the fragrance dirty. My only disappointment was the suede. I was hoping for a more prominent suede fragrance, but after the opening it became difficult for me to detect as an individual note. It seemed to melt into the overall atmosphere rather than remain a distinct feature of the scent. Performance was moderate in my testing. One light spray on my inner elbow lasted only a few hours, though the fragrance felt much more satisfying when sprayed on my chest. Projection was not overwhelming and the scent stayed relatively close to the body. Overall, Sirens & Sailors turned out to be a beautiful boozy rose jam fragrance with a soft, feminine, grown-up character. While it didn’t satisfy my search for the perfect suede perfume, it was one of the more enjoyable fragrances I’ve tested recently and has earned a place on my wishlist.

This may be more femme to some, but I absolutely love the scent. The fruity rose opening is pretty loud that softens to a cloud on the skin. I would say the fruity rose lasts through the mid that seamlessly enhances with a boozy rum/Cognac accord that makes it naughty/sexy. The mid point makes it a bit more unisex in my opinion with the boozy accords. Although fruity, the boozy accords make it more dirty and inherently masculine in my eyes. The dry down still retains a floral sweetness but turned down, and mostly taken over by a vanilla musky cloud of sex. I believe the suede is just adding a bit of of that sexy touch that I find so seductive such as Amy Winehouse's smoky voice/demeanor. I believe this may be a bit overpriced but it lasts all day on skin with many provocative transitions on the skin to make it more interesting. The presentation has a nice aesthetic and I feel this scent is a perfect representation of Amy Winehouse soul/seductive music with a touch of sexy/dirty glamour. Overall a sexy scent, great for Spring and fall. but could be pulled off any time of year. I feel this is a type of scent that will smell different on each persons skin depending on chemistry and will overall smell different depending on season as well. RIP AMY WINEHOUSE, I loved your music and you will be missed.

After I read the rather unimpressed reviews for this fragrance, I was positively surprised by how good it smells. Guess I'm lucky to perceive it quite differently from the other reviewers! I generally don't like to put fragrances into specific age groups, but if I try to think of a typical teen scent or fragrances marketed to children, this is really not what comes to my mind. Not at all. Neither do I smell huge similarities to Mancera Roses Vanilla. I would categorize Siren & Sailors roughly into the same group as many intense/elixir/night versions of feminine designer perfumes, which is a good thing to me. The loudest notes are juicy peaches and bright pink roses drenched in syrup, but there's more to it. I really get the boozy whiskey and rum notes in the opening and the suede in the base. They give the fragrance substance while also being softened by the rose and peach, a dark vanilla, a little patchouli and balsamic notes. This is a sweet and feminine fragrance, but with some spiciness and warmth. Cozy and sexy at once. It makes me think of a sunset color scheme of pinks, red and oranges. I think this deserves more praise and I would recommend it to anyone who likes gourmandish roses. It might not be groundbreaking, but very, very well-done, smoothly blended and with a nice twist to it.

Fragrance dedicated to the iconic figure of Amy Winehouse. About her hypnotic voice, a gift from her, her sweet and tormented personality, which will mark her throughout her short life. An opening where I immediately feel the Rose, flanked by fruit and therefore sweet, very pleasant. Her boozy and slightly leathery notes then give her that hidden aspect of Amy's personality, which she suffered so much. A fragrance that I really like and ended up on my wishlist, truly wonderful, beautiful and delicate like a rose, but surrounded by thorns. I want to quote the words of one of the most beautiful songs in my opinion by this artist, "Stronger than me", with a heart full of gratitude for having given us, even if for a short time, the beauty of her voice and her music. “You should be stronger than me You have been here seven years longer than me Don't you know? You were supposed to be the man Not pale in comparison to who you think I am You always wanna talk it through I don't care I always have to comfort you when I'm there You should be stronger than me But that's what I need you to do Stroke my hair”

I'm not sure where people are getting the sickly sweet smell in this. There are hints of peach and vanilla but they are vastly overpowered by the rose, whiskey and rum. I sense amber in here but it's not listed as an ingredient. Actually if they added in more amber that would be fabulous. Otherwise, I love this scent. It's currently my favourite fragrance and in my mind worth the price tag for a bottle. If you buy direct from Jusbox Italy they also send you about five samples of other perfumes in their collection. They sent me an extra travel size bottle of Sirens too. This definitely does not smell like something you would have a little girl wearing! :) There is far too much alcohol and smoke in it. I feel sexy in this and so far this is the perfume that gets me the most compliments. The compliments aren't even on the perfume always but men randomly tell me I'm beautiful. I was told I reminded a man of Alanis Morrisette. I don't mind that comparison at all. If you want to exude an elegant yet edgy femininity I cannot recommend this enough.

Possibly my favourite fragrance currently. Whiskey soaked rose petals, peach, rum, vanilla, citrus and sugar. Syrupy sweet, maybe slightly cloy but pleasantly so and with subtle and clever sour contrasting notes. The rose is jammy and particularly more sweet and pleasant than most rose fragrances but the longevity isn't good. Probably too sweet and feminine for most men but I'm totally mesmerised by it and don't care despite usually prefering masculine fragrances. Can’t smell it on skin or fabric after an hour or two and have to reapply frequently. I only wear it occasionally but I've almost finished my second bottle and multiple testers now due to constant reapplications. But it’s such a beautiful unique fragrance, I want to smell it as often as possible. I love it but the performance is just very disappointing and it's pretty expensive too.

For me the opening is like Delina went out drinking. I like the boozy twist to the scent with just a touch of leather and the patchouli is done very well here, not skanky at all. I would describe the scent as classy but, dark and punchy as well. I like it. This is just my first impression. Will update as i get to know her more. I really like this. To further add on to my comparisons to delina, lets say delina is like when Rose from titanic is having dinner with Jack in the fancy dining hall. Shes sophisticated, shes proper, shes cultured and has all the finest things her life is lacking spontaneity. Siren and Sailors however, is when Jack takes Rose to the party in the lower part of the ship. Theses lively music and dancing, people are arm wrestling and spilling drinks. Its a tarty rose with a different vibe. Im really liking it.

I got a couple of things in the mail today, Gris Dior now that the 40ml has finally showed up on the Aus site, and a Jusbox sample set. The Dior is as expected, classy, timeless, softly and sweetly rosey, speaking of the chypre decades, beautiful. But this Sirens and Sailors is blowing my socks off. Opens with a white sugar bubblegummy peony-ish rose quickly joined by a boozy and slightly leathery darkness. The cristalline feel persists. Beautiful throw. I can see the comparisons with Roses Vanille which has a similar white sugar rose but goes in a more herbal slightly spiced direction plus a more oriental vanilla base. I’ve been on a sampling binge craving something ‘different’. This happens to me every couple of years 🙄. I’ve been through 10ml of Baccarat R trying to see the magic in it and failing. Suddenly, Magic has arrived.

An intoxicating, deep, dark rose surrounded by peaches and osmanthus, all dipped into booze: rum and whiskey. I adore this scent, I think it’s my favourite Jusbox scent (from the ones I tested so far from the discovery set) and I am not into rose centric fragrances at this point in my life. But the way that rose and the fruits are blended with the alcoholic notes, patchouli and vanilla does something to my soul... I can understand that it’s a basic scent DNA that’s been done before but Siren&Sailors it’s the elevated version of the genre. It goes straight on my to buy list! It’s impressive as performance as well, strong and long lasting scent. Perfect going out scent!

I got the discovery set and this was one of the first I tried. I hadn't looked into the note profile so from the name alone I assumed it was going to be an aquatic scent so you can imagine my surprise when it was anything but. I'm not usually a big fan of rose frags but this one is gorgeous. It reminds me of christian louboutin fétiche la rose or Very good girl elixer. It has that deep jammy rose that feels luxurious and addictive. I do love it, and I would be online searching out a full bottle if it had any longevity at all. Alas, like most of the Jusbox scents I have tried, this one has clocked out by noon. Definitely not worth the price.

I actually like this! I avoid alcohol and tobacco scents like the plague, but this one isn't too boozy for me, even. This brand does use these kinds of notes often. I enjoy marijuana, opium, and benzoin notes, but the alcohol and tobacco? It's like, why would I wanna smell like that? I enjoy the smell of burning tobacco, but just raw tobacco is the worst idea for me in any form. So maybe I'm warming up to alcoholic smells? No, l think it's just too faint to bother me. What l do smell that isn't listed is oud.

Is it the most original rose fragrance? No. Do I love it nonetheless? Absolutely. I am not a typical rose lover; this is probably the only rose-first fragrance I own. I like booze, patchouli/ suede base, and bergamot. So this is the rose done right up my alley, ultimate date night perfume. Peach and rum give it a fruity, youthful opening, while whiskey, patchouli, brtgamot make it more mature, especially on the drydown. Underrated gem imho

Opening is like a sharper Baraonda with more forward wiskey note and a fresh rose (to me Baraonda comes off more smooth and musk and amberette forward) As it dries the whiskey is less prominent but stays as a background note, however it is more of an alcohol smell opposed to the smooth aroma you usually get in a high quality whiskey The rose stays very fresh and vibrant, just a hint fruity and sweet

Sexy, sweet, boozy rose perfume. I get loads of rose, rum and vanilla, with a bit of suede and musk in the dry-down. Apparently this is inspired by Amy Winehouse and I think that’s spot on - it’s got an old-school femininity from the rose, but then a dark, dirty edge from the booze. It’s sweet but I wouldn’t say young; maybe suits a woman in their 20s or 30s. Best for nighttime.

Drunken rose. Amouage flair. Intoxicating sillage. Bold but not overbearing. Love. What it is: Jammy rose, peach schnapps and rum. Niche, unique, polarizing. What it isn’t: Delox, Roses Vanille, Intense Cafe. Basic, repetitive, crowd pleasing. I didn’t know my collection was missing a boozy rose until I smelled this. I’m not missing a boozy rose anymore🖤

This is such a fun scent, perfect to wear when you are having or hoping to have a good time. I get mostly peach and boozy notes here, with some rose. There is less rose than I had expected, though. It’s all very sweet and syrupy and reminds me of no other perfume. It was love at first sniff for me.

Sweet and boozy, with a messy vibe. After it begins to settle, there is a void. Something feels empty or hollow. Not sure about the dry down yet. Best fragrance in the collection, to my nose but I don't love it.

I love this one. Strong rose, but mixed with liquor, vanilla, and musk; it's sweet, but strong and perfect for spring. Definitely a good tribute to Amy Winehouse.
