Sisters B4 Misters

Don't know and don't care that people might disagree with my opinion of Jusbox Sisters B4 Misters being the best strawberry release this year. I had the pleasure of trying the only travel the fragrance store had and placed my pre-order for me and my sister (spring birthdays) for when it arrives. It's so fun, so summer, and so girlhood all the way! I think they nailed the Spice Girls inspo and hope this helps since the trolls got here first to vote lol. Definitely not a plastic banana to me, and the strawberry isn't synthetic or like a doll-head. Instead, it smells like a burst of sweet strawberry banana gogurt from the opening. If anyone remembers that, strawberry banana was one of their popular scent. This is how the milk note translates, not in a sour or densely lactonic way, but in a yogurt-on-the-go way lol. It's gogurt brightened by a sweet lime in the opening and maybe the tiniest pinch of zingy ginger but not really. More so the lime. Update: From opening to dry down, this has the same molecular amber musk that's in Carioca Heart, so keep that in mind. It was too sharp and much for me in Carioca Heart but I like it in here. It's more calm and balances the sweetness. Also exact musk in Ella K Orchid K like someone mentioned, so tread lightly if you don't care for those molecular musks. The scent ultimately dries down on me to a strawberry-lime smoothie with lots of woody sandalwood. On paper there's more of a soapy feel, probably from the LOTV, and powdery tartness added that I still wouldn't mind in the heat. I love the smell on my skin better though. The notes don't seem unique, but it's fun and I still can't name a similar fragrance. The projection does close in after 2-3 hours but it isn't intimate and I think longevity is up there at the 5-8 hour range for me. This blooms on the skin when it's warm and really humid outside, without being cloying although sweet, because of that musk not for the cold. I'm surprised more brands haven't explored strawberry banana and also strawberry kiwi since those are popular flavor combinations, instead of just strawberry milk.

This is a lovely niche quality banana-fruit floral-gourmand. I get a fragrant airy creamy banana. The strawberry, lime, and blackcurrant are all taking a backseat to the banana here - but are just adding a different fruity nuance than straight-banana. I probably get blackcurrant the most of them though. Lily of the valley makes sense for the floral notes as it's lighter-feeling and doesn't take over but is still present and gives this just a little bit more of a "real perfume" smell than your typical banana gourmand - but without going into "perfumey" territory. A dash of ginger to add interest without making it too ginger-heavy or spicy. And orris and milk giving it the airy & slightly creamy quality. Doesn't really read "lactonic" - no sour milk. I'm a banana 🍌 hound - love banana notes in perfumes. And this has to be one the best banana fragrances I've tried. More unique than the "Reminds Me" section - nothing really compares. Well balanced with the slight zest from lime & ginger and the creaminess of orris and milk. Sandalwood helps ground but isn't as strong as the listed accords above may indicate. Not for those who want a straight foodie gourmand, but for those who want an elevated banana experience without going off the deep end.

The first time I heard about this fragrance I was so confused - a Spice Girls inspired fragrance...now?? Why? It seemed so random 😅 But the notes had me intrigued- banana and strawberry?! Yes please! So, I had to order a sample, and— it was pure, immediate L-O-V-E. This is like if you went to breakfast at a super trendy cafe with your favorite sister and ordered banana pancakes topped with strawberries while chewing bubblegum and having a good laugh. When the pancakes arrive the banana-pudding like aroma blends with the bubblegum and the maple syrup (I do get just the tiniest hint of maple syrup in the beginning of this) you drizzle over the strawberries on top of the pancakes. It sounds painfully saccharine but the sandalwood and lactonic notes keep the sweetness perfectly balanced. This is a FUN perfume that immediately puts you in a good mood. How ever the Spice Girls came to inspire this fragrance- I don’t even care because it’s simply great and impossible to be in a bad mood while wearing Sisters B4 Misters! 🙌 I’m onboard for this one!!

Just got a sample from Twisted Lily, and WOW! This is a sugar bomb. I'm very much reminded of Burberry Her Elixir and Kayali Yum Boujee Marshmallow which isn't too surprising given the very similar notes they share. They all include strawberry, and amber or ambroxan. They all have a creamy / milky note whether its vanilla & sandalwood or actual milk, whipped cream or marshmallow. It is very much strawberry, sweet, and lactonic with that slightly plastic quality that I get from Burberry Her Elixir. I was relieved that it did calm down a bit in the dry down. It kept the fruity sweetness, but was less intense. It did not disappoint, and I'm considering picking up a full bottle even though I already have both Kayali Yum Boujee Marshmallow and VAnilla Candy Rock Sugar. I'm even tempted to give the Burberry Her Elixir another chance.

Just came today. I like it, it’s cute. I get the strawberry but it smells nothing like yum bougie marshmallow or vanilla candy rock sugar...nothing at all. I’m not upset at this blind buy at all. Update: when this first came, I thought ...this is cute. I sprayed it and let it sit for like 2 weeks and it’s like the smell morphed in to something creamy and delicious! I smell more of the other notes besides strawberry and to me, there’s a lactonic component. Give it a try! 😍

I love this. Received my sample and instantly bought the full bottle. I don't pick up on any of the top notes listed here. The top notes remind me of a sweet cake vibe, followed by a fruity, vanilla musky dry down. I sprayed this at 7am and its currently 3pm and i can still really smell it, especially on my clothes. I dont get why this is getting so much hate, its gorgeous!!

Yummy fun playful fruity juicy milky banana milk! VERY similar to Marc Jacobs Daisy Wild Eau So Extra. They can be cousins. Something about this takes me back to my childhood, but still I wouldn’t say it’s juvenile. This is fun! Miami Shake by JulietteHAG should smell like this

I'm usually not a fan of sweet fruity perfumes but this one had in me in a chokehold at first sniff. Something about the strawberry doll head scent was nostalgic and fun! This has been on repeat in the summer months and I get compliments when wearing.

this smells like a very sweet candy and i love it! i can clearly smell the banana, strawberry and a bit of lime at the opening i do really like this but i can’t really imagine it being wearable

Opening is very synthetic with black currant and lime, but the dry down... let me tell how good the banana is, very ripe, cozy even, it feels like being wrapped up in a quite seductive smoothie

Smells like strawberry cereal with pieces of ripe banana floating around and the milk has started to warm a bit. I LOVE it!

I really like how it smells. I am pleasantly surprised. I dont know what else to say.

The opening smells like waking up the morning after a girls night sleepover where you all had cupcakes and painted each other‘s nails, and someone spilled a bottle of nail polish remover onto a stale, half eaten cupcake. The dry down of this fragrance smells like the house after you all have cleaned it up, and cleaned yourselves, have fully gotten ready, and everyone now has on their girls brunch scent of the day. Thankfully the opening will be gone by the time you get from your vanity to your car, because the rest of this scent is so girly, fun and pleasant. Reimagine Angel Nova in pastel powder pink, and that’s what I get for the majority of the wear. Note wise, nothing stands out. I get fun girly fruits and a lively musk. I don’t get milk, creaminess, or sandalwood. Literally, fun fruity musky femininity. I like this way more than I thought I would.

strawberry-banana-milk accord-sugar, but not pure gourmand - this perfume hits all the new fads and fashions and includes all the trendy notes... it's well made and clearly niche quality though I get the exotic fruits and berries although I couldn't tell it's strawberry specifically it's sweet powdery a bit girly, but again, not synthetic or cheap smelling, very good quality I am now on a hunt for my perfect strawberry or wild strawberry, but I'd like something more photorealistic and less sugary. This is a very decent entry in the contest though

This reminds me something from my childhood, some candy that I can’ remember the name of. I get no cake or cake icing like some reviewers do. The most prominent notes for me are banana and strawberry, very pleasant and not chemical, maybe some nondescript tropical flowers in the background too. Overall, it’s a very girly scent done very well.

Cute, playful, girly, strong. The type of fragrance that makes you smile and remember 2000's girl band times. More of an adolescent trendy girl scent. But definitely way overpriced and I will for sure not purchase again.

This one is SO bananas!! Seriously, the banana hits you immediately. Then the strawberry, and then the lime. The dry down is milk-like and smells like being a teen girl in the 90s

No tuberose among the notes? Perhaps it is a comboyof lily of the valley and the other notes, as it smells like a classical sweet tuberose bomb, almost headache inducing. And indeed it is sisters (floral/sweet tuberose like scent) for first two hours or so, and them misters (intense authentic sandalwood, still pretty sweet though).

Banana & strawberry ~bubble gum ~strawberry milkshake ~Marc Jacobs Perfect Intense. Fruity but not fresh-fruity, rather warm and welcoming.

Sisters B4 Misters started out with some promise but ultimately wasn’t for me. On the opening, I immediately noticed the lily of the valley, which came across much stronger than I expected. Combined with the fruity notes, amber, and sandalwood, the fragrance initially gave me a body spray-like impression. Thankfully, the lily of the valley softened over time, allowing the banana and strawberry notes to become more noticeable. I was pleasantly surprised that I could actually smell the banana, especially after my disappointing experience with other banana-themed fragrances where the banana never appeared at all. The banana, strawberry, and sandalwood created a soft, sweet fruity accord that was enjoyable enough and never became sharp, heavy, or headache-inducing. Unfortunately, the fragrance never really evolved beyond that. I kept waiting for the sweet milk note, the orris, or some additional depth to emerge, but the scent remained fairly linear throughout the wear. While pleasant, it lacked the complexity and atmosphere I look for in a fragrance. What ultimately held it back for me was a persistent body spray quality. The combination of lily of the valley, amber, sandalwood, and fruit created an impression that felt youthful and inexpensive rather than refined. It reminded me more of a fruity body mist than a niche perfume, and despite being easy to wear, it never felt distinctive or memorable. This isn’t a bad fragrance. It’s soft, approachable, and likely appealing to someone who enjoys sweet fruity florals. However, for me, it lacked sophistication and didn’t offer enough development to justify a full bottle. A pleasant scent, but one that felt more like a body spray than a perfume.
