Tobacco Leaf

Yes, you get tobacco leaf. It reminds my of my granddad's rolling tobacco. The Le Labo tobacco reminds my of wet dog ends. This is the tobacco I've been looking for. There's vanilla too and something medicinal - maybe it's the cloves others mention which are definitely there - the note reminds me of a clove liqueur more than the dried spice; but maybe there's something else with it that makes it smell like the plaster aisle in a pharmacy. This lasts really well - not just for the money but for any money. Are there multiple layers of subtlety and depth? No. Is it a one note perfume? No. Do I really enjoy wearing it? Yes. Is it good value for money? YES YES YES YES YES!

I love this! I have never tried TF tobacco vanille, so I can't compare them. I have the smaller (30ml?) bottle, and it's a bit meh-looking imo, but it's fine. Sweet tobacco, cinnamon and vanilla are the notes that I get the most. To me this is unisex, not leaning eather way. Suuuper strong also! Lasted like little over a week on my scarf that I wore out with this and I didn't even spray it directly on it, only on my neck :D Edit: after having it for some while now, I'm getting a strong clove note. Still very much like it and it still has all the other good stuff, but the clove might be too much for some.

Hear me out. This smells EXACTLY like those cinnamon pinecones you buy in a bag around the holidays. Tobacco leaf is an extremely strong cinnamon synthetic-smelling fragrance that I absolutely love and undeniably has similarities to tobacco vanille. I would consider Tobacco Leaf a twist on tobacco vanille so if you want the closest thing to it look elsewhere but this will get you close. If you love cinnamon like me there's a high chance you'll like this too. It smells good, it's cheap and it's strong.

I've recived new bottle- now it looks a lot better- rectangular, black, matte with texture on the sides and a changed cap - also black, cylindrical with texture around The juice- for that low price is just awsome! Smells very close to Tobacco Vanille, opening is a little bit different- for me it smells quite alcoholic like mulled wine. After that phase it smells really close to TV but less sweet and more powdery. Longevity and projection? CRAZY

Sorry, I refuse to pay Tom Ford prices (I wish I could afford them). I love a good Tobacco note, it's one of my favourite notes in perfumes. For me, this has a potent and really nice Tobacco note. Excellent performance all round. It's very like the gorgeous Aramis Tobacco Reserve (now that IS a complement) and it lasts just as long. Like all Just Jacks it is amazing value. Love it love it.

I love it. I get at least 4-5 hours of strong projection and the smell stays for around 7-8 hours, smells like chocolate vanilla cake. The tobacco isnt extremely noticeable but it is there. The smell is the same for the whole duration of the smell. It projects just fine so go for 4-5 for school, and maybe 6-7 when going out. Very good budget smell for students!

I'm hooked on Tobacco leaf! It's perfect for autumn and winter. It's spicy with a strong clove note but also quite sweet thanks to the vanilla. It lasts great on clothes and skin! I've had many compliments by my family, friends and coworkers, though some might find it a bit strong. It's a lovely perfume for the price, I recommend it ☺️

I actually prefer this to TV and all its other clones - a lot less sweet, a lot less vanillic. This smells like opening a fresh packet of cigarettes (as far as I can remember having quit smoking 20 years ago). Richer and darker than other TV clones, and a lot less cloying.

Very strong and long lasting and almost the same as Tobacco Touch, which is also a clone. This one is cheaper and a little less spicy. I think I like this a bit more because the vanilla is more present. For the price you can’t beat this fragrance.

Get this, forget it on your shelf for a couple of years and voila'! Tobacco leaf flavored with some cloves and sweet, clear caramel. Simple but delicious. Top this with some cherry and you'll be rushing to buy a spare bottle, so nice!

Opening a bit fresh...fruty tobbaco, drydown like TF TV...80% For this price is hard to go wrong... Very nice

After sampling Tom Ford Tobacco Vanile a few times, I was intrigued by the idea of wearing it in cold weather, especially during the holiday season. However, given that we don't get long or particularly cold winters where I live and I ain't super keen on splashing so much cash on one single fragrance, I was interested in Al Haramain Amber Oud Tobacco Edition instead, which was out of stock at local vendors. However, a local discounter in another city suggested I give Just Jack Tobacco Leaf a go, which they had on sale for €15 incl. delivery. The stakes were super low, so I blind-bought it. I didn't have high expectations, but was very pleasantly surprised. To my amateur nose, it is a slightly less nuanced version of TV, a tad sweeter in the opening with a bit more dried fruit and less tobacco, but it gets close enough after an hour or so as it dries down and it becomes a bit more tobacco-forward. I get a pleasant amount of clove and faint cacao hints throughout its duration. I cannot compare it to Amber Oud Tobacco Edition, which I never tried, but I find it to be 85% close to TV. Similar to TV, I consider it masculine, strictly for colder weather and better suited for an evening out, either casual or formal. Definitely not an everyday/office scent. Go light on the sprays, especially if you'll be close to people indoors! It is loud & nuclear, just like TV, with eternal longevity. 1-2 sprays for indoors or 2-3 sprays for outdoors. I can still smell it on my skin the morning after and, oddly enough, I can smell it on me for a relatively long time without going noseblind. I reckon it is a great buy to test the waters, either before pulling the trigger on the original or a more expensive (and possibly even better?) clone.

A very very nice simple tobacco forward linear fragrance which I am liking, even though I am not particularly a fan of this DNA because of the heavy clove accord. This one however is tonned down on the same and makes it a lot more pleasant for me. Maybe this is why it differs a little from TV? Not entirely sure as I haven't tried TV recently to compare. I do not really get any cacao and tonka, its the dry tobacco and clove accords up front backed with vanilla and spice. Performs well as it lasted for 6-7 hours on my skin on the first test with good projection for the first couple hours. I have the newer bottle (which is edgy and more rectangular) so I have kept it for macertation which I am hoping will make the vanilla pop out more (as i like) and help the performance too. Good simple but elegant presentation as well. Overall, this is the only TV take I have liked so far, for €15 that I spent on this for 100ml is totally worth it and I hope it gets better with time. If you want something along the lines of this DNA to try it, I reckon this is your best bet.

I have three from the Just Jack line, and I am pretty happy with each one. This is a nice tobacco, vanilla scent. It’s not super sweet, the tobacco being the main player. This scent does come across a bit scratchy, and when I spray this on I go into a sneezing fit every time, painful. After that and it settles, I find it very nice. If you like the smell of pipe tobacco leaf I think this has nailed that down pretty good. I certainly can see why the suggestion of Mercedes Club Black layered with this makes sense. All in all this is not bad for the price. There are definitely nicer takes of the Tobacco Vanille profile, but this is a fair introduction. As an alternative, if you have not tried tobacco scents, I would recommend CK Shock as a more interesting option to this. Also note, I agree that this has a little more in common with Aramis Tobacco Reserve, the tobacco leaf leans more natural, this just has more sweetness in the mix.

First impression felt on Monday 19 June 2023, The opening is made on a pipe tobacco, round and warm, a light vanilla and slightly caramelized. Finally, notes of spices are invited. I detect cinnamon, a clove that is not imposing, and of course vanilla, of course! The fragrance is rounded off by dried fruits and cocoa, without being overpowering! Strange, I feel like I smell a good four-spice cake!? Christmas! The tonka bean is used to create a rhythm with this tobacco, which is rather greedy and generous, offering a beautiful intensity. However, I do not detect any woody notes? It is not complex, though, and a little common, perhaps?! But pleasant, intoxicating and comforting in cold seasons. A moderate wake as well as its hold. Which is not bad for an eau de parfum with such olfactory notes. It is not inconvenient! A very comfortable price for less than 20 £ per 100 ml! It is still a stunning discovery.

Vanille Tobacco This clone possesses a similar vibe and some depth of the Tobacco Vanille. It hits all the right buttons. Tobacco Leaf opens with a strong moist tobacco note followed by fruits and honey accords. The vanilla is mashed with Tonka bean to give a pastry-like undertones. I wore it often during this holiday season, and it was perfectly cozy during the holidays. The composition is mostly linear, and do not change much during the life of the fragrance. Performance is all right on my skin – longevity around 8 hours with moderate projection. Overall, a nice take on tobacco theme with similar vibe to Tobacco Vanille. More on Scentimentalwords

This one took forever to balance. First period it was all spices, a bit tobacco and no vanilla. Now, after more than a year, it is a nice mix between the three. Makes it a lot more wearable. I have the newer version of the old 50ml bottles. Too bad these aren't sold anymore. For €10 you had a sort of supersized decant.

This is a real beast. Eternal longevity over 12 hours on my skin. Is it close to TV? Yes it's close enough. If you want 100% Tobacco Vanille you have to buy Tobacco Vanille it's so simple but for 13€ you can't go wrong with this one.

I never smelled the Tom Ford TV but this is a nice spicy tobacco fragrance, the spices are very mellow and the fragrance overall is unisex. Great for colder climates, during winter this works also perfectly daytime.

It is nice, but so far not so close to TF Tobacco Vanille. It could be a new bottle, I will see after a month of maceration

I don't have and I've never tried TF TV. Tobacco Leaf the opening is loud, and my very first sprays were a bit confusing; I got a medicinal vibe, but it vanished fast. Opening, It takes up to 30 minutes for a light, sweet, not cloying vanilla and tobacco, tobacco is the most prominent note obviously. I don't get any 'general spices,' but I do notice a specific one—cloves, a lot of them. It's not unbearable, but very prominent, with some faint cumin note. Sadly, not an inch of cinnamon coming out on my skin. Then comes the dry down, lasting maybe 3 to 4 hours. Cloves are set at the back. I notice a faint fruity sweetness, maybe date...?!? Vanilla and tobacco are still present. The dry down is more woody tobacco, faint dark chocolate with less vanilla and less sweetness. This fragrance will last 24 hours or more on clothes.

I didn't really enjoy the tobacco in this, compared to Tobacco Vanille, the tobacco in this smells way dirtier. And also, I dont know if I just got a bad bottle, but the fragrance only lasted for a few hours on me even with 2 months of maceration. But for the price I can totally understand how it got a little bit of hype.

I don't like this. I have another clone of Tobacco Vanille and that one is very pleasant, this one is very clove and tobacco forward, I can't smell much vanilla or cinnamon, the cacao in here makes the fragrance really weird. Lasts long but sits super close to the skin, just like my other Just Jack fragrances. Wouldn't recommend.

More spicy than I would like. I had hoped the vanilla would stand out more but it doesn't. Tobacco and spices are prominent. The opening can be a slightly harsh bit the dry down softens the spice and harshness. Overall fairly linear.

Powdery vanilla with hardly any tobacco, despite the reference to Tobacco Vanille by TF this is off by a mile. It's not a bad scent, but don't buy it expecting this to be a replacement for TV.

It's so suffocating that it made me nauseous, it's both too sweet and too bitter.

i’ll let it mancerate for a bit but right now it smells horrid smells exactly like play doh update : i let it mancerate for a bit and it smells wearable now at the very least now it smells like this powdery vanillic tobacco it lasts for about 6-7 hours or so projection is not bad for a cheapie like this it just lacks depth to it thats all

After my failed couple of suggestions to add it to the review list-Finally, Just Jack perfumes-clones of successful fragrances have found a place to be described and discussed here on Fragnatica! -The company itself has existed since 2015! It is a family mini-business (two sisters) and in addition to Just Jack, they also made Jenny Glow fragrances! Today, they belong to the Sterling campaign (Armaf, Flavia, Jenny G.) and are apparently barely "publicly known" enough for the general public, even though they have been selling on Notinot for quite a few years! The fragrance itself is 3/4 identical to its Dna original (Tom Ford-Tobacco Vanilla) and does not hide the similarity in any way! They are successful in this, because in most cases their perfumes smell of sufficient quality and for the majority of the uninitiated, they are "the same". Maybe it goes in its own direction in the middle - it's never too sweet or gourmand, which confuses some people with the original! I am aware that some people do not have a couple of €100 worth of originals to buy every month, or they are a good "replacement" when the original is on reserve or in safe mode! For this money, I think they are real hidden gems - they cost little enough that for €100 you can get ten of their best 100ml fragrances! Try it - it's not a sin! :)

I've never smelled Tobacco Vanille but compare to other popular clones of that frag such as Amber Oud Tobacco Edition or Maison Alhambra Tobacco Touch or even Zara Warm Black, this is the only one that doesn't turn full band-aid smell on me. This one smells the most leafy too, true to its name.

Honestly, the only difference I can find between this and the original TF Tobacco Vanille is the smoothness, and I don't mind. The combination of notes is incredible. Saying this is more bang-for-buck than Tobacco Vanille is an understatement, the best clone I own for sure!

This is a really good lovely perfume. Great accords and notes.
