I know that there are hundreds of oud-rose perfumes in the market (if not thousands) but I found this one stands out particularly thanks to the guaiac wood in there, which gives this legendary eastern oud + true taif rose combination a genuine campfire effect (not smoke but actually burning wood) ,and together with earthy metallic aspects of vetiver , it becomes literally desert rose oud for me, because the metallic aspexts of vetiver makes me think of silica chrytsals in desert sand, and its earthy facades remind me of the small grained actual desert sand itself melting under pitiless desert sun. When I spray it on, I imagine my self in a huge egg yolk yellow dress, spreading the petals of equally yellow roses in the sahara wind during sunset, smelling all the scorched sands and dried leaves and sun drenched shreds of agar wood, giving their last breath away under excruiciating heat of merciless desert sun, and finally towards the sunset they a find piece with the soothing breeze of welcoming desert evening, represented by this heavenly rose absolute in my imagination. I truely adore this master work.

Christian carbonnel is known for his naughty, dirty, bold, mysterious approach to fragrances and that is what makes him so special, This fragrance is not for people who are new to this hobby, This is for a trained individual who is looking for something completely different, something unique, the perfume behaves differently every day, on some occasions this pearl can be very dirty and very Animalic and powdery, this fragrance is just like a rose that blooms open, it has many layers and many facets, if I have to describe this fragrance.... it is very dense, very thick, very sticky, powdery/slightly metallic, animalic with a soft vanilla touch in the background, this scent has 1 thing that is very special, if it is smelled outside in the open air, no one will be able to surpass you, this is a compliment magnet! if you are an individual who is self-confident, and if you are someone who likes to stand out above everyone else? then you are definitely the most special in the room. For me the first 1 and a half hours smells like pure farm, I found it kind of animalic then the oud and roses start hitting more and become protagonist of it smelling way better, a lot of people won't like this but when your nose is finally understanding it, it becomes kind of addictive

A must try from the house of Kajal. A beautiful concoction of Rose and Sandalwood. Sandalwood vibe is very soothing and stays on skin for quite a while. The perfume leaves beautiful trail in the air and has good longevity. Overall all a must try for all rose or sandalwood lovers ❤️

For me Alujain is absolutely seductive unisex scent, so rich, deep and very enjoyable to wear. Projection and longevity also is very good, on my skin it lasts more than 12 hours even after a shower. So, if you want to feel the oriental authenticity with deep rosy, ambery, woody notes - try this gorgeous scent and sure you will never regret the thing you have done ♥ in sha Allah. A strong performer in the rose/oud category. A sweet vanilla and flamboyant rose is in the mix, with an albeit good but slightly funky AOUD accord. She’s a little rough around the edges, but doable. Alujain is a fairly standard take on a typical rose-oud fragrance. The rose dominates the scent quite strongly, it’s there from the get go and seems to linger for the duration of the scent’s life. This rose comes across quite synthetic and jammy, it smells nice but not very natural unfortunately. The next thing you notice is the oud. This does come across rather synthetic and doesn’t seem like the highest quality oud accord either, but has a subtle fecal character about it perhaps to seem more like the real thing somehow. All of this is backed up by generic sweet, creamy woodiness and musk. Alujain is a pleasant fragrance but I’m not overly impressed by it. This isn’t a scent that you will remember or be amazed by, it smells good but that’s all it does. Little to no depth to it unfortunately.

This is a mix of beautiful and very nasty notes 50/50. I get beautiful rose, nice geranium and amber mixed with very nasty orris and bad musk. There's a bad smell of ammoniac oxides, something like smelly urine mixed with florals.. not for me. This nasty vibe fades out with time (about an hour) but I don't want to wait until it becomes safe and wearable in public. Performance is good, long lasting with moderate sillage. For mild weather, spring, fall and cool summer evenings. Totally unisex. Update At the late dry down it feels close to Naso di Raza Cher Tetu

یه ترکیب شرقی اما نچسب شروع ای کاملا اغراق آمیز از یک رُز شیرین و شربت گون و البته حرمی که با یک خروار چوب صندل و وانیل شیرین ترکیب شده و یک وایب چوبی و البته دارویی متصاعد از عود رو هم بهش اضافه کنید وجوه رزی به مرور کم رنگ میشه وعطر شیرین تر هم میشه که این مسیر با افزایش وجه پودری همراهه تنها نکته‌ی مثبت عطر؛کم شدن اون حالت دارویی و بی کیفیت رز هست انگار دوست داره اَدای یک عطر موقر شرقی رو دربیاره اما ابدا موفق نبوده و فقط روی صفحه قشنگه و در عمل زشت ************** scent:4/10 longevity:9/10 sillage:8.5/10 purchase value:1/10 ******* overall:5.6/10

Quite dangerous, because of the oriental acidity, a bit disgusting because of that. Not wearable.

Would agree with previous comment by Graf, the acidic animalic scent is quite unpleasant in this perfume... For me, rose notes appear at least after 30minutes, and all I get is a mix of oudy rose.. The dry-down is mellow, sweet floral vanilla.. But the wait for me -until that acidic urine wood scent disappeared- was a good few hours...(just a bit too long for my liking). Maybe on a man's skin it would act differently..

A wonderful Oud rose combination with an oriental vibe. This fragrance isn’t dark, but strong and sprightly, it certainly stands out on whoever wears it. In the top notes I feel something that makes it much fresher than other fragrances that have this combination, it's not something conventional. Suitable for a determined and sensual woman, but also for an elegant and charming man. Very good projection and trail.

Xerjoff more than words repackaged, the same perfumer i think :(
