Kajal Homme II

Just got this in and have been wearing it all day. So what does it smell like... on first spray I immediately thought of Roja Dove Reckless Pour Homme, and after just looking up the notes I see they share quite a few of the same. Followed by the OG. Kajal Pour Homme 2 retains the dark woody base and DNA of the original but adds more of a fougere touch to it and I think it smells amazing. It has a bright, energetic opening, slightly soapy, and almost has a shave foam feel to it because of the smooth lavender, cedar wood, sandalwood, and oak moss. There is a slight talcum powder vibe and it’s very aromatic with it’s lemon, clary sage, rosemary and orange blossom. The cinnamon and clove give a nice spicy kick and the mandarin orange and peach are mouthwatering. The green notes are most prominent in the opening but have pretty much remained throughout the wearing. I cannot wait to give this some more wearings. This is a style fragrance I love and because of its depth, there’s still much to be explored and it’s quite dynamic. It’s almost like there’s two fragrances in one here... a dichotomy. You have the warm, dark, amber and woods from the original, but with all of these bright citruses, herbs and spices of an aromatic fougere, all tied together with that sweet mandarin orange... it’s awesome. This is very well composed and made with high quality ingredients. I think it has a nice balance of synthetics and naturals and is very easy to wear. Just as the original, anytime, anywhere, but even more so since I think this can be pulled off easier in the summer. Definitely summer nights. As mentioned, this reminds me of the original, as well as Roja Reckless, but a bit more playful. I also find it somewhat similar to Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme, MFK Amyris Homme Extrait, and quite a lot of Nishane B-612 and Dior Sauvage Parfum. I would go as far as to say if you like Versace Eros (especially Eros Flame), Guerlain l’homme Ideal cologne, John Varvatos Vintage, Coach Platinum, Parfum de Marly Percival, Creed Viking, Tom Ford Beau De Jour, Roja Scandal, etc. you’ll like this. A very much welcomed addition to my collection. This makes me happy. Well done, Kajal!

Peyoteugly is spot on in terms of it's projection and longevity. I feel like I get olfactory fatigue very quickly with this while other's seem to pick up hours later. This is a beautiful fragrance that starts off with an earthy citrus that evolves into this semi sweet, earthy smell that just pulls you in. This is feels very rounded, and polished while still retaining its masculine qualities. It certainly could be used for dates - especially first dates - but it feels better served in nearly every other occasion. It's a dumb, masculine reach that exudes confidence and will be a fantastic contender for those looking to move passed Aventus as your mass appealing, high-quality signature scent. To be clear, this smells nothing like Aventus, but I feel like it would work in your collection exactly the same way - and in exactly the same situations. It says "I am an interesting, well spoken man, that likes the finer things in life" with just enough of an edge to spark a conversation. It's not loud, it's not cloying, and it will work in the board-room of a billion-dollar companies, or sitting around the fire with your boys. It just works.

Hairy chest peach-fruity all the time. Opens citrusy and warm. It’s not just a fruity perfume for hot weather and is more professional than other perfumes in this style. Many people say it resembles Black XS, but I didn't find it sugary - it has that fruity vibe, with the bandit peach being quite present, but it's not similar to Erba Pura - just a light resemblance. Cinnamon really appears and it doesn’t resemble Kajal Homme I itself. This is a fruity perfume for three seasons with a more professional touch, possibly due to the aromatics that always contribute to its evolution, less noisy yet with good performance around 9 hours on the skin, projecting just above moderate for a good 2 hours but nothing intrusive. It's not my style of perfume even though I really enjoyed it.

Really beautiful fragrance that doesn't get much appreciation. Id categorize it as a blue fragrance albeit a much classier one than Sauvage and the like. Probably more somewhere between PDM Layton and Blue de Chanel Parfum. Added however is a super unique peach note that makes this one stand out. You could say it's a bit like an ultra luxury shower gel type. The two fragrances Layton and BDC Parfum do not smell exactly the same as the Kajal but it is rather the scent direction (fresh / fruity / sweet with light spice....) and target group that is similar. Basically guys that have a lot to spend on fragrances because this one is definitely up there. I was lucky enough to find it heavily discounted thankfully.

I had the luck of winning this in a giveway from the kind people from cafleurebon and Kajal, and I thank the gods of luck for that, I LOVE this scent. I'm just a normal guy that likes smelling good, and this for me is so "suave" , really elegant and lovely. Even though I thought I didn't like sweet perfumes, I was surprised how I liked the swetness from the cinnamon. Kajal Homme II for me is like a sweeter version of Bleu de Chanel EDP (their opening are nothing alike, but the drydown have similarities), everyone around you will like and compliment you throughout the day (on my skin lasts for hours, and on clothes last days!!) .

Im a big fan of Homme 2. Its a really classy well rounded versatile scent. I would call it a modern fragrance for sure but I dont think its a "blue" fragrance. Its got a nice natural earthy, green depth to it which takes it away from the "blue" ballpark for me. Homme 2 is definately a crowd pleasing fragrance. One of my most complimented to date. It cleverly manages to mix popular fresh, sweet & woody notes together without any screechy or juvenile moments. A perfect signature scent for 25+ The amber, clary sage and woods deliver the earthy depth & richness that really makes this fragrance shine for me. Good job Kajal.

This is a fantastic work of art, smells natural from the very beginning with a blast of ever so slightly powdery, citrusy, fruity and musky start, that settles in to a fruity musky, unisex, leaning masculine gorgeousness. Is definitely not challenging, and it has some familiarity to some other designer fragrances but at the same time very unique and extremely pleasant, I still have 95% of my first bottle and already got a backup. It garnish so many compliments everywhere I go.

The peach in the opening is amazing. The mid is alright but the dry down is fantastic. The oakmoss and musk really shine, giving the scent a nice masculine cleanliness. The only downside is the performance on my skin. After 3 to 4 hours it doesn’t project, but I am using a 2 ml tester so maybe with a better atomizer it would last longer. Even though performance is lacking, I have to get a bottle because it smells so good.

One of my favorite fragrances, this is an all-around winner. It's sweet, but not cloying; it's woody, but not too dry. It's creamy and musky, but not too much so. Definitively masculine, but delicate as well. Kajal Homme II can be worn any time, anywhere, and will garner compliments everywhere you go. A modern day masterpiece, this is something every man out there should at least try. 9/10

Lovely fruity citrusy sweet men's frag. Long lasting and versatile. All check. The fruity vibe reminds me of Xerjoff Erba Pura. A big love for me 👃😍 Saving for a full bottle. I love this fragrance. It has a burst of sweet mandarin then the woods come through. This lasts literally forever! I have gotten compliments 14 hours after application. I have also had people chase me down to ask me what I was wearing. This is my new signature scent and my wife absolutely loves it

I describe it as a juicy citrus with a well-rounded sweetness, and a hint of spice. It's fresh, it's masuline, it smells great, and it's an easy wear. Suitable for all occasions. You can't go wrong with this scent really. Great natural smell too, not overly synthetic.

to my nose, it's like a niche-quality version of sauvage + Y edp + some other blue fragrances. It is definitely a blue fragrance, good for any occasion and any weather. smells great. longevity and projection is alright, nothing to write home about

Another easy year round wear every man should own this.

Lasted about 8 hours but stayed a skin scent forever. I still smell it the next morning vaguely. Sillage and projection are low to moderate but with heat it starts to push a little. After the top notes burn off in the first couple of hours I get those mid notes all the way to the deep dry down. I know it’s listed as peach but I get mostly a fruity, peachy, pineapple, lavender cinnamon scent with a woody base making it lean a little masculine over paco Rabanne xs which is totally unisex. The concentration and base makes it stick to the skin so it’s great as a close encounter scent or something needed to last all day. Do to the playful sweetness of the profile I don’t see this as work appropriate but hey do you. I think at discounters it definitely worth of the $110 price tag, I’m not spending more then that. Feels like a niche designer but with better ingredients. Strong like but might be a love with more time. This would be great for everything but deep winter and hot hot summer.

Likeable fragrance following the blue trend. Very, and I emphasize that, very designerish; it could easily be something that YSL would have released. There is a sweet ambroxan accord prevailing in the composition, which is nice, but I find rather unexciting. After having smelled quite a few fragrances, this one is far from original. At this point I want to add that Kajal Homme II has that mass appealing DNA that guarantees a success story for the men who choose it. The likes of it (Sauvage, Blue de Chanel, Invictus etc) have repeatedly proven how well-loved they are, among both women and men. Nevertheless, those in search of a sophisticated, uncommon, story-telling fragrance, I doubt their expectations will be met in Kajal Homme II. 7/10

Fresh citrus with a peach like twist and some sharper clean musk, maybe a light javanol is giving the sharpness. The rest is pretty blended and hard to pick out but I get light herbs (thyme) and wood. Fruity candy base. The peachy note is a nice addition and makes is a little more interesting, but like Kajal Homme it feels like niche playing at a designer scent and ends up slightly meh. Although I like the scent profile more than Homme it has pretty weak performance and even after 7 sprays it wasn’t projecting much. I seemed to go nose blind to it quickly as well making it even harder to smell. Kajal has more interesting scents than this. Of the Homme I think IV is the most interesting.

Really nice and classy fragrance. When I first sprayed it I got heaps of lavender and it smelt a lot like shaving cream but on my second wearing it completely changed. I get the peach and sweetness. The sweetness is more rich and deep, if that makes sense, and it’s not too sweet. A really well done fragrances. I see the similarities to Bleu de Chanel but I’d say this is different all together. A safe blind buy for anyone who wants to stand out from the crowd.

This is a weird one, it is surprisingly the most complimented fragrance that I have. At first it seemed weak so I was very disappointed but everyone else seems to be able to smell it on me when I no longer can. It’s a shame because I really like the scent and only really wear fragrances for myself so I would like it if I could smell it on myself longer. I get about 30 mins.

This gives me heavy Paco Rabanne Black XS vibes (with better ingredients) and Im all for it. I will be back after a full wearing or two but from first sniff and into the first hour I really like this a lot. Peach lavendar freshness! This is good!

Very designerish woody-fruity blue type of perfume. Blend quality is good, very mass appealing. It would be better if longevity and sillage were better. My score: 7/10

Got a 2 ml sample. Spray it al over. Like 20 sparys. Did get a compliment but very early in the working shift. For me not an great great smell. Its ok.

Amazing office/work scent. Great for everyday use. Smells good and gets compliments easy. Very classic scent with great performance. Blind buy safe.

Ony skin, the lavender in here resemble PDM Percival but more linear. The ambroxan is heavy. Borderline blue fragrance. Its nice but not FBW.

inoffensive, masculine woody-citrus scent. first bought a sample around a year ago to try and find a signature scent (don't know why i was so hell-bent on getting a fragrance that i could wear year-round, my cold weather and warm weather tastes in notes are completely different) and felt that it was okay. nothing special in my opinion, just a citrus that would smell good on someone more masculine. however, i tried it once more a month or so ago, to see if my opinion had changed, and while it smelled the same, there was this weird sort of sticky smelling sweet note that stood out a lot more this time. pretty sure it's the peach. whatever it was, i didn't enjoy it. it smelled odd and out of place to me, and didn't seem to mesh with the other notes at all. it's not a bad fragrance objectively, and i think other people would enjoy it, but it's not for me. 6/10. can kind of recommend, but it's not the best, and there's better out there.

Very fruity and aromatic opening that smells more at home on a Sephora shelf than at a niche specialty store. Extremely designer style, loaded with Ambroxan and iso E super. The reminds me of section is all over the place because it really is just a blue designer scent with a fruity opening that is a lot like PR Black XS but I don’t find them too similar outside of that. I get the Bleu de Chanel vibe, too. They share a common aromatic nature and the Ambroxan/iso overload. I blind bought this for $90 for a full bottle and sold it almost immediately. Longevity was short on me at 2-4 hours before I lost the top notes and it was just wafts of aromachemicals afterward. A 6.5/10. It’s like something YSL or Dolce and Gabbana would release today.

Unfortunately... i’ve not been impressed. Smells ok-ish but nothing special. Has a fresh-soapy DNA that you can find in a lot of designer fragrances. On my skin the performance was below average. It disappeared after 30 minutes. Projection and silage pretty bad, scent profile not unique = waste of money. 🥳 On the other hand my girlfriend has Lamar from this house and it is an incredible sexy fragrance with crazy good performance. That was one of the reasons i’ve wanted to try this house myself. Guess this Homme ll was not the one.

Just want to call to attention the "reminds me of" section is wild, and a good reminder to not blind buy fragrances based on what other fragrances it reminds people of. This smells exactly like scent of peace for him by bond9. I get erba pura but assad and bleu de chanel? wth. this can be found for around 100 bucks so if you like scent of peace for him and don't want to pay some ridiculous price just get this. just an ok fragrance 6.5/10

Got this last week and the smell is really pleasant and well blended. The only gripe I have is that the projection seems extremely low on my skin for some reason. Gonna let the bottle sit for a while before I test it again because I had the same problem with Gisada Ambassador and that projects on me heavy now. Overall good smell but sample before you buy at this price

Imagine Gisada Ambassador but 10x times weaker and more musky. It's not bad but for sure does not worth the price.

certainly more interesting than the first edition but .. its just kinda gross smelling lol.. if they would have used clary sage and mint or pine instead of "random synthetic green note" would have bit slightly better but still a hard pass

Smells exactly like Homme 1 without the spicy kick. I prefer 1 over this quite easily. Kind of disappointed in this blind buy due to the redundancy. Although it’s a great fragrance on its own. The atomizers on homme one and two are pretty bad. I also have Faris and that atomizer is incredible! Nuclear blaster. Faris was made in 2017 and they may have introduced new atomizers I will buy Homme 3 and finish my collection of Kajal. Love the brand!

I got it in sample pack they give when you buy a fragrance, and it's very nice citrus, fruity scent that doesn't last long. I was hoping they would have had Kajal lll in there sample pack, but Homme I, Homme Il, and Faris which was ok. The actual full bottle I got was Kajal IV. And to me that was the best performer out of all, very leathery with dates. Jomashops has good deals on them.

On my skin performance was below average. The scent is mainstream. I would love to see it beastly but in its current form it lacks performance. So good as a personal bubble fragrance

Very nice scent. Not sure how good is the projection, I just got it today but longevity seems good. Reminds me of ultra male but not as sweet and in your face.
