Warde

Green sappy resins, jammy rose, currants, white flowers on the green side & a handful of violets smashed & thrown thru it. The whole thing held down with oud on a musk pillow. The moss gives a bitter-ish note that cuts the sweetnes. The patchouli is fresh & not too strong. I was worried about having absinthe AND artemesia together, but that goes away, on me, in about 30 minutes. Just be smart about how much you spray for the place you will be. My guy said I smelled like someone had dragged me thru the landscaping.😸 I got about 5 hours of decent scent bubble & then dry down was still greenish, but the resin & oud is fabulous for another 4 hours of noticeable skin scent. Warde is really something different from all the fruity florals. NOT a safe blind buy.

Warde is a stunning coniferous creation with sweetened absinthe. Green and dense. Beautifully blended! By the notes list, I expected something overwhelming...Warde isn't soft by any means, but it's not bulldozing me. It's quite calming, actually. As I have observed from trying this, one to two sprays of this will be suitable for a woman, and any more sprays than that it will seem more masculine. Very interesting. Whoever you are, and however many sprays you want to use, it's going to last a while! Longevity is not an issue here. This is my first experience with Kajal and I'm eager to try more from this line!

Not as much a beast mode as its made out to be ! Opening is flowery with rose leading the floral pack. It has that same green-rosey-fougere-mildly aromatic kinda vibe that i get from Toy Boy. Its a like not a love ! Gonna let the bottle macerate a few months and came back for an update . Sadly don't get any pine or the absinthe stew of whatever resins and woodsy aspect of it supposed to convey. Dries down to a sweetish, vanilla/amber/tonka bean base with still the warm powdery rose on a mild bed of green-ish leaves or twigs ! For the contextual imagery- this reminds me of Indian weddings where when u enter the venue, it has been bedecked with bouquets of roses along with the green ferns . That's what is reminds me of ! Its not bad...its just that its not spectacular !

definitely well made fragrance if youre really into green fragrances this could be a nice signature scent has a decent mass appeal i just think the price point is a bit steep. i feel like the 115-130$ range for this would be more fair

Boozy stewed fruits with a backbone of conifer (not the fresh kind), very unique and STRONG. Sweet, jammy, viscous, honeyed, and it definitely needs cold weather. I have a full bottle for sale or swap, can be shipped anywhere in Canada or US - please PM me.

I am on the fence with this. Even though you can tell that this is a quality perfume, I just don't know if I can get over the absinthe and pine notes in here. They are strong. Almost to the point where they initially made me gag. The dry down here though is stunning... as is the bottle. My husband says that it smells nice. He initially smells flowers, but later he said he smells Irish soap lol. Safe to say that this is not a blind buy

I am trying to figure out how I feel about this. The initial spray is strong. I can smell the absinthe- which almost has a licorice feel to it. I am not loving it...But slowly the rose is beginning to peek through, a little resin, some musk... & it is slowly becoming less green and making me think maybe, just maybe this will change a bit if I allow it to macerate. Or should I simply send it back. I am not sure right now.

I have decided that I hate it. That absinthe note along with the Pine is simply terrible to me. I sent it back

Green, oriental rose enriched with woods & flowers Kajal Warde is a unisex floral fragrance with a strong emphasis on rose and orange blossoms, enriched with woods, slightly fruity and slightly green. It is of a superior class in terms of longevity, projection and lifespan compared to the old Amouage perfumes, so it is a beast mode perfume. Perfect for cold weather, good for late fall, winter or cold spring days. Both the packaging and the glass represent the spirit of this creation, a very luxurious perfume. The price of 200-230 dollars is well deserved considering that we are talking about a perfume with a high degree of essential oils. A complex perfume, slightly western, slightly green, slightly oriental. I will look and I am curious about other perfumes from the Warde line. EDIT Kajal Warde, decadent and intoxicating Kajal Warde can be considered a rare occurrence due to the multitude of fragrances that appear almost daily in the olfactory landscape. If I were to give a brief description, I could say that we are talking about rose petals and jasmine, all mixed in a glass of absinthe. Intoxicating, sweet-boozy, with a green touch. The meeting with Warde is threatening and powerful. Warde means generosity and the French perfumer Alix Miral has been sharing an enormous amount of white flowers, berries and absinth since the opening. There is practically no need to spray on the skin to realize that you have encountered a very strong scent, both the longevity and the projection being truly amazing. It is a unisex perfume. At first glance, the flowers seem to tip the scales towards the feminin sex, but the boozy and the green notes highlight the second face of the perfume, a masculine and sensual one. It is suitable to be worn at night, in the cold autumn or winter evenings. Go on occasion, for close meetings as long as you do not abuse the atomizer. Two puffs is enough to create a cloud around you that everyone will feel. it is a perfume with many facets that changes during wearing, it is not a linear one. The presentation is exceptional.

Wardé is a deep and intense dark floral herbal woody perfume, an interpretation of the very original 'Oud & Rose' combo, in fact it is much more than an 'Oud & Rose', there is much more going on here. It has a strident initial explosion, the fragrance at its exit in the first moments arrives very powerful with an absinthe and pine tree burned to the point of almost tearing and suffocating, what a STRONG exit. As it progresses, it loses that initial overwhelming ardency and harshness with the spring arrival in the heart of the perfume of an exuberant bouquet of white flowers that tries to lighten the fragrance but the 'Black Rose', thorny and sharp, the Queen and star of this fragrance, does not let the perfume free itself from the darkness and ordering that this is definitely a dark fragrance par excellence. Towards the drydown comes a dark oud with the spruce and musk giving a dark green musky camphor tone, finishing with the patchouli and resins that give a slight sweet and balanced scent to the perfume.

Warde is an introspective fragrance: absinthe in the opening (liqueur much loved by Les poetes maudits, used to explore the most hidden areas of our spirit), together with the blueberry gives a balsamic and slightly sugary opening. A central part dominated by the most precious flowers blooms surrounding this scent like a splendid frame. I’m not experienced with piney fragrances. The absinthe / pine pop in the opening is distinctive and awakening. I don’t think it was too overwhelming. The artemisia / rose combo stands out for me more than any stand alone floral (but I might just be more sensitive to it). I wouldn’t call this a green rose, and more that the rose brings together the pine, artemisia and resins. I couldn’t pick up on white flowers. Maybe some violet, but I think it’s just to support the character. I enjoy its uniqueness. Not sure what occasions I’d reach for it. Maybe a relaxed socialising situation.

my friend bought this and got me a decant and this is absolutely a delicious scent it lasts all day on my skin which is pretty rare for me. I smell it all day and it’s such a gorgeous scent. It’s definitely complex, but if I had to dumb it down this smells (on my skin) mainly like flowers and woody incense. If I put my nose up close I get the pine and absinthe notes. Hoping to get a full bottle soon, this is definitely a pricey one but worth cuz of the performance alone.

This perfume must’ve been brewed up in a cauldron because it’s put a spell on me. It was the one Kajal out of my 8 I had reservations because of the notes. Beautiful sweet floral fragrance with green notes that bring sophistication and sexiness, you could wear this all year round, it’s a beautiful fragrance. With a slight gothic twist. Think hounds of the Baskervilles, Sherlock Holmes.

Sweet boozy resinous roses. Fruitti absinthe is what I got first then it moves slightly to a sweet rosy resinous fruits. It has black currant, orange blossoms, Turkish roses, absinthe, raisin, balsam fir, and artemisia. It's a boozy sweet rosy blend. Cute for those who enjoys boozy fruitti blends.
