Dragee

This was my first perfume and I am endlessly trying to find a grown-up version of it. It is the cutest, softest smell full of joy and playfulness. I feel it is my exact personality in a bottle, but I want to find something with more sillage, more of a presence. I tried Prada Infusion D'amande, Zara A sweet pastry in Paris, and neither of them get close to the soft cuteness of this perfume. Layering these two also does not cut it for me. The anise in Prada and the sweetness of the Zara perfume are cloying and overpowering the softness I look for. Finally, the notes here are not fully accurate, I think. I know there has to be lemon in it, not just almond, vanilla, and musk. I'll keep looking.

this will be forever the fragrance of my baby boy; I bought it just before he was born, and I used to wear it also the first weeks, such a delicate, tender & fresh fragrance! Like a sweet cloud, pure, powdery but yet fresh & light... such a pitty it's no longer produced!

the notes are : almond, jasmine, cedar wood, vanilla, musc. soft, innocent, tender, just perfect for babies and toddlers, boy and girl

I chanced it and bought a tester bottle of this and Kaloo Liliblue for myself as some of the reviews for the Kaloo scents have been so positive and also because I often like clean, fresh scents that aren't heavy and overpowering. The tester bottles of these were so cheap that I figured if I didn't like them I had nothing much to lose but everything to gain if I did like them! Luckily for me, this has turned out to be very likeable. It's a bit stronger at first than I expected it to be but only in a powdery, creamy kind of way but it freshens up after a few minutes and becomes lighter and 'clearer' smelling but still slightly powdery and creamy smelling. Liliblue is fresher, citrussy and more refreshing smelling and is equally nice on its own or I've sometimes been layering it with Dragee which makes for a really nice, clean, long-lasting smell. Both of them last a surprisingly long time on me and I can smell them for hours without the need to reapply. They're ideal daytime and office type scents but would smell just as nice anytime, anywhere, day or night! The only downside for me of these scents is that as I have the tester bottles they don't have the very cute teddy bear / bunny rabbit head caps! What a shame!! Oh well, the scents are still very nice anyway but the teddy bear / bunny rabbit heads would have been so nice to have as well (can you tell I'm a very youthful Geminian??!). I can definitely recommend this, and Liliblue, for women just as much as for children. In fact, I like them so much I'm tempted to try the others in this line too!

Dragee is as cute and cuddly as the teddy bear cap suggests! I could really imagine wearing this around my baby, if I have a baby one day. It's so soft, sweet and tender. A bit creamy, a bit powdery with almond and vanilla. I think there might be a bit of orange and neroli, because it has a hint of that typical baby scent and doesn't smell like dessert. This is not complex or refined, it's very linear and doesn't have a lot of projection or longevity. It's clearly noticeable directly on the skin, but not from afar. Something that can be worn around sensitive noses, for gourmand lovers who need something very light.

My very first bottle of perfume, a gift from my dad, when I was still in primary school. This brought back a lot of memories. I like it lots.

This smells like lemon and musk with a touch of vanilla— no almond here! It’s not a bad scent, but the notes listed are a tad misleading. It would make a cute gift for a child or expecting parents. EDIT: it just hit me- this smells like musk and heliotrope. Not almondy, but the type of heliotrope that has lemony nuances.

Those teddy bear bottles are so cute. Let’s say that the little baby part in me is delighted :) The adult part captures an heliotrope scented body water, sweet, which will be lovely to refresh a little child without changing his-her own beautiful natural smell, and why not to share a first scented bottle together. It would also be a good alternative if you’re pregnant and become very sensitive to anything too sweet or too strong.

This is a beautiful fragrance, whether for a child or an adult. I wear Kaloo Dragee myself and had many compliments on it. Dragee is so soft and light, yet it does not diminish as many other soft fragrances tend to do. It is a great office/every day fragrance.

Smells like a lipstick :) very soft and gentle! I've take it for my baby girl, but secretly spray it on me too :)
