Pure Couture

I was strolling through TJmaxx and saw this perfume. I've been really into perfumes lately so I decided to test some of the perfumes and this one really surprised me. I wore it as I was shopping and decided to purchase it on a whim. It was only $17 for a 3.4 oz. I like this better than a lot of designer perfumes I've smelled. I'm very picky and will usually only like 1 in every 15-20 perfumes I smell. This one is simple, but perfect. Oddly, it doesn't smell any of the listed notes. I thought it was so weird because the notes are not things I would like. Not a fan of citrus, floral or spicy scents and this doesn't smell like that at all. It opens up slightly citrusy and fresh. No strong alcohol scent. It has a perfect balance of fruityness and feminine modern florals. And it's sweet. Not sickly sweet, but airy/juicy yummy sweet. It's a very linear scent that doesn't change much throughout the day and I love that. It's an easy reach daily perfume. Update: I’ve been smelling this one more and wearing it a lot and my nose picked up a certain scent that is reminiscent of men’s cologne. It’s very strange. There’s a certain quality that makes it smell like cologne, but it’s still very feminine if that makes sense. It’s very sweet. I can’t pin point it. Maybe it’s the woody notes. But it still smells delicious.

HOLY COW!!!! this is amazing. if you are thinking about buying it... just do it (nike). its crazy long lasting. For $99 i would never think it would be this amazing, it should retail at like 299. Everywhere i go i get so many complements because4 its a perfect everyday scent. if you want something fresh and sweet that will stay all day - u found it babe!!

Reminds me of a 'pepper-musk' that I own called Laitak Mae from Lattafa, but without the smoky incense accord and more sugary and floral. Straight up floral white musk in the dry down on my skin at around 3 hours, lasts around 5. Kind of a letdown for something named Couture for something this safe and boring. I don't hate it though

I was so hoping to find an inexpensive gem with this one, but no luck. I really only get a hairspray smell. Not even a hint of any of the notes in sight! Perhaps it’s my chemistry. I’ve tried it a couple times now, with the same results. Love the cube bottles but sadly not the fragrance. I almost can’t smell a darn thing! Maybe I’m going noseblind to certain scents (I’ve been smelling a lot lately). I’ll tuck it away for a while and revisit it in a few weeks and do an update if it changes.
