Pure Pink

Since the fragrance notes are disappointingly lacking detail, I'm attempting to identify some of the notes I smell in this perfume. It's a completely fruity scent to me. Any floral notes in it must be so well blended, that none of them are distinct from the rest of the fragrance. The first fruit that comes to mind with this scent is juicy Pink Lady Apples! (Also known as Cripps Pink.) That happens to be my favorite variety of apple too! I'd say the apple note is not completely ripe, lending to the tartness in the perfume. I'm picking up on some grapefruit in the fragrance as well. To balance the tartness, there's sugar in there as well. It brings a really pleasant balance to the play between sweet and tart. It's a cool, crisp scent - no warmth here! It's perfect for spring or a non-tropical summer option - when it's hot enough that instead of spending your day on a sunny, shimmering tropical beach, you'd rather dive into the refreshing, cool lake waters of a more temperate climate.

I've been experimenting with layering this fragrance with others, and I have to say, Karen Low Pure Pink is an *excellent* mixer! It brings a light-hearted, candy-like sweetness to every perfume I've tried it with! So far, my favorite mixing combinations with it are: Lady Stetson (as base) + Pure Pink. Elizabeth Taylor White Diamonds Night (base) + Armaf Le Femme (middle) + Pure Pink (top). Also, Karen Low Pure Pink + Armaf Le Femme becomes fruit and cotton candy. I can't wait to find other wonderful combinations! I think this is a fragrance I will always keep on hand just because it is so versatile!

My boyfriend is obsessed with this. It's sweet, fruity, floral and beautiful. Like dark fruits. It's really like if you removed the caramel from viva la juicy noir and left with only the fruit. It's really long lasting and people will compliment you on it. It smells fresh. I love it too.

If you’re a lover of anything fruity and sweet then this is gonna be right up your alley! Smells good for such a low price. Great buy and cute pink bottle that really smells so pink. Love love!

It’s fresh and fruity and lasts all of 5 minutes! I wish the staying power was better because the scent is very tropical and sweet. I like it a lot, but can’t love it because it’s gone as soon as the alcohol evaporates!

If Del Monte canned fruit cocktail had a scent.

PURE PINK, to my nose, opens with a burst of sweet fruity floral strawberry and apple notes - similar to what you would find in a Victoria's Secret mist like Strawberries and Champagne - only PURE PINK is sweeter. It also reminds me of scents like Riri, Ed Hardy, SJP NYC, and other sweet strawberry candy fruity floral scents. Of note, once the perfume has dried down, the apple note becomes the dominant note on the skin. I totally agree with the reviewer below who precisely captured the essence as "Pink Lady Apple" - because that's truly what it smells like on the skin once it has dried down. In this stage, toward the end, it reminds me of DKNY Be Delicious Fresh Blossom - a sweet pink fruity apple. Sadly, this perfume does not last at all on my skin... the scent disappears after about 30 minutes.

I got the notes of Pure Pink off of Walmart site.... Top: star fruit, Italian mandarin, boysenberry. Middle: lotus, star jasmine. Base: caramelized pear, vanilla, musk and wood. I have it on order and will update after I wear it a few times :)

This reminded me of something I owned long ago. I can't quite put my finger on it but I think it's pure seduction by victorias secret. At any rate, it's really nice and more of a body spray quality.
