Bois de Cyprès

I did not expect anything from this line which seems to go on the cheaper side of things, without being vulgar at all however and discreetly wearable. I have tried the previous releases without being impressed really, and this one was also starting to leave me cold on the inital sniffing, which I found a bith harsh, common and aggressive, but after about 10 minutes, the scent evolved into one of the best vetivers I have ever smelt, very warm, round with the vetiver root being very distinct at the same time but in the background. One the best surprises since long. I have bought it and this will be a very good classy winter scent that I will surely buy again when finished.

Wow, what a beautiful composition! All the notes blend in in a beautiful symphony, all coming together as natural as the colour of the bottle. Green notes are the new contradiction to the sweet amber-heavy perfumes that have been dominating the scene lately according to a recent article here at Fragrantica. Can't wait to try out the latest Bois de Oud though in the same series. But for now, this bottle is gonna rock my boat this summer!

I got this at a discount counter at a freeshop. This is a delicious refreshing treat. Green and musky at the same time. Great value. Only downside is longevity and silage. You need to get trigger happy to make it stand a bit more.

Fresh, citrusy, sweet. Beautiful scent. Unimpressive performance, but worth the overspray. I typically use it to layer with another light freshy.

Subtle but in a good way. I imagine a heavy base of this overlaid with a light misting of Grey Flannel would be very interesting.

Bois de Cypres smells surprisingly similar to Boss Bottled Bold Citrus, at a fraction of the cost!

If you liked the other releases in this line, chances are very high you gonna like this one as well, it starts off very bright and fresh, then it gets very aromatic and you get this really nice whiffs of the cypress and mandarin, very pleasant in the air around you, projection is average and longevity around 6 hours, i liked this one.

Interesting and lovely. Cardamom is very nice here.

Was looking forward to this but a little disappointed. Opens with an old school ashtray vibe like a lot of classics, polo green for example. Softens a little as it dries and becomes a little sweeter. About 75% similar to DSquared green wood only this is maturer. Terrible performance

Aromatic citrus opening, in drydown its more mint dominant then cypress.

Got a tester, not impressed. The opening is very pleasant, The cardamom citrus combo is done very well. But it fades in like 10 minutes into a soapy grandpa like smell, kinda unpleasant actually. Wouldnt wear this, honestly you can do much better with plenty 8€ no name fragrances in your local supermarket

This comes across as basically Prada Luna Rossa, but slightly more interesting, yet performs slightly less. It's a good alternative. I paid £35 for 100ml and will probably use it more than Luna Rossa. Overspray. If you dont, you won't get that bubble around you.
