Karl Lagerfeld for Her

A sheer fruity floral. Nothing complicated, heavy, or tbh, original. There are literally dozens of perfumes out there in the same vein, though this is better than most of them simply because it's not syrupy sweet and there is nothing synthetic here to my nose. The composition is somewhat true to the note profile and has a weightlessness that should work as well in warm weather as its working now in cold. Though not a silage bomb, I was able to smell it clearly around me for about 5 hours. Not bad for a fragrance that cost me $12.00 with free shipping for a 3. 4oz.tester bottle. For that price I can respray to my heart's content. While this is far from a love, I don't hate it and will wear it on those occasions when I just can't make up my mind and need something that smells pretty, clean, and doesn't make a statement. As a side note, I do not understand some of the reviews. It sounds like they are describing a men's cologne. Could it be they are reviewing the men's version and put it in the wrong spot? 1/15/23 - I was getting ready for church and running late. I just stuck my hand into the perfume cabinet and came out with this. The only thought I had at the time was, Thank God it's not Lush Lust. Ha, ha... and spritz on a few sprays. Citrus, apple and peach on first spray, then the magnolia came barreling in with the other florals following shortly after settling on a musky, woody, ambery base. Maybe it's because this bottle has been sitting unworn for so long it had macerated some more, but this is now a fruity floral bomb on me, with the emphasis on the florals. Made me think of Enjoy by Jean Patou. Actually, it is much prettier than that. I am really liking this now.

I love this so much and is one of the best blind buys I've ever made. It is perfect for spring and I have received compliments every time I've worn it recently. On my skin the peach and citrus is very prominent and juicy with the florals coming in second. Peach is my favorite fruity note and it makes this rather average floral composition just delightful. It doesn't remind me of daisy as the floral notes are handled differently. Who might enjoy this: people who like Chloé EDP, Cacharel Yes I Am Glorious, Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet and/or EDP, Eternity, Dolce&Gabbana the One (but more brightly floral), Nina Ricci Rose L’Extase, people who liked Giorgio Beverly Hills or Sunflowers back in the day Who might not like this: lovers of gourmand, who must have vanilla, patchouli, or Tonka bean in their fragrances. People who think p each seems a little bit like urine, People who despise bright white tropical florals or find them cutting To me this is a real hidden gem and it lasts for hours on my skin with wide enough spillage to garner compliments from strangers. A keeper and I wouldn't mind owning a backup at these current prices

Negative reviews about this fragrance are surprising. It is a pure delight. Many reviewers comment that a particular scent is "generic". That may be true... but how different can perfumes with similar ingredients and notes be from one another... I mean really! In many instances the same "noses" create multiple scents and in 2014... how many fragrance ingredients have not been used and combined already. For me recent unexpected and unusual concoctions have come from Thierry Mugler, Tom Ford and Lolita Lempika ( lets not forget Pink Sugar!) The original Kim Kardasian and Tease from Paris Hilton are almost indistinguishable... but I have both. A beautiful fragrance is a beautiful fragrance and Karl Lagerfeld for Her is one of them. Just enjoy wearing it for what it is. I certainly do. It's fab!

As I still continue my search for that perfect white floral soft and clean perfume that LASTS on me, is BOLD ENOUGH but doesn't give me headache... And I think I've found one. Though it says it has a magnolia in it, to my nose it felt more like a jasmine. Anyways, I love it! It opens up beautifully and I hear compliments from others too. It lasts pretty long and is strong enough to be noticed in a crowd. Definitely going to purchase it asap. I see it as a perfect spring and summer perfume, it makes you feel like you are on a vacation to Mediterranean countries standing in a white floral garden. Though the bottle is not that expensive it gives pretty much luxury feeling to my nose. I think it will be my new to-go signature scent till the fall! I'm so happy about it!

This is still one of my absolute favourite perfumes. It’s so elegant and classy smelling without a huge price tag. I was interested in one of the comments comparing it to Versace Vanitas, it’s so true! I compared side by side and they are literally the same with only very slight difference on dry down. I was so pleased because I love the Versace but it’s been discontinued I have a few backup bottles so I have some to compare. I was so surprised that I didn’t pick up the similarities earlier because I love Vanitas. I always knew the Karl Lagerfeld reminded me a lot of the style of Versace perfume‘s but I didn’t realise just how close it was. Amazing good quality long lasting fragrance I highly recommend.

Absolutely beautiful. Best chypre in a very long time. Has roots to the original. I am in love ATM with this. Thank you universe. I will have more to say on this fragrance once I take some time to feel this through. Very unisex and very Parisian. Inexpensive gem. Update. After wearing this I realised how much like Caleche, the eighties version this is like, similar notes. Lighter but very, very reminiscent. Beautiful flacon. Bonus being a EDP. The green notes are absolutely sublime. What a gem. So apt for mid season sub tropical climes. Refreshing and intoxicating. Aficionados will I'm confident of either sex, are bound to be satisfied. X.T. it's an absolute love. Grab it before it's gone.

One of my fave scents. The musk is just so sexy and strong. Floral but in a sexy way. It’s a masculine scent. Not very feminine at all. I don’t see why a woman would want to wear this scent at all. I’m a man and I see why a man would love this. I guess a specific type of woman could. But this is a inoffensive sexy sleek musky floral with a hint of soft clean vibrant rose. The bottle is also so unique and I love the top/lid it’s so pleasing to the hand to grab. Also typically more masculine. For something similar - look to Jimmy Choo Illicit Flower, essentially identical also with a unique bottle and very affordable. Karl still demands a higher price.

Enjoyable scent through and through. I believe this will do me better in the colder months or dead winter. Heavily rose and floral. Aromatic simply floral, nothing about this is "fruity" at all. I still love the bottle and just treasure that I found it at a cheap price as honesty even with my enjoyment. This scent is so "typical" I wouldn't want to spend more than $40 on it. And that's on a large bottle. Luckily I did not. I do have to say it has staying power but under the right "temperature" I will spray it a few more times, but it may be put up till colder months. Definitely not a summer or day when it's hot fragrance. At all.

I agree with Temporalgrace; I'm not a fan of the sickeningly sweet perfumes popular for my age group like Juicy Couture. I don't want to be Flowerbombed or assaulted by a fragrance either. This perfume has a nice clean scent with the white florals, amber and woods to add warmth. It's feminine and sophisticated without smelling old-ladyish. I should also add that I have allergies and asthma that make it difficult to wear just any perfume, and happily, this perfume doesn't agitate my allergies. I smelled it along with others and really enjoyed this scent the most at Macy's. I had to buy it. It's a great spring/summer scent.

One freaking hell of an amazing, explosive, sensual, fresh - and romantic, long lasting, gorgeous juice of a perfume. Wow My new favorite. I added that its a tad similar to Vanitas, so for lovers of Issey's famous freshness, or Versace's Vanitas edp or edt - this is a must have. The frangipani makes it very fresh and comes off as romantic and intimate, i totally love it, very happy with this perfume. (I am a collector, and am obsessed with perfumes, but to be honest have never actually heard of this designer before :p ) perhaps because i dont own designer clothes, but the perfume is WOW.

Ok so I've been wearing this for weeks now and think I can give a really good review of it. This to me smells like wealth! It smells like a really wealthy well put together woman haha... I don't know what it is exactly that makes it smell like this to me but I feel sophisticated and really classy when I put this on. It's a really pretty well blended perfume and it's getting super hard to find now and makes me worry it's being discontinued so I've snapped up any bottle I can find...

I love this! This is a beautiful perfume. Lovely floral sweet and smells expensive to me. What's so funny is I bought Jimmy Choo Flash and this on the same day and when I looked them up here I see they are from the same famous perfumer Christine Nagel!I must really enjoy her fragrances I think she's amazing because she blends florals so seamlessly and they smell so layered and well made. Will definitely be repurchasing this it's beautiful, lasts well and is excellent quality.

this was a blind buy last year, but a successfull one; i am in love with it! a simple everyday fragrance, best on warmer days in spring and summer. maybe nothing special really, but that's what i love about it. if you like floral scents but you just want an everyday perfume and nothing too heavy, this is for you. to be honest, not everyone can or want rock heavy spicy scents and this smells fantastic. also a nice luxurious bottle.

Really beautiful underrated Gem!!! I agree with the review below, this is totally a hidden gem if you like citrus, rose soft florals. Lasts so well for a soft floral. The soft peach note adds a sweetness that isn’t sugary or too much. I’ve reviewed this before but I just had to say again just how lovely this is for the price. Grab it while you can as I think it is discontinued unfortunately just like all the best fragrances.

Unlike any other perfume, it has the note I have been searching for: snowdrop. Not listed, but this is how it smells to me. Unexpected, I must admit. The moment I took off the lid and left to see the crisp, silver collar of the bottle, it put me in a serious mood. But then the fragrance...so feminine, so delicate. Unexpected, indeed. I'm very pleased with this perfume.

I got a set of the large bottle of this EDP, a roll-on and the body lotion. This way the scent will last longer. This fragrance is very elegant, so is the bottle. Karl Lagerfeld is no John Galliano. To me KL is very elegant, black and white. I am surprised that some people here expected an edgy scent "a la John Galliano".

Smelled today at macys. I enjoyed this. The dry down was nice. For the price I'll wait and if I find for a steal I would pick up. It is a bit typical has a lot of similar notes to other fragrances I own and like but has something in it that still pops enough to make me want. A future purchase for sure but a great scent.

A blind buy....a good buy!!!! It's easy to wear, easy to smell, clean and fresh. Imagine a woman wearing beige modern clothes, beautiful shiny hair and light make up...could wear exactly this perfume. A look that seems expensive but it isn't necessary. It' s a harmony, a nice symphony. Verdi 4 seasons spring.

"Karl Lagerfeld" is a feminine sweet perfume with Flowery and Fruity notes with a lot of Magnolia and Rose scent. I can smell Peach in the top note and a bit musk as the base note too. It is a good perfume for Spring and Summer with medium longevity and projection. This is a good perfume for daily activities.

I own several KL perfumes, this is by far one of his best! My recent bottle is only 5 weeks old and it's already half gone. I get many compliments when I wear this <3 I found a great seller on eBay that sells testers of this gorgeous perfume for less than $15 a piece, I am planning on stocking up!!!!!

This is a fresh fruity floral with lemon and rose being the stars and peach playing secondary role with soapy aspect and a woody drydown. It's a pleasant spring/summer feminine scent in the same family as Dior J'adore and Quatre. Pretty moderate longevity and sillage. Love.

Beautiful sweet floral. Inoffensive. I'm not sure if I smell any of the notes listed here, but for me this is a masterpiece. I went through half of my 85 ml bottle in less than a month while having other 50 full bottles at home. And for that price? Total steal!

This is absolutely the cleanest smelling parfym that I know. This could be one of the Clean-parfyms. I can't smell flowers or fruits, I just smell clean and fresh scent. Not soapy way. I really like it. Sillage is very good, over 8h on my skin.

quite underrated and unappreciated fragrance, you can find it for a bargain. I wear it at night, men and women love it on my skin. It's perfect for autumn season. A big thumbs up!

Feminine, soft and citrusy sweet. Spray generously because she will ghost you after an hour and become a skin scent. Nice for cuddling.

I blind bought this perfume about a week ago, there was a good bargain on the set (100 Ml Perfume, Body Lotion, and Shower Gel) for about 60 USD, so I thought why not! I will give it a go, especially I never tried anything from Karl Lagerfeld's house before. The fragrance: is a very generic Fruity/Floral scent, with Peach and Magnolia taking the lead with a fizzy/bright opening and a creamy/soft dry down, when I first sniffed it, it instantly reminded me of at least 2 or 3 other fragrances, so it is not unique in terms of the scent and it is not cheap smelling at the same time, it does have the same qualities of a designer fragrance. it is a pleasant perfume, it is easy to reach for when you are indecisive on the scent of the day Longevity and Sillage: I am so impressed by the longevity, it is long-lasting (keep in mind the weather now is cold with low humidty) for sillage it is moderate and soft. Sillage was stronger when layered with the shower gel and body lotion (I am using body lotion here as written on the tube, yet in fact, it is more like body milk in texture) Overall, I like the scent, not sure if it is going to be stable in my collection or if I will repurchase, but I am happy with it and it is a good value to money for sure

Where do I start? I purchased this as another pandemic blind buy, and at first I was physically upset and confused with the scent. Karl Lagerfield flanked me with a fragrance both similar to it's description, and so very far from it. The scent is perplexing, and for a while, I danced around the fragrance, not knowing quite how to classify any of it. The bottle is both feminine and masculine; a direct metaphor for the dichotomy of it's contents. Soft, musky rose opposed to a deeply resonant woody amber. Citrus notes quickly develop and dissipate, leaving a clean effervescence. Floral notes gently direct you to the core of the composition. If I was being trite, I would say that Karl meant to infuse a certain feminine empowerment within the layers of this creation. It is as if the feminist movement expressed throughout history, was captured and encapsulated into one perfume. The more I acquaint myself, the more I learn to love this assertive alternative to your standard sweet, unimposing rose scent - so unsparingly used in other perfumes.

This scent has been on my radar for years. It's only available on-line in my country and though I've often been on the brink of blind buying it, it somehow always got shunted aside in favor of other purchases. Long story short, I came upon this at a duty free during a trip to Europe and was happy to actually be able to sample it. It was an instant strong like but it reminded me of something I already have but couldn't pinpoint. I bought this anyway because it was such a crazy bargain and I really liked the scent. Now that I'm home and reunited with my collection, I finally recognize that it is very similar to Prada La Femme Water Splash which, indeed, is a favorite of mine. I'm glad I only got a 25 ml. bottle of KL, cause my Prada is 150 ml and although I love it, the dent isn't all that deep and the two are very similar to my nose.... Adding that I realize now that it also reminds me slightly of Elizabeth Arden's My Fifth Avenue, another favorite of mine.

I don't understand that big amount of negative reviews about this scent. Yes, it maybe isn't a bomb or something unique and new, but it's really good, juicy, fresh daytime perfume. A nice citrus-rose-musk perfume for a modern, dynamic lady of any age. The opening is fresh, sparkling and mouthwatering (the lemon or just even a thought about a sour lemon), then I smell a bouquet of delicate flowers with some mild, juicy peaches hidden inside of that bouquet. Such a fun! The rose and the magnolia are prominent, but they don't make the scent "old" or too classic. The base is sweet, flowery musk with some wood hints. On me it's very long lasting. This scent reminds me something- a scent I've had (or still have), but I can't figure out what exactly. If I'll remember, I will certainly write here. I'm thinking about purchasing a full bottle. Update: I know- it reminds me Armand Basi Rose Glacee. And sometimes Versace Versense too.

It’s very lovely and unique. It smells exactly like cream and lotion — super velvety. Reminds me of expensive shampoo and lotion. If this perfume had a color, it would be milky or white for me, like skin coated in creamy lotion and wrapped in silky clothes. I really, really wish the longevity was better. The peach, magnolia, and frangipani create a velvety, creamy, white floral-fruity blend — I absolutely love it. This parfume is sophisitcated and feminine without trying too hard. Not femme fatale, just the everyday, alluring woman. I feel I look good wearing it even without any makeup, in my jeans and girly T-shirt. Gives me confidence. First it suprised me as instead of peach and lemon it smells like honeydew melon on my skin. My husband and I got a good laugh because when we started dating each other a few centuries ago, the fashionable parfumes all had a very prominent honeydew melon note. It seems I can't get rid of it. The longevity is very good, cc 7 hours on me, sillage is moderate. It can easily be worn all year around, but shows its best in spring I think.

I had this perfumes years ago gifted by my brother Wasn't and still not my type, i like gourmands and heavy perfumes This perfume is a clean white floral easy to grab and easy to wear, but it smells expensive and sophisticated Longevity and sillage are not the best i used to baaaaaath in it just to smell myself BUUUUUT compliment magnet for sure, once i had to take the bus then the train the same day and got asked twice about what perfume i wore, it surprised me for sure! Another time a woman made me write her down the name of this perfume 'cause i smelled so angelic and classy

I got one of those sample vials of this juice somehow and sprayed it on myself at work. It was very fresh and floral and although I liked it, it wasnt enough for me to want to buy it. At least not right away. But I couldnt stop sniffing my wrist. Fast forward a few weeks and I couldnt get the smell out of my head. I sprayed it on after the shower. My boyfriend came over and asked "What is that??! It smells amazing" I knew I wanted it. Lol It is a nice spring everyday fragrance and I was able to find a really good deal at Amazon. 2.8 oz for $31.. No shipping! Cant beat it!

If you need a fresh, non-offensive scent for everyday wear from an office to lunch to shopping, this is it. It's not pushing any boundaries, its not edgy, it's not going to make a cute boy fall in love with you. It's fresh and clean and modest. It's safe. It's sweet 16 in a bottle. Not that it's for only young women, just it's got an innocence to it. If you want to make an entrance or impress your date, pick something more interesting. Sillage is soft and you'll need to reapply throughout the day. Like others, I got mine for $20 and it's a great fragrance at that price.

It's nice and simple. I have no actual bad words for it, the only thing is, it might be too ordinary in the world of many outstanding perfumes. But I guess there is also a market for simple light scents suitable for work or school. Light floral scent, mostly rose and magnolia. There's also a little peach and citrus. It could be quite refreshing. So, my emotions for this one are quite positive, but since I am not a millionaire I can only afford to buy scents that completely amaze me.

I have to say Fragantica reviews steered me right with this perfume. This is mostly floral, citrus and a heavy musk which is not a negative, it's a big love! Many similarities to Quatre but definitely enough differences to be able to pick them apart and chose a favorite. This is much stronger and muskier and has about the same same great longevity as Quatre. I absolutely prefer this because I love both the scent and the performance. One of my best blind buys.

This is a nice citrussy white floral, a genre I think I have too much from, and in which I would hold Authentic Woman, Calvin Klein Woman and Coach Dreams higher. Came here to say that I was wearing La Fede Crisp Aura, and then added this. A beautiful champagne aroma emerged! After that dissipates, I finally get the comparison to Boss Femme. Could swear that is on my wrist now. No idea how, a little bit of perfume magic.

Karl Lagerfeld for Her is indeed very similar to Quatre Boucheron but the starting notes are different here (more floral and creamy because of magnolia...?). Once the perfume settles, it’s very easy to confuse it with Quatre. Both become very citrusy... I like Karl Lagerfeld perfumes and really wanted to like this one. But, I had tried Boucheron Quatre first and found it to be much nicer than Karl Lagerfeld actually.

There's nothing offensive or difficult with this perfume which I think is it's key feature. It's just lovely. It's not anything too interesting but there's nothing off putting or even really boring about it, despite being a simple blend of fragrances. It makes a casual day become a little more enjoyable and positive, and it's great to have a perfume of this nature in a collection.

Underrated perfume in my opinion. Was a blind buy for me and I really love it! It is clean and fresh, slightly citrusy and floral. Longevity is about 5 hours on me, but I do not mind, It costed like 20 bucks only and the smell definitely does not reflect the price, it is sophisticated and in a way expensive even. Beautiful perfume, would highly recommend even as a blind buy!

This one is quite nice. I get a citrusy musk with a soft floral touch. It is elegant and smells expensive, but it lacks originality. It reminds me of many perfumes i ́ve already tested, but for this price i think it is ok. I would say it is a safe gift or a safe blind buy, but it won ́t turn heads. Try it if you like Chloé Eau de Parfum.

This was more on the heavy side than I expected. A nice, well blended fragrance with a citrus dominant opening, then it turns more fruity floral with a woody undertone and after about 2h turn into a skin scent of sweet floral musk. Unfortunately it is not my fragrance as it is to heavy for me, I cannot imagine reaching for it.

Clean and put together - unisex almost. Can work under any circumstances, because it's not in your face. In the same style as Chloe signature. A mature scent, but not old lady. I'll let all my colleagues wear La vie est Belle during summer (sacrilege!) while I wear this. Really heavy and good quality bottle.

Beautiful, the Frangipani makes this perfume so smooth, silky, womanly, soft. It's wonderful, a perfume you can use everyday and feel uplifted, playful, beautiful with a touch of tropic in everyday life. I feel calm while wearing it. Love it! It has the Eaudemoiselle de Givenchy -Sun di Gioa -vibe

Bought it few minutes ago, a 45 ml bottle. It's really good. It has a slightly bitter background that I love. I tested at the drugstore, but is a safe blind buy if you can't test it. In this genre (I mean, pale pink juice), it's one of the best. Probably I'll buy it again. P.s.: poor longevity
