Karl Lagerfeld Paradise Bay for Men

A very nice fresh, clean, bright, ozonic scent. But nothing really interesting. Would be a great inoffensive mass appealing gym/work/dumb reach scent.

Ok, seems Iam the first to review. With Paradise Bay Lagerfelds Team made sure they come out with something that fits the name and pleases the wearer. Its not ground breaking but a better release than the first one of this line. Why? Better peformance. Although its a fresh citrus aromatic/ozonic, it does actually last and project well. In regards to the the smell itself its like they have blended the better parts of Baldessarni Seychelles Edition and Azzaro Chrome Sport together. Thats how it comes accross. Smell very nice and easy going, fresh, green, juicy aquatic/ozonic. The very drydown (after 24+ hours) becomes feminine smelling.

I think this smells like it's trying to copy Bleu De Chanel. I see that the notes are different. I did try both on each hands and there are many similarities. I find BDC a better quality and deeper. With the other cologne from Lagerfeld from last year, I felt like the company copied Ambercrimbies Fierce. It might just be me...

I got this today, sprayed this and the original on both hands and asked my friends who they liked,and everybody liked the former one best, it is a fresh Orange citrusy smell but it fades away quick on me, i had higher expectations.

Paradise Bay lasts over six hours on my skin, though it isn't that strong at the six hour mark. It smelled cheap to my nose on first application. After half an hour it was bright and fruity and more impressive. Then after an hour I was wondering what it kept reminding me of - and it finally came to me - it reminded me of a fruitier version of Rochas Lui, though not as strong as Lui. Regards.
