Karl Lagerfeld Private Klub for Men

It is my hidden gem. I unintentionally tested it while I was going to purchase another perfume. I had changed my mind right away to buy Private Klub. It is opening with very pleasing pineapple with coconut vibe. Dry down to cinnamon and coumarin. Unique smell. Very effervescent. Good for outgoing. Opening scent 9/10 Dry down scent 9/10 Projection 8/10 Longativity 8/10 Overall score 8.5/10 Will buy backup bottle soon

Not expecting much after the letdown of the previous fragrance paradise bay, i just sprayed it on my wrist and went on with what i was doing, but after a while i found this fragrance to be very pleasing indeed, better than the latest from Karl, i will buy this if i get it cheap.

I am so surprised by all the negative reviews of this fragrance. Except for the name (which is terrible), I find it quite pleasant, especially the first 2 hours or so are very good even. The freshness and the spice are prominent in this phase, but also the sweetness from the pineapple complements it in a very nice way. I don't think a perfume have to be ground breaking or difficult to like to be good. And a Karl Lagerfeld fragrance shouldn't be expected to smell like niche. It is pleasant, I would like my boy friend to smell like this from time to time, and it is unisex enough for me to want to borrow it too. If you get a chance to sample it, I really think you should give it a chance. Not to find that one monumental fragrance you will worship for the rest of your life, but to have a nice fragrance to be used in your everyday life.

The opening to this is nothing to special, but give it time to dry down, then it starts to become something nice, that's when the coconut vibe comes to the party ( even though it doesn't have coconut in the note breakdown) For all of you that are looking for a coconut scent & have bought Virgin Island water & mainly got the lime instead of the coconut, give this a try.. Dure longtemps Mon odorat ne parvient pas toujours à déceler les notes de certains parfums .. je ne regrette pas cette senteur je l ai même commandée. Ce parfum mérite toutes vos attentions

Smells like the love child between Azzaro Wanted by Night and Spicebomb. If you're familiar with these two scents you should know what to expect. 8/10 for me

Nice fresh masculine scent for fall and early spring but it has quite weak longevity. Moderate sillage. I've smelt it before so it's not for me.

Private Klub Pour Homme had its fragrance developed by perfumer Nicolas Beaulieu, who has already created for brands such as Armani, Diesel, Chopard, Lanvin, among others. With notes of grapefruit, lavender, and basil, the output explodes in an aromatic and fresh way, but it cannot hold this effect for long, as the body of the fragrance brings notes of cinnamon, pepper, cloves, and juicy pineapple. This central core is very evident and the smell of a pineapple cut into pieces and prepared with sugar and cinnamon is dominant. This is basically the result of Private Klub Pour Homme on the skin. Anything I can mention from now on is just to balance out the composition as the scent won't evolve any further than that. Private Klub Pour Homme is clearly aimed at a younger and partying audience, in an attempt to grab that market share represented by the term Private, which suggests VIP guest lists and lots of flirting. For that reason, it doesn't try to contain the sweeter side, nor does it intend to look elegant. It is sweet, fruity, and it dries with a slightly woodier content that, even so, received high doses of coumarin, reinforcing the durability on the skin (as well as the sweetened side). Private Klub Pour Homme does not suit high temperatures, but it is not uncomfortable for daytime use, if in milder temperatures. The pineapple candy smell exudes more contained in these conditions and the fragrance is more balanced and much less cloying. It works that way! Of course, the time of release was favorable for fragrances with a pineapple note, as they all tried to take advantage of the noise caused by the “smoky pineapple” of Aventus (2010) and its mysterious production batches. But Private Klub Pour Homme did not fight with anything in this segment, as its biggest competitors were others, such as Carolina Herrera and Paco Rabanne, for example. Looking closer, Private Klub Pour Homme is a perfume with a pleasant fragrance and good performance – especially if you like the pineapple note. Fans of Black XS L'Excès (Paco Rabanne), launched in 2012, were also very satisfied with this alternative. 😉

Absolutely awful fragrance. Worse than the smell of a window cleaner... for ten times the price!

This could be a great fragrance if the lavender, cedar, clove and coumarin were the main notes but this is a Karl Lagerfeld cologne. Take that as you will, for me it means it's going straight to TJMaxx, Ross, Marshalls, etc. One last thing: The name. Karl, I know you use K's often in your fragrance names but Klub? Why not just add a Z and have the Kardashians for the ad campaign. A desperate attempt to appeal to a younger audience. I'll test this out at Macy's,(because you know it will be there for a month then it will hit bargain bins fast),and see for myself what the results are. Also I expect there to be some comparisons to Aventus because this has a pineapple note, and if anything on this website has pineapple a note there will be people saying "Aventus clone".

عطر ادویه‌ایه خاصی داره. شبیه به اسپایس بمبه به نظر من. اول عطر بوی آناناس بعدش بوی دارچین و وتیور به خوبی حس میشن. ضمن اینکه توی این عطر ریحان، فلفل سیاه، میخک صدپر و لوبیای تونکا در این عطر وجود نداره. Perfume has a special spicy scent. Similar to SpiceBomb in my opinion. First the smell of pineapple, then the smell of cinnamon and vetiver are well felt. In addition, according to tester instuction basil, black pepper, clove and tonka bean does not contain in this perfume.

its not as good as i expected , lasted only two hours on my skin or less, just an ordinary cheap perfume from KL. Would not buy it again once i finish this bottle.

It's a tropical fruit with coconut vibe. Smells similar to A&F First Instinc and Kenzo PH Night. Great summer scent.
