Karl Paris 21 Rue Saint-Guillaume

I am eyeing this at the moment ,I have others of the other ranges of KL.I have to oppose to this other comment for the quality of the products-it is totally wrong ! I do own bags,shoes,slgs ,the quality is great.Idk where you shop from,but I have a totally different experience and I should mark it here.The fragrances are very pleasant ,inoffensive and good for a day to day life.

It’s a love for me! A nice, classy citrus-floral fragrance for the price point. Reminds me of Jour d’Hermes (which I also have), but not a dupe per se, and obviously not as strong (Hermès is very strong and more tart). A cross between that at Chanel Gabrielle ...but lighter.

I bought all 4 of these perfumes from Karl, And I do really like them Paris It is very strong on me, +24 hours a compiment magnet so warm and sensual. It competes with my Niche perfumes, I hope they keep making them, will pick up backup bottle of each just in case ✔

I really love this scent! Feminine and pleasant smelling. It's my current everyday easy pick... very inoffensive😄 a perfect mix of floral and citrus. My skin picks up the jasmine really well. 10/10.

The dry down from this perfume is just wonderful...sweet ...like candy...

Cherry flavor... love to drink, not to wear

I had quite a different experience with this one though I agree that this line is a mix of hit & miss. This, however, is a hit in my book. A citrus-woody floral with quite a punch. Sprayed once to the back of my hand appr. 3 hours ago. Washed my hands several times (hi, Covid) and it's still there. Dries down very woody, with the citrus still noticeably there but no florals/jasmine. The latter is really fresh (thank you, violet leaf) and intense in the opening. Rose & patch not too prominent during this testdrive but that might be different with a full wear. Also, it does remind me of something but I cannot put my finger on it right now. Maybe one of the Saab flankers or something... Hm. Bottom line: Very nice offering and scent, for a great price. If you're looking for a fresh, woody scent and don't mind a tad masculinity in your fragrance - give this a try. On some, however, it might be more floral. I tend to amplify woods and citrus, however :)

I'll try to be as helpful as possible with my review. First of all, all I can say is that I really like it. I sprayed it on both my skin and clothes, and to my nose it has a similarity to Dior J'adore and Chanel Gabrielle (and they have some notes in common). So if you like those fragrances, you'll like this one. It's a is a citrusy- floral indeed, not fresh- airy, it has a sharp note that could be annoying to some people. To me it has a soapy- body lotion feel to it that I smelled in J'adore before (but not suntan lotion- that's a totally different story). It's a very feminine, classic yet modern, quiet yet sophisticated scent. I think what Karl tried to do with his perfume line was to reinterpret in his own manner the classic, popular, early 2000s fragrances that he loved. Good lasting power and average projection sprayed on clothes.

This fragrance starts with fragrance Karl Lagerfeld for women, then at some point after 1 hour it turns into the J'adore from Dior. I would say second part of this story lasts as much as the first one- also around 1 hour. Then it calms down and becomes close to the skin ..I feel some sandal note. Then, becomes a skin scent. Maximum 3-4 hours all the game lasts. Not too much long lasting, but quite a good bargain for its money. Quality of a scent is not a cheapie, but I do not think Im gonna buy it for myself..I have similar smelling fragrances. Nothing unique here.

This is a beautiful white floral fragrance, very elegant and the longevity is amazing. Great value for the price and a safe blind buy! I bought it for my mom and she gets tons of compliments, plus the projection and longevity on her are incredible. It’s so much better than a lot of perfumes in the market for a fraction of the price.

I thought this was quite a nice but simple white floral freshie type thing. But then the musky fresh rosey pastel middle notes emerged and I love it. In feel this is sorta like the new Byzance and mont Blanc signature, but there is more of a journey with jt. It's a hot day, this has great sillage

It took time to be comfort with this perfume, but finally I like it. It is very strong and aromatic flower perfume, it is like aura around you. The strongest are: violet and jasmine.

I liked it at first, but with time I felt it developed a note of synthetic sweetness, almost cherry-like. It feels playful. It doesn't last long.

imo not as good as the tokio! too flowery for my taste

22. July 2020 As much as i respect mr. Lagerfeld's legacy, i wish they would stop with his namesake brand now. The quality of fashion items is quite poor (i own quite many fashion items and they do not deserve their price tag at all) and so is the quality of his fragrances now. This new addition to his brand was not necessary IMO. The sillage and lasting power are so weak on skin, that i cannot smell it after an hour almost at all, and i sprayed twice liberally two times. Its so weak that its difficult for me to detect any notes, all i can smell is cheap low sillage musk, bit of poor man's rose and bit of sandalwood. I honestly had to sniff hard and a lot to detect even those. To me it smells like some of Zara fragrances. My main issue is the zero sillage and non existing lasting power. Just another no from me. I went and ordered another bottle of Sun Moon Stars instead, to keep a good memory of Karl's legacy. These new frags are just big "no" from me. If i would have been presented this scent in a bland bottle with no name, i would give it a big pass, i try to give an honest opinion and its not a positive one. Please do not remove this comment, its an honest and unbiased opinion and not every review should be positive but might be helpful to a person, who will blindly buy it.

Really not for me, I'm afraid. It's definitely not a chypre, more of just a regular generic floral + citrus scent. Sillage and longevity are both very weak, and the fragrance is just... boring. I guess it's an alright price but there are better cheapies out there.

I thought I liked it in the shop, on my hand and it was a great price, so I took it. Later, when I wore it for a week, it was a great dissapointment. It's not exactly citrus, not flower, kind of sour ... Boring. I got rid of it.

The smell is okay, but the longevity is just sad

I tried it today at my local counter I would say that smelled exactly like Coco Noir from Chanel with fresh and modern DNA. It's great for daily scent to compare to Chanel Coco Noir. The scent was great with jasmine, rose and sandalwood, it's not too warm or animalic, quite musculine (maybe sandalwood is intensive note) Great price tag for daily uses and blind buy Lasted over 5-6 hours

Very light, first spray smelled kinda blue like Daisy Dreams but there’s some lighter citrus and fruit notes. Barely lasts five seconds on the paper strip I’ve got but I quite like it and would like to try it again.

I bought it for a great price, and I can say it's not the most breathtaking scent I own, but sure is office friendly, with very pleasant and discreet aura made of jasmine, which is a scent note I adore.

This is soooo meh... on me, it is predominantly citrussy and also doesn’t last for long, tops 1 hour.

This is a pleasant, happy floral. It is nice for a sunny day. Feminine and inoffensive.

Very nice, delicate, feminine. Good price/quality ratio for entry-prestige.
