Lagerfeld Men

This is some of Christine Nagel's finest work. This is a beautiful modern take on a floral chypre/fougere hybrid. The woody-spicy quality of the cedar and cinnamon combination is perfectly juxtaposed with the sweetness of yuzu and aromatic lavender. It's classy, spicy, and masculine, but not in an overbearing way. It's a very elegant, refined fragrance that is incredibly underrated. It's a real shame this fragrance is discontinued. If you can find it at a decent price, it's worth a purchase. Decent performance and longevity. If you like other Karl Lagerfeld offerings or fragrances like Costume National Homme, you'll love this.

really reallly outstanding woody spicy scent.one of the best release from lagerfeld house. it isn`t resemble any other fragrances.openning with citrus and peppery feel on the cedar and woosy notes which has a pencil shaving vibe. pepper woods are all the best notes. really nostalgic from 2000s .wellblended extremely nice aroma and above average longevity and average projection. true gem 9/10

We liked hubby used it up, it was a citrus fresh spicy lite musk. The hubby or I will buy it again if we can find it.

Paper dry, spicy, touch of citrus on the top. Lovely unique scent, its nothing special but havent come across too many that smell like it. Not much of a compliment getter though. Works so good on a sunny crisp winters day.

One of the best cinnamon scent. Great longevity and projection. Unfortunately, can't buy another bottle...

I purchased this three times on eBay because the first time it smelled sour as if juice went bad. Unfortunately they all smell a bit rancid and I don’t smell anything everyone is smelling nor the notes are what I smell. The top on all three I purchased (all from different sellers. One box was even sealed) is sticky as if the plastic rubber on top went bad from the years or heat. Shame. I really wanted to to get to know this fragrance as I have missed it and never came across it during its release. The reviews and the notes sound promising. Unfortunately don’t know if I want to take another chance and buy another 😂

I liked it very much when I first smelt it. I thought it was fruity and fresh; it also had a very spicy "point" or "tip" (I don't know how to explain it, as English is not my native language). Something almost as pepper. Even a bit powdery at times. But I liked it. Now, after using it for more than a month, all I can smell is that spicy note, and I cannot smell the other freshier, almost aquatic notes. So I don't like it that much now. It's my nose's fault anyway, not the perfume's.

This is one of the driest smells I have come across. Cedar chips. Wood shavings scattered on the floor of a workshop. Sawdust. An old cedar chest containing packets of dried lavender. Very rustic feel, like I'm wandering around an old log cabin.

can't seem to find this anywhere - I know it has been discontinued but thought on eBay at least would be there ;(
